Who would have thought that Trump would push for Socialist policies? Having the Federal Government own the means of production (even in part) is by definition a Socialist policy. Trust the Feds to direct capital? Yikes, that historically goes so well. I never saw that coming! What a time to be alive….

Regular readers will know that I lived abroad in Germany while studying 1972-73. When there, the Germans would often cite 30 degrees Celsius (86-87 degrees Fahrenheit) as "unbearable" heat. The early summer of '73 saw a heat wave in the Rhine Valley, and temperatures climbed to 32+ (90+ Fahrenheit), and as an Ohio Valley boy, I had seen those kinds of temperatures, and worse, and my family had no air conditioning until the summer of 1960, so while we all sweated and complained, it was nothing new to me. Even this summer, we have had day after day temperatures of 90+, and yesterday in Louisville, it was in the mid-90s. I know, because I was there. A friend of mine in St. Louis, notorious for hot summers, reports a similar condition.

Obviously, this is an attempt by the resident wh!te folks of northern Europe to help the new occupiers/caretakers of the northern European expanse feel "at home" in their new domain. Very considerate and accommodating, I'd say, and no props given by the commie Left Establishment and no expressions of thanks on the part of the new owners. Best always. PM
