No doubt about it, we have a financial mess. All BPR readers know that neither political class will do anything to change the direction,,,,,all talk, no real action. Sadly, the best each of us can do is live in our respective "pay grade" and be very selective about where we place our investments. Hopefully this includes a solid portion in gold. As the debt increases and the interest rate continue upward, the price of gold will continue it's rise. Key point to remember, both JPM and Bank of America plus Goldman Sach's project gold over $8000 in a couple years. Question, what do they know that us little people may not see?
Hmmm.......a couple of years you say. Maybe..........but the world is changing fast. Now both Europe and Russia believe the other is an existential threat. And, Iran (and China and Russia) think the U.S. and Israel are too. Trump is looking for an off-ramp but he can't stomach backing down. Plus with not only the shortage of oil wrecking havoc here, there, and everywhere - the other minerals such as fertilizer are raising their ugly heads. Where does this all lead..........frankly, it appears "sooner" than "later" it is coming apart. Will it be another attack on Iran? Or could it be Russia attacking Latvia or Lithuania........
Mr. Marshall, It is: Who can manage--the economic decline--better? And I will choose the GOP every time over the increasingly radical-left Democratic Party and their obsession with tax-and-spend; free-stuff-for-all; individual freedom reduction; Bernie Care causing the middle-class to stand behind the poor for care as the rich buy their way out with concierge care; open borders; and, mass amnesty of Big-Govt.-loving third-world peasants, making them voters.
And amazingly, Bill finally spoke truth about the ChiComs and their economic decline. And when he asked about who will be in trouble first is a good Q. It will be the U.S. first if the radical-left Democrats run things starting Jan. 2029. I doubt there will be a depression. This would be too risky for either party, so I'm certain the Fed will step in when the bubble begins to pop to prevent this by pumping many trillions of phony digital money into the economy, bringing about hyper-inflation. Then the party is over. But unlike Bill, I don't blame the politicians; I blame the folks, especially millions of suburbanites.
The real threat is as Bill O'Reilly pointed out sometime ago: With rural and urban cancelling each other out pertaining to voting, suburbanites decide the critical elections nation-wide and state-wide. And as long as these sheltered, cocooned folks have good jobs, good schools, and low or no crime, they are fat, dumb, and happy. Thus they can be easily swayed by emotional propaganda supplied by leftist media.
Until, of course, in my opinion, things crash with hyper-inflation. Right now, as Mr. O'Reilly points out, so many couldn't care less what happens outside their little suburban worlds until it's too late. What really disgusts me and my wife is these white suburban women and their beta boy husbands who shamelessly virtue-signal about how they love all the little black and brown people, and all the illegal alien peasants---as long as they live in their U.S. third-world city hellholes, far away from these suburban hypocrites. Try placing public housing in their neighborhoods and watch them scream. But, of course, neither party would commit political suicide by remotely trying this. (Ditto with reparations.)
Well, in Sarasota County, FL, low cost housing is proliferating in stable neighborhoods subsidized by government. It is nice to live where people mirror 60’s values. Will it last? These are the Americans I put the most hope in, if there is hope. There is always hope!

I'm beginning to be convinced that our dysfunctional politics will crash the country, before the so-called economy. My reasoning? Both sides of the political divide are mutually dependent upon and participating in the "economy", so it's a wash; it has to continue as is. Both sides are incentivized. Not so with our politics. The Far Left continues to gain incrementally, and we conservatives are powerless to stop it. We are entering a critical, potentially explosive, phase. Best always. PM
