Fun read Bill, you point out legitimate reasons why Gen Z, as well others, are cozing up to socialist and communist governance. I mean when the corrupt crony capitalism fails to meet their financial needs, the Gen Z'ers look around for other alternatives. And to be sure the socialists put plenty of lipstick on the pig, so much so that it looks like a fashion model; what could go wrong?
Bill also mentioned the fraudsters and the retaliation by our "shocked" government. I would like to point out that only the reason for the shock and awe is due to the fact that the fraudsters are taking over the government's territory and we can't have that can we?

Its a story you must love telling but its not investment advice. It diminishes the BPR product. If you are required to write a certain number of these missives over a certain time frame, consult with your partners and see if you might cut them back to say twice a month, once would be even better. History, and philosophy are your strengths. They provide context for the current times. I went back over the some of your earlier writings when BPR just got started - you were an amazing writer. I loved reading them again. And would love to go back to that Bonner I knew from my Baltimore days. Just saying.

Would the Delaney ice detention center be a reasonable test for generationZ opposition to federalism if the government just released every one and closed the facility. Wouldn’t NJ legislators have a real societal problem on its hands. How long would it take for a governor recall or begging for the national guard. I hear the limb cracking but this has been bugging me😎
Maybe Donnie and JD should start their corruption campaign in the White House itself. Seems that some of the donors the the Big,Beautiful Ballroom have had a nice return on their "donations" - $50 billion in government contracts.

How can honest people resist the temptation presented by those who defraud?
If something seems too good to be true, it probably is a fraud.
Separate want from need first. Needs are very basic things we must have to live.
Wants are things we desire that we don't really need. Our desires cause us great stress and often loss.
How can one control our desires? That is the great question we must answer.
Fulfilling needs is fairly straightforward. Work. Sell your time to buy what you need.
Fulfilling wants has no clear end or method to achievement. Wants are often limitless.
We must ask ourselves what we must give up to get what we want. Are you willing to sacrifice what you need to get what you want? Is your want emotional or even rational?
Weigh what you must give to get against what you want. Are you willing to lose all that you wager to get what you want? Risk to benefit.
Is the person who is promising you to give you what you want honest? Have you done due diligence to find out if that person is and has been honest with others? If you cannot prove they are honest and have provided others with what they wanted at a reasonable cost (without loss), then stop and consider not dealing with that person. Fraud depends on belief without proof of delivery to be forthcoming.

What you might do is suggest Amendments to the Constitution that would restore America to where it was in the past. Our founders dealt with this unMrest for 20 years. It led to the Revolutionary War. The Constitution, as we prefer not to see, was not agreed upon for another 10 or so years. That document and all the founders were trying to what is right. Very virtuous, Modification or improvement, like all things do, is needed.
Critics are important as always, but action is required.
Ahh Bill still the best read of each morning here in the land of Oz .. yes what goes around comes around .. so china will become the capital of free enterprise and Usa will become the centre for social cohesion and enforced social rules .. ie your kids will be instructed in LGBQU BS whether you like it or not .. schools MUST enforce/PREACH social norms ! about everything in human life from when you're born to how/when you can die and every minuscule self de-terminating decision you MIGHT make in between ..
