It’s back to basics for the ‘liberals.’ Gone is the divisive claptrap — the dumbbell pronouns, DEI, the trannies and weirdos--even Black Lives don’t matter anymore. The winning formula is 'free stuff.'
I suspect Mamdani was selected not elected. This, after all, is now standard operating procedure in western “democracies”. Perhaps the Take Down America force didn’t even have to cheat to bring their man into the NYC mayor’s office. Politics is surely much easier for them in New York. The Take Down America force is the same one that ruled America for 4 years under Biden and 8 years under Obama. Theirs were the first governments on our planet that governed according to a national suicide pact, a deliberate set of policies designed to destroy the nation they were charged with governing. Recently other governments, exclusively in Europe, have joined the rule by suicide mission. Trump the disrupter did it again in 2024, this time bringing real power to his administration(thanks largely to the tech bros), something he lacked in his first term. The Take Down America force was never going to sit idly by while Trump disassembled their 12 years worth of destruction(financial part excepted!).
Mamdani seems like a tactical if not a strategic shift for them. Five out of the ten largest cities in the UK are governed by Muslim mayors. The Green Axis has been so successful there, why not here? Hijrah will be more difficult in America. It will not be impossible.
Brien, does it matter whether elected or appointed? Result is the same. Do we want to survive? We must separate from the Left, now, immediately, and forever. Will we even have a country over which to "vote" in 2026 and 2028? Best always. PM
I agree Paul. Democracy is an illusion, certainly in our day and arguably since our inception as a nation. Our founders understood this and tried their best to create a system that would be by the people, for the people and of the people. It was an experiment and they knew it. “A Republic, if you can keep it” is how Franklin saw it. But it is important for us all to know who the power brokers are, to know the “perpetrators”. If we don’t know our enemy, as Sung Tzu first reminded us, we will succumb in every battle.
Freebies? DEI? Blue ties? It’s not that complicated Bill. The entire explanation was summarized in your fact about the 12 percent of New Yorkers who are now Muslim.
O. M. G. How my heart sank! Godless Communism, as it was called in the 50s, is at least a European phenomenon. A Mexican Reconquista of the Southwest (5 states now majority-Hispanic? At least they're neighbors and nominally Christian. But Mohammedanism, as it was called in the 50s, not merely visiting but residing in Detroit, northwestern Ohio, Minnesota, and now New York City? What more do we need to know? Best always. PM
Western civ has been at war with Islam (which translates to "submission") since 700 AD. Better wake up people. Look no further than the conquest of Western Europe that is taking place right now, without a shot being fired, and without armies on the march. If demographics are destiny, Christanity in the West is doomed.
It wasn't a pressing problem until technology advances "shrunk" the globe and allowed them to escape the Middle East and Asia into the West. They have used their "struggle" with Judaism as cover to co-opt the West. And, then, of course, Mr. Obama welcomed his brethren into the industrial midwest. The West's Last Stand will likely be near where Custer fell. It's unimaginably bad. Best always. PM
And forgot to mention: we vilify the CCP for their treatment of the Uyghur Muslim population, and admittedly, forced "assimilation" is an unalloyed bad, but they are pragmatic enough to realize they have a burgeoning problem...
I follow Putin´s speeches and comments since long.
He´s held big speeches in the European Parliament, in France, in front of the German legislative body and he was never taken serious. As time goes by it turns out that his messages were meant to be what they were. Just word by word.
Because that didn´t fit the agenda of many (if not all) western handlers, he was always dismissed. The Ukraine mess is one major result; another can be visited in the Middle East, especially Syria.
As much as I detest the person - he´s of course a breed of intelligence (KGB) and an ice cold strategist - I´m thankful that he is still in the drivers seat of Russia and it´s satellites.
Whatever comes after him will most probably be worse and of different temper.
And btw he´s extremely educated and knowing in history - both East and West
Life in Russia is good (for party members)... just as it is in all other countries... if your part of the sovereign dominates you will enjoy, if you are against the prevailing political tide, you will be swept away...
My Russian ex wife just visited her family in Moscow and she reports that life is good there. Her videos of life there looked pretty normal. I was there in 99 and it now looks much better...
I’ve wondered for the last 20 years or so how different things might have been had Europe and U.S. tried to bring Russia into their circle after the end of the Cold War. Putin could have led a Renaissance in Russia far more beneficial to his people than his ridiculous efforts at conquest. Long shot maybe, but…..
Should have extended NATO membership to Russia in the 90s. My opinion. Would have put pressure on China, and would have lessened pressure in Eastern Europe. Best always. PM
My Kiwi friends tell me a large number of Europeans are fleeing to New Zealand, They are spending the 5 million dollars and opening a new business that is needed to immigrate. The rich and connected always seem to have inside info long before we commoners do. So no surprise that well to do New Yorkers are looking at moving. Their moving means one less vote for sanity in an election.
On Putin : Some days I think he is the only adult in the room.
Both Russia (Putin) and China (Xi) have much longer term strategies than anybody in the West. Rarely do they get frustrated and take some knee-jerk reaction. Slow and methodical. They stay the course. The East is rising as the sun sets on the American Empire. Let's all hope it doesn't end with mushroom clouds.
Sluggo - spot on! Most are so tied up in living their life day-to-day. Not only are they propagandized by the media and politicians, they are stretched trying to make ends meet. And, the elites mean to keep it that way - no matter what. The die is casted as the ol' saying goes so my view is try to do as Toby suggested - "Try to love on your wife, Stay close to your friends, and Toast each sundown with wine". None of us are getting out of this alive.
Those Europeans seem to have missed the realitiy - in person of Jacinda the horse Adern and her fellow totalitarian politicians. If C19 hasn´t taught them the realitiy of NZ politics, they deserve to be there and find out the hard way.
Not forced exactly, but gone anyway and good riddance. As to Petra's point - while it looked as though we were heading irreversibly in the direction you allude to, I think sanity has finally prevailed and some things now look considerably better. You're not confusing us with Australia are you???
Ol' Angry, what would you prefer then from Mr. Bill? Fake solutions? There are no solutions. The Empire is declining at an accelerating rate. Unfortunately, during our time here on Planet Earth. Should we all go to the "bardo plane" and wait for another chance? America is no longer the 1000lbs Gorilla worldwide and the West can't stand it. What comes next - War......it is what humans do when they get desperate and frustrated. Going to be ugly!
I found a few things to argue but, since only fools argue with fools, decided to remain quiet. On introspection, I now wonder which one of us is the fool….
There is no “coexisting” with islam, just as there is no such thing as “radical islam.” That term is a Western society coping mechanism to avoid facing the reality of islam.
As a muslim woman who escaped ISIS said, “They are the most devout muslims I’ve ever seen. They are practicing islam exactly as written by their prophet.”
It's a bitter pill for me. 1 million resident Moslems in NYC? The nominal "Mecca" of Christian Capitalism? If you looked at our current situation as a RISK gameboard (Parker Brothers-Milton Bradley-Hasbro), you'd see the end coming quite clearly: all of our resources far flung across the board while the home continent is swept away. Still, this is no game; it's reality. There won't be cleaning up, sorting the pieces, and putting the game away for the next time. It's not a game, but it is Game Over. We waited too long to get going. Meanwhile, Bonner gets to gloat. I always was a poor loser. Best always. PM
People have a difficult time purchasing products, homes, education, etc because inflation causes everything to spiral upwards. Salaries need to go up to have even a minimum standard of living. We just have too many (most) crooked politicians that could care less about the country and its people. We need term limits, no federal reserve, no ‘world’ tariffs-all live in a equal playing field (best productive country/company survives), no lifetime pensions for politicians, no lobbyists, no purchasing company stocks until they leave office, no going to work for a company for at least 5 years that they colluded with while in office. Utopia, maybe? Just a dream, just a dream.
The problem in NY (and CA and others) is and has been bad leadership. Mamdani won’t fix that. He will possibly make it worse. We all know there’s no free lunch. We should also remember you CAN’T TAX RICH PEOPLE or CORPORATIONS beyond what they are willing to pay. They simply leave. The world is chocked full of examples. And the first 1-2% that leave generally take 10-15% of the tax base. It’s been happening in CA for several years. In NY city, the Jews will finally wake up and leave (!!) and the wealthy whites will leave. Mandami will end up with another Detroit. Detroit went from 2.3M to 0.7M and forced a rewrite of the city charter.
One thing I’d do differently if I were Trump. I’d go after illegal immigrant criminals/felons ONLY in red cities/states. And I’d publicly announce I’m doing that.
At least we know where the Muslims stand. First, annihilate all the Jews. Second. subugate most of the "dumb" Christians and then neutralize those that won't give up their guns, whether willingly or by force ,as applicable. Obviously, the elite/rich wouldn't have any problem thru donating money too and kissing the many Muluh's rear ends. NYC's upcoming mayoral vote may give us some idea of how many "dumb" Christians (and others) live in NYC. I'm sure that those liberal women demonstrating for Muslim terrorist, would love "to have" to wear tradional Muslim women's clothing in public in NYC.
I suspect Mamdani was selected not elected. This, after all, is now standard operating procedure in western “democracies”. ... I wonder why Russia is the enemy.
They would be the best U.S. ally on the globe.

From Mr. Bonner's musing: "Republicans have turned into fawning, big man boot lickers"?
And then I read commentors on this page stating they don't disagree?
-
Many of Trump's policies are desperately needed in response to neglect and irresponsible liberal policies.
I don't agree with everything Trump does...
-
...and I am being told I am a bootlicker?
FU!

Truth.
Those tyrants come from cultures that understand the long game. Heck, the USA’s 250 years is just a small part of their entire timelines.
For too many Americans, mustering more than a 15 second attention span on anything other than pop culture rot is a severe mental challenge.
Sluggo - spot on! Most are so tied up in living their life day-to-day. Not only are they propagandized by the media and politicians, they are stretched trying to make ends meet. Well said. Some wisdom in there for sure.
Those Europeans seem to have missed the realitiy - in person of Jacinda the horse Adern and her fellow totalitarian politicians. If C19 hasn´t taught them the realitiy of NZ politics, they deserve to be there and find out the hard way.
Kiwis got rid of Jacinda. She was forced to resign and fled to USA. Boston, I believe.
Not forced exactly, but gone anyway and good riddance. As to Petra's point - while it looked as though we were heading irreversibly in the direction you allude to, I think sanity has finally prevailed and some things now look considerably better. You're not confusing us with Australia are you???
Excellent commentary from a very neutral view.
Maybe neutral but does he have to be so damned gleeful about it? He can, and will, retire to Ireland or Argentina. Best always. PM
What, Islamic Ireland or Argentina over run with origianos?
...more negative whining about the same thing...
Ol' Angry, what would you prefer then from Mr. Bill? Fake solutions? There are no solutions. The Empire is declining at an accelerating rate. Unfortunately, during our time here on Planet Earth. ... don't know what it is about the crowd Mr. Bonner attracts.
IMO "things" are much better than they were a couple of years ago!
Why are folks "celebrating" doom and gloom?
Yes, we will all die... but not today.
Seems some folks here lookin' forward to it...
I wish I could find something to argue about regarding this cynical, depressing column, but I can’t. Reality sucks.
I found a few things to argue but, since only fools argue with fools, decided to remain quiet. On introspection, I now wonder which one of us is the fool….
If we asked my wife, she'd say that's me. Not entirely sure she's wrong.
But Tim - she married ya. Hmmm........think about that for a bit........
This is not politics.
It is the first battle on US soil of the new Crusades. Muslim vs Christian/Jew. Be very afraid and be very bold.
This cannot stand man!
They want us dead.
They want to defile your kids
They will not stop
Deport them all
More truth. The clash IS coming.

Didn't "they" build a mosque within a block of the WTC shortly after 9/11? Resistance was dubbed "Islamophobia." God help us.

Who are the most pissed at Mamdani's win? OLD WHITE MEN.
That sounds pretty racist.
No more so than the religious xenophobia displayed in many of the comments above.
I read someplace years ago that the following will happen to America.
Communism and moslemism will combine to battle capitalism. Once capitalism is out of the way, both of these will battle for control.
Let us watch as Rome(I mean NYC burns) They will reap their just rewards.
And they'll come to us for the bailouts. Look, it's nice to say "it's their mess". but we're on the hook for it. Best always. PM
A great one ,Bill, keep telling it like it was and is and going to be.
