Oh Bill, you have this wonderful way of humorously describing the obvious. In the end we will have to pay our debts and we will decide to do that with a greatly depreciated dollar. There really is no other way at this point in history. One cannot expect pensioners to graze on their lawns after a lifetime of hard work. It won't do! They may have to tighten their belts a touch but no more than a touch. To prevent the masses from picking up their pitchforks minimum wage will go from $15 to $20 to $30 which will help pay for the higher prices on everything, and like the frog in warming water if done incrementally no one will notice.

You know what I'm really worried about? That drought in the Western US is going to affect in a serious way food security. If climate change brings three major crop failures in one year you could, perhaps, see famines of biblical proportions. Who do you know that has more than two weeks of food in store at home?

The Fed is a reverse Robin Hood, robbing the poor and giving to the rich.
