But oversimplifying can cause big mistakes. ‘Enemies’ are not always real enemies. Wars are not always worth fighting. And stock market prices do not always go up.
Once again Bill is able to simplify how life works by showing how little influence us proles have on anything. And, although he didn't say it - wishin' and hopin' ain't going to change anything. For us knowing America is entering into a dark era and the World is changin' rapidly. All we can do is enjoy life while we are able and put some effort into preparing the best each of us can for what lies ahead. Chaos cometh!
Bill, your knowledge and understanding of current affairs is amazing. I agree with everything that you have written today about what the current trends present. There is certainly a storm brewing for sure and yet; no one seems to be battening down the hatches for the benefit of all of America.
There was a time (I think) when opposing politicians presented their opinions and voters decided whose options they liked better. Today we have one side that simply lies about everything and the other side has been sleeping for most of maybe 60 years. The process has deteriorated to the point our choices are now more good vs. evil than anything else. Also, how can you measure inflation leaving food and energy out? Maybe most of us don’t eat anymore?
Simple examples of evil:
Biden’s inflation has intentionally helped destroy the lower and lower middle classes.
The open southern border has led to tens of thousands of American deaths due to fentanyl poisoning.
Conflicts in multiple areas of the globe are killing thousands.
Significant numbers of Americans are being killed by criminals who should never be left out of jail or illegal immigrants that should have never been left into the country.
Every single thing they told us during Covid (follow the science) was wrong.
And they locked down American cities while letting millions cross our border with God-only-knows what conditions.
These things are the direct result of INTENTIONALLY bad decisions made by bad leaders.
Our leaders are destroying lives and killing people at rates not seen before even in war. (Vietnam- 60k dead over 10 years!)
Our choice in November is either try to save our society or start learning Mandarin.
Or, I guess, you can continue to blame Trump.
This election will show us all just how stupid we Americans have become.
Mr. Boaman, Impressive list. But I'm not sure that most Americans have become "stupid." A very high-I.Q. person can be quite ignorant or unknowing or complacent about anything outside his or her own little world. The problem I see is the complacency of suburbanites (who decide all important elections because rural voters cancel out urban voters or vice-versa). So many jobs held by suburbanites are artificially propped up by this enormous public and private debt, estimated at nearly $100 trillion. So as long as this continues, a great number of suburbanites feel just fine about things, especially because their schools are fine and their neighborhoods are safe. They think all the problems are in U.S. third-world cities (which most are), where they would never live, and those suburbanites who work in them are usually guarded by police M-F daily. And any sports or cultural activities in these cities are heavily-policed as well. The Globalist Elite (or Smart Left) know if they disrupt the lives of suburbanites, the Dems are finished politically. The problem the Globalist Elite have is that they have let the debt get so out of control because of their unrealistic faith in the dollar as the world's reserve currency lasting forever. So they don't know how to right the ship without unemployment skyrocketing or hyper-inflation occurring.
In April-May, my wife and I travelled to six metro areas in the Mid-South, Midwest, and West, and everything seemed fine in the suburbs of these metro areas. The local nightly news, however, reported lots of problems experienced by the cities of these metro areas, especially murders, rapes, robberies, etc. But when the debt bubble pops, this is what scares me. Lots of unemployment in the suburbs or the Fed will hyper-inflate the currency to keep unemployment down. Either scenario is scary because I don't know how suburbanites will react when they are jolted out of their complacency.
I agree with a good bit of what you say. But two points.
First, while stupid and ignorant are not synonyms, IMO stupid and willfully ignorant are. One’s IQ doesn’t matter if evaluating incorrect information. Second, the left is so dishonest that I have little faith this election will be fair.
I have seen/heard enough regarding PA and GA to conclude the result’s were seriously manipulated in 2022 and was it Lenin who said it doesn’t matter votes it only matters who counts the votes.
Thanks for your input; I only hope you’re right about us suburbanites.
Agree Richard, and right on point! So many more examples of the insanity of evil that is strangling our world. I know who was behind the Plandemic when it was illegal to worship in a church, but promoted to gather at liquor stores and Pot dispensaries. God bad, alcohol and drugs good🤔 free joints to those ignorant enough to take the jab, and “You’re Fired” for those educated enough not too. I pray enough of us are educating those who are clueless on the exact consequence of their ignorance, and it is a battle between good and evil…
Exactly brother! Heading up to my haven soon to help me Adapt better to this toxic, deranged environment our leaders have created for us. An hour in my new surroundings helps me Overcome all the insanity 😊🎣🥃🎣🥃🎣😋
btw, Did you ever make it to Cashiers and check out Brookings Fly Shop? I expect a report, especially about their approach to refinements for catchermen’s relaxation.
Cheers,
Mark
P.S. The Blue Line Bar overlooking Cashiers Lake. They serve beer, wine and snacks, at an indoor bar as well as screened in porch and deck.
Let me know if they’re flying an American Blue Line flag; if not, I will send them one to complement the view from the lake’s water level dwellers;-)
Not yet, but will give you a report when I do! I’m extremely well stocked with everything now, and normally go up to clean out my mind and cleanse my soul. The mountains have a natural way of doing that. Maybe take a ride tomorrow if the weather’s off, but will definitely let you know. 😊
Wow … after reading this piece … it seems like we have control over nothing … let alone our asset preservation … so why do we bother doing anything … including being forewarned about the future!!
And giving up is exactly what these anti-humans, creating these Megapolitical decisions against humanity want. People worldwide are starting to realize we are being hearded into a really dangerous place, and starting to fight back. Now with elections, but when the powers start rigging them, as we’ve witnessed here in America, the next step will be revolution….super interesting times we are all gifted with. Hopefully enough will wake from their life long slumber, and start making a difference 🤔
Yes brother, truly evil beings. They don’t appreciate our values of live and let live. These creatures worship money and power, wishing only death and misery to those who believe in God, family and country. Highly supportive of the ignorant who believe only in the hand that feeds them and blindly follow their corrupt agenda. These swamp creatures feed on the ignorance of their followers and thrive off the divisiveness of their actions. “Madness” is now what governs us. Evil is what governs them…
On May 17, 2014, Admiral William H. McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. He offered good advice. Evidently, too few took his advice.
We have His command; to have the mastery over all of it. With that dominion comes duty of guardianship and stewardship. It is not a bother. It is not a burden. It is a duty, obligation and responsibility. To whom much is given, much will be required.
Mr Bonner, you have struck a chord with me today with “Enemies are not always real enemies.” Here’s where my Pict gene pool kicks in. “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” ~Maya Angelou
Part #1 of my rant backstory begins with POTUS #40.
R.W. Reagan had this to say, “Inflation is as violent as a mugger, as frightening as an armed robber and as deadly as a hit man.”
Part #2 of my rant backstory turns now to POTUS #46.
"I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden in his book “Daily Memoirs of a Secretary at War”
Part #3 of the rant focuses not on ol’ #40’s the hit man, rather on ol’ #46’s choice for & bankrolling of his selected hit woman. Alias Genghis Khan, a.k.a. Chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Lina “Genghis” Khan.
The government’s own analysis has shown that the Robinson-Patman Act actually caused prices to increase, rather than keep them stable or fall. What does that statement have to do with any of the above? Here’s where the prole day drinking class person can glean the reason(s) as illuminated in a brief essay by James Hickman on 14 June 2024 published here - https://tinyurl.com/2592jwzt
Spoiler: “Inspired Idiot: Genghis Khan strikes again (at your wallet)”
DEAR BILL, EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS. IT IS RARE THAT I HAVE ANY SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE FROM YOUR VIEWS. TODAY IS UNUSUSAL. I REALIZE THAT I TREAD ON VERY THIN ICE WHEN I ELECT TO DEBATE ISSUES WITH ONE AS ASTUTE AS BILL BONNER. I HAVE EXPRESSED IN PUBLIC WRITINGS MY EXTREME ADMIRATON FOR YOU, YOUR INTELLECT, AND YOUR VALUES. IT WOULD TAKE AN ENTIRE BOOK
FOR ME TO DISSSECT OUR DIFFERENCES TOFDAY. BECAUSE OF IMPAIRED VISION, I TYPE AT PROBABLY LESS THAN ONE TWENTIETH OF YOUR SPEED. SO, PERMIT ME TO ADDRESS JUST A TIP OF SEVERAL ICEBERGS. THAT IS, TO ANALOGIZE FROM THE SEASONS---A CONSTRUCT OF DTVYNE ORIGIIN---TO MEGAPOLITICS---A .AN MADE CONSTRUCT--- IS PERHAPS OUTSIDE THE BOUNDS. And thus us perhaps ALSO AN ERROR SIMILAR to the errors of mankind you point to later in today's essay. I shall try to return to other issues later.
what our democracy looks like after.......well it probably will not look like a democracy. Democracy is what has killed the U.S. empire. Like a slow cancer, more and more "democracy" included more and more unqualified voters. Then, once in substantive numbers, they began to raid the treasury until it was broke. Then they raided it some more until it was in debt. And the final raid is more akin to rape....they are raping it to death. No fiscal accountability, no discipline, no education, no forethought as to the consequences. Democracy is to blame.
Looking back, maybe the U.S. would have lasted longer if you (electorate and elected) were required to a take a test covering the three branches of government, history, fiscal responsibility, budgeting, property rights, etc.
Why should a knuckle dragger who doesn't know who the current VP is be allowed to vote? or who is 36 years old without a GED or a job or drivers license, or, or or?
I often wonder what the world will be like when we are no longer its policeman. You are going to have to learn a foreign language and learn how to survive in a middle age environment. How's that for a negative attitude friends and neighbors?
"And what about inflation and debt cycles? What’s in store for a country that has nearly four times as much debt as GDP? And what’s ahead for a democracy in which most voters want neither candidate and the most important issues are decided by big money influencers? .............................
But in the difficult years ahead, shallow analysis could prove disastrous. "

I guess I look at it more as a choice of the lesser of two evils.
So much grey area in cultivating the “wisdom” to adopt the “serenity” of acceptance and the “courage of change”.
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. Then, Adapt Again.

Because giving up is innately counterintuitive in healthy humans.
