The better places to live on the planet are in homogenous societies.

So many like Bill think the hate derives from bias towards immigrants.

It's not...

It's the bias towards mixing and deluding the preferred established culture.

Tom Langdon's avatar

Angry, don't you think bringing immigrants into your country whose beliefs and culture are antithetical to those of the host country, and further, such antithetical beliefs require that they make the host country over in the image and likeness of immigrants country, thus making homogeneity impossible?

Angry Icebergs's avatar

What dictum of the universe demands the host conform?

This can be controlled if constituents demanded.

As the central EU countries have done.

-

Immigration should be as a leaky water faucet.

Drip by drip the leaky basin never fills.

The water embodies the basin and never tops the edge.

-

It is the liberals that want to open the faucet all the way...

Not sure why.

I am all for "LEGAL" immigration. All of Europe has allowed millions of "illegals" into their countries. Their social systems cannot pay for this and they are reaping what they allow to happen!

America is running fast behind Europe. With Trump there has been a big push to clean up the mess but it is not fast enough. When Trump is gone, even if a Republican follows him, the same push to clean up Bidens mess may not be as strong. If not, America will become as France. Can you see the "summer of love" riots returning? Hang on, they are coming. For those living in rural areas, maybe not as much, but the riots are coming.

Speaking of Trump cleaning up the mess did you know that Obama deported more illegals per year than Trump during his first term. Also, that Trump was part of the problem. Look up how he employed illegal Polish to demolish a building in NYC. He paid them $4 an hour with no overtime. Rubio even used this info in his 2016 campaign when he was a never Trumpster. Trump also has used illegals at his properties. Typical politician with the God given ability to talk out of both sides of his mouth.

As a young Catholic in parochial school, we had the 7 deadly sins drilled into us. We were told that to lead a good life, we must avoid them. Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath & Sloth.

Of those, envy seems to be predominant in leftist circles. Little did I know in my innocent youth that when society adopts the deadly 7 as a way of life, civilization would unravel.

OMG Kevin, you sound like a CONSERVATIVE! How absolutely dreadful (sarc). Best always. PM

Dang! You found me out.

Those sins are present in politicians from both teams. Just take Trump: Pride - He repeats that knows more about everything than anyone. Plus he repeatedly states things like this is the best economy ever".

Lust - Donnie has had three wives and cheated on all of them.

Gluttony - Just look at his fat body.

Greed- He's a billionaire but added over $1.4 billion to his fortune with his crypto currency scam in which gullible investors lost over $3.8 billion.

There are many contributors to the riots. Legitimate grievances, paid rioters, anarchists. But think of yourself as a young person with no idea or care of what is going on and your buddies say we can loot some stores and nothing will happen. That will always be part of it in France and the BLM riots in US a few years ago.

They used to shoot looters.

So after 2008 interest rates have been averaging negative. That is taking money from the savers and supposedly redistributing it to the none savers. Seems like the politicians didn't do a very good job of redistribution. Maybe they pocketed it? Maybe they didn't go negative enough to satisfy. Maybe Keynes was wrong with the spending to keep everyone employed i.e. it just wasn't enough to fully satisfy the hordes? Maybe the money went off to China? It seems all the 'Great Intentions' simply didn't materialize. Maybe we need a new balancing act?

It went into the pockets of the thieving political parasites and the pockets of their blow buddies. The problems of today’s world are directly proportional to the pride and greed of today’s narcissistic sociopathic politicians who create the problems to generate more for themselves. The solution is actually quite simple, the billions of the world’s population should permanently exterminate the thousands of political parasites and start from the beginning!! Would be great but in the real world it will never happen due to the stupidity of so many in today’s world!

I wonder about a lot of things, what's for dinner, who is going to win the world series , how long the good Lord has me upright, I don't wonder if we would be better without the illegals that flooded our border. The sickness and evil of the Left that opened the border, I do wonder about that. Give me your thoughts on that Billy B.

French youth unemployment has been 15-20% a year for at least the last 10 years. In the poor immigrant muslim communities it is likely 3-4x higher and many have moved into the illegal drug trade which is booming in France and all over Europe. The jobs that are found pay about 1,800 euros a month pre-tax. Crime is a major problem and violence with knives and sometimes guns is increasing. It is a tinderbox that has been waiting to alight and Melanchon provided the torch. That can't be fixed overnight. When Le Pen wins Melanchon will push for more violent civil disobedience. The euro may not survive especially since both politicians want to exit Nato.

Those currently rioting in Europe are comprised, in the most, part of criminal migrants and their leftist partners in crime. However, looting and riots are not always attributed to migrants. For example, the 2020 American George Floyd and BLM riots. But of course, they were mostly peaceful demonstrations of progressive democracy in action.

I predicted this several weeks ago that it would start in Europe. Look out England, your time is coming. You won't see any of this bullshit in Hungary. Don't worry, it will start in the United States in the so-called Sanctuary Cities (What a Joke). If you had any brain at all, you would get at least 100 miles away from these shit-holes. It is going to get like the movie Escape From New York. They will have to fence them in and let their chaos consume themselves. 2028 is going to be the year that determines how the United States survives or implodes. What is going to happen is going to make an current ICE Raid look like a kids birthday party.

Riots are essentially larger-scale temper tantrums: an attempt by the supposed aggrieved to bring about acquiescence on the part of the nominally oppressive Establishment by making things uncomfortable and/or threatening. Social liberalism is an often-expensive attempt to protect a group of individuals from consequences of their actions and is thus a ruse to appear to change the rules of reality. Guess that makes me a conservative by Mr. Bonner's definition. Best always. PM
