When those in power do things to create pain for its people, it is called what it is. EVIL. Plain and simple this is man made destruction. People who have worked all their lives to reach a level of wealth that they can step away from the wars of work and worry. Nope, not for Americans. And I can only imagine what is happening in the smaller, poorer countries. Shame on the democrat party and what they have done without any help, or very little, from the republicans. People who have retired are going back to work. The oil and gas industry, if truth be known, probably provides directly or indirectly for more than 20% of our economy. Biden declared war on that part of the economy which, if turned around could lift us out of this "malaise." What a loser.

Mr Don Harrell ,

I do not think it s the result of the Democratic Party alone . What a happening now is the consequences of a decision made on the 15th of August 1971 , by a Republican president , since then there is been 6 republicans and 4 democrats presidents , as you can count more republicans than democrats , still I believe is that both party should be shame of what’s happening now , both of them never put the people first I am talking the 90 % of citizens who will suffer the consequences which are coming this decade .

It might not have been unanimous, but PG V lays out a very strong case below that it was 90-10 with the Democrats being 90. But, despite all the screw ups over previous decades, the clown in the Oval Office had $2.50 a gallon gas prices, 1.5% inflation, a very quiet and stable Southern Border, robust stock markets, improving supply chains and store shelves were stocked with groceries and baby formula. If he had done NOTHING we would all be far better off than we are now!

I am not a democrat neither a Republican , both administrations have messed up during this last 50 years , we can find errors both side just to mention Bush Jr who stated the war ag terror which cost 7 trillions , isn’t it Trump who bullying Powell to put the fed fund down . I do not think better of the democrats. What I m trying to say I’d they any , Any president of any party elected in 2020 would had been in a shit seat in the oval room today , because the heritage of the mess of this last 50 years of both administrations , and on top of it the Covid and the war ... Nobody at this stage of the cycle of credit can do a “thing “ this system will die , with a democrat or Republican as a leader . It s too late ...

Now the democrat can throw it to the republicans and vice versa ... and what 90-10 ... non 100-100

I respectfully disagree. Virtually everything going wrong right now (and you're a sharp guy so I won't enumerate) is tied either directly or indirectly to Biden's energy policies--period. Oil affects the price and availability of everything and though Trump did want the Fed to keep the rate down that was in 2018 when we had a lot better economic situation and by then were well on our way to energy independence.

Trump threatened to remove us troops from Saudi Arabia right before he left office, unless they cut oil production for the next couple of years... During Biden's term. Right wingers just ignore this, and the fact that Russia picked up almost all of the extra oil sales because of it.

I already responded to you on this. Even if that's true (Reuters isn't exactly a reliable source) so what? Trump must have ESP bigly, or a working crystal ball to have known that Putin would invade Ukraine 13 months after he was cheated, er defeated, in the election. You make a pointless point.

Riots and fires in the streets. 150,000 small businesses closed forever. 107 oil companies went bankrupt. 91,000 oil workers lost their jobs. $8.5 trillion in new debt. Empty store shelves. You do know that there are fewer people employed now than there were in early-2020 before the "pandemic" lock downs right? (The unemployment percentage is a joke because they stop counting people that no longer look for work.) It's the labor participation rate and the number of people that are actually employed that matters and guess why our Commander and Thief doesn't ever mention that?

You do know that those riots and fires in the streets were all the doing of radical Marxist groups that felt they needed to "protest" over a cop killing a drug addicted felon, right?

You do know that the "attack on the Capital" was a very peaceful protest that got out of hand because a minuscule number of the people were goaded into entering the capital by the Capital Police, and the Democrats don't want any investigation into the genesis of that dust up, right?

You do know that a large portion of the 8.5T in new debt wouldn't have happened, but for the pandemic and the various programs and stimulus payments the federal government made to businesses and people, right?

I don't know about any of your oil company and oil workers numbers, but I'm sure when Biden's done Trump's will look wonderful relatively speaking. And, Biden's will only represent four years because you're masters in the Democrat Party have already decided that he's done in 2024. But, you just keep drinking that Kool-Aid.

Check out this quote from Caitlin Johnstone (Aussie):

President Biden used the phrase “Putin’s price hike” again in a reaction to Friday’s Consumer Price Index report revealing continued high inflation, showing once again that the US government believes Americans are idiots.

Which is of course absurd. Prices were already soaring and inflation was already at a 40-year high before Russia invaded Ukraine on the 24th of February, and there was never anything inscribed upon the fabric of reality which said the US needed to respond to that invasion with an economic war that has made everything worse. The US initiated these unprecedented acts of economic warfare in response to an invasion it could easily have prevented with a little diplomacy, and has managed to do so without even hurting the strength of the ruble at all.

There are many people Americans could blame for their shrinking bank accounts, but Putin isn’t one of them.

There are 14,000 hours of video that Nancy Pelosi is suppressing. You think the highly edited video that a sham committee is showing tells the whole story? All you have to know is that Trump offered thousands of National Guard troops to both Pelosi and Bowser days in advance of the rally (by law he can't just put them there) and they declined. That's it, game over.

Look, I am hoping Trump doesn't run in 2024. He has the right message and the right policies, but he's the wrong messenger. You need to get over "Orange Man Bad" and think about all the good he did for the country. Yes, he's crass. Yes, he's braggadocios. And yes, he should have spent less time Tweeting. But, on the substance he was world class. Unlike the clown show that's in the White House right now.

Blaming this president or that one misses the mark

Let's not forget that presidents propose spending; it's the Congress that approves; that is, it appropriates the funds, their Constitutional duty.

The time honored phrase is "The president proposes; the Congress disposes."

And also don't forget that nearly each year, it's the Congress who approves by majority vote to raise the debt ceiling.

This allows our elected officials, whether Democrat or Republican, to spend evermore year after year far beyond the revenues our Treasury acquires from taxpayers, duties and fines

Our form of government, I fear, has a serious defect. This defect may be our undoing

After all, not a single voter to my knowledge has ever voted for a candidate who promises to reduce spending, raise taxes and to drain the Federal trough in which so many now frolic.

Vote Libertarian to win they should be told. No more fake money, no more vast deep state to pulverize everyone to dust.
