The Rafale faired poorly against the Chinese made fighter jets in the latest dust up between Pakistan and India, possibly one of the reasons they negotiated peace so quickly. India will probably order the jet fighters from China next if they can. Funny, China now becomes the “Big Daddy Warbucks” making money off of both sides. Dassault does make really nice Falcon Corporate jets, military equipment might be lagging China though, or maybe the Indian pilots just choked.
I did not know that Dassault manufactured the Falcons. I know a guy who has two. I had absolutely no idea how awesome they are. After nine eleven he refused to have a staffing company pilots. So now he pays pilots to sit around and wait. They get the same accommodations as his guests and family.Eddie encourages the pilots wives and children to be on the aircraft. " A small expense for a great measure of safety." ... If he has any gold i'm pretty sure he doesn't even know..... How much that is. Self made though. No problem with that!
Bad modern art and architecture looks at times to be a sort of militant extrusion of unresolved psychological material. Of course children shouldn't have to look at it but what of the rest
of us exposed for decades to the debilitating dreck? We need special clinics where we can spiritually cleanse and appreciate classical beauty.
Amazing!! Bill has (and it seems relunctanly) described Harris and democrats in a non-favorable light, compared to his apparent hatred of Trump. He had better be careful. If these younger democrats (communist leaning) gain control of congress and the white house, written or spoken critisim may be banned. The history of these types of government don't tolerate critisim and those people doing so seem to disappear, one way or the other.
True, but they are not disappearing (including the critical press and others), as the communist do. Dismissed is one thing. Disappearing is a horse of another color.
Our role as the last man standing after WWII whereby the US created a measure of order allowing the economic resuscitation of the industrial world is being challenged.
The challenge is being addressed by our current president in a confrontational manner. However, in time, he will pass.
Whomever replaces him will not be a pseudo-dictator; exacerbate the deficit after promising to reduce it; treat trade as warfare; regard our trading partners as exploiters and emulate the Dear Leader by convening three hour meetings to have his cabinet lick his boots
While all that may be only partially true, it is mostly fluff around the edges. We can only hope that whomever replaces the Big Man will also undoubtedly love America and put our interests first, battle the bureaucratic, corrupt deep state at every turn and not be afraid to use the leverage earned by being the freest, most powerful economy in the world.
We can only hope (and do everything we can to stop Election Fraud)....
What does empire have to do with an average American? Empire, since WW2, has been the purview of a few, “The Ruling Elite.”
They were different when they devised the Marshal Plan. But they did drop two atomic bombs on Japanese civilians; they rationalize it, but the most likely reason was a message to Stalin.
Soon you had Churchill preaching Cold War and another guy pushing the Domino Theory. Deceiving Harry, John Foster Dulles and his brother were directing the CIA and State. They dived right into regime change and ruined Iran. Before The Band of Brothers could enjoy settled life in Levittown, they sent them to Korea then: Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The war machine never gave us a break.
Now, who are the Elite, The Deep State? It has gotten much worse. “Who are those guys?” Now, it is women to save the day. Name one woman politician that is not as big a nightmare as all the men.
It is a long sad history of bombast and stupidity.
That statue is the most contemptuous, smug, god-awful-ugly piece of craftsmanship (not art) I've ever seen...but I don't get out much. The artist is basically saying the world is imperfect and there's suffering and if you don't already know that here is this offensive statue to remind you. Did the hotel commission that thing? There is a place for art that explores the ugliness of the world, but the courtyard is not that place. The even greater sin is that it's boring.
Brother, you're going to need double and triple decked freeways because the entire sane population of the U.S. is going to be relocating to your state.
Even better is gonna be when Florida DOGE finds and eliminates more-than-enough theft, fraud and grift to make up for the rescinded Property Taxes. It's coming......
Hi Angry. IMO, we can only delay that inevitability. Trump is laying groundwork for a long game with India in an effort to stave off BRICS as far into the future as possible (much further than the end of his term.)
Like so many of his other successes, we have to be patient and let things play out. That is why the libtardes so frequently have to eat their words re. Trump's actions. In the main, they have the patience of a tired, hungry toddler....
Different day but the SOS. Bill must constantly feel like Yogi Berra's quote: "There are some people who, if they don't know already, you can't tell 'em."

Curry can cause that.

The current administration seems to be ousting many who are speaking poorly of it.

Let us blame it all on Trump. That makes sense.

On a different note - generally speaking, I love my Governor. Could anyone imagine any dimocrat, anywhere, trying to do this?? Nah. Me neither...

Excellent. Tired of renting my properties from the counties. No quick fix but it's just wrong! Flat tax? Sales tax? Both?
Did George Washington pay property tax? When did all this crap start? I don't know but I bet it was when we started a "government schools."
Even better is gonna be when Florida DOGE finds and eliminates more-than-enough theft, fraud and grift to make up for the rescinded Property Taxes. It's coming......
DeSantis for President 🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 of course after our Big Man is done Making America Great Again 👍
So... go ahead let them build BRICs?
Not sure what other options there are...

I'd say Bill's more like, "Making predictions is hard, especially about the future."
Yes you're correct. "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." Yogi..
Or "What a great Hotel! The towels were so fluffy I could hardly get my suitcase closed"...
Pot, meet Kettle....
Great response. 100% agree!
Day-um. A self-aware leftarde.....
For a man in his seventies, Bill sure does go to a lot of weddings. Seems like there are some good stories there!
Holding gold is a conscious decision to not invest until the emergence of an honest monetary regime allows for the comparative pricing of risk assets.
