Bill, you state Obama deported more illegals without the hoopla, that probably is true but what your TDS fails to mention is the complicit media that rubber stamped everything he did, nor the paid rabble rousers that are there only to disrupt.

John P Gallien's avatar

Thank you for saving me the time. I was going to write something similar.

Bill you are rather naive I feel. If ICE agents went politely and unmasked to their task they would be doxed by agents of the left and their families attacked. What we are seeing is not the over zealousness of team Trump but the makings of a civil war on our streets by the communist left. These people are not ordinary citizens protesting peacefully...these are paid agitators and agents of destruction. The NGOs that fund them do so using stolen tax dollars thereby ensuring Americans pay for their own demise. The circle of fraud by Somalians has two eventual destinations...Somalia where it funds Al Queda affiliates and The Democrats and their NGOs. They are fighting on the streets in order to hold onto their funding. If the illegals are removed and the fraud shut down then a major source of political funds are lost AND the ruse of putting illegals on the voters roll to rig elections in their favour is toast.

On the international front, adding bases to Greenland and building out their infrastructure and economy without clear ownership or defined American interest makes no sense. The Danes cannot afford to secure nor develop Greenland. It ought to belong to America. It makes no sense otherwise. Imagine for a second what would be going on right now if America didn't have clean and clear title to Alaska and some bases and mineral and oil developments? While Trumps style and approach often upsets the status quo the reality is that America needs stronger guarantees than it has right now for all the military expenses it carries.

Patrick G's avatar

Its a very very very coordinated PROTEST, with PAID protesters from the likes of George Soros, and even FOREIGN MONEY. FACT JACK. And then there is that belligerent bellicose bag of manure Governor Walz. WHO CAUSED THE GEORGE FLOYD PROTESTS TO GET OUT OF HAND. AND BURN MOGADISHU MINNESOTA TO THE GROUND. But Bill isnt interested in facts that dont align with his agenda and script. He is just like the MSM. Bill should apply to CNN or NBC for a job.

John P Gallien's avatar

Thank you for your rational analysis. Something we don't get from Bongo Bill.

Mackinac's avatar

NAIVE or complicit?

Burnt taco's avatar

Obama deported millions with the support of the left and their NGO mafia. Trump has cut off the grift machine and is flying solo while the NGO mafia has mobilized with military tactics to defeat him and put deportations at risk.

The 20 million new dem voters in those cities, many of them Muslim leeches, will distort congress for decades if they are not rooted out by any means.

And his defense of the Americas is quite appropriate considering what a shitshow eunuch Europe has become

Ed Uehling's avatar

Sorry but the war department has always been a grift machine and Trump is ramping it up. It has given us the $38 trillion debt and 37 million dead foreigners for no other reason than parading USA arrogance and control. Fortunately, for world health and progress that all changed the day the dollar collapsed and gold went over $4000.

Patrick G's avatar

Well, also Bill forgets.....that Rickards, Doug Casey (who developed Cafayate Homestead Resort and Retirement Community btw) and Bill as well as Denning have ALL stated that the big bad bear is DEBT....all of it but mostly SOVEREIGN DEBT. The Fed is trapped and MUST devalue the dollar and that is what is happening....dont pay attention to that man behind the curtains...the Wizard of Oz, aka Powell, is full of it. And he knows he is. He is fighting a public battle against inflation but MUST print money, a SOFT DEFAULT ON US TREASURIES as foreign nationals stop buying our bonds and sell what they have and replace them with GOLD mostly, including POLAND yesterday and avoid a HARD DEFAULT on our bonds since the FED loses money and our government is INSOLVENT on paper.....38 TRILLION IN DEBT, cant be and wont be paid off...ever...Bessent is trying to outrun the Bear and is on schedule for GOOD GDP THIS YEAR but long term its doubtful. So devalue they must and will do. HARD DEFAULT ON BONDS IS UNTHINKABLE. FOR THE WORLD. Which is inflationary and why I am long GOLD in size and HOLDING. GOT IT? BIll is just negative and blames Trump for the mess. Hogwash from Hogwarts. NONSENSE. Bill knows this but continues to spew his TDS and more baloney than a Bologna Sandwich.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

In reality both teams deserve an F in Fiscal Responsibility. During Trump's 5 years in office the national debt has increased by around $10 trillion, that's over 25% of our total debt in just 5 years. Why give Trump a pass? The clown team of Biden, Obama, Bush and Trump have increased the national debt by over $33 trillion just this century.

working stiff's avatar

Not. Just saying he is not the sole source of our difficulties

Cartero Atómico's avatar

I agree that both teams are spending us into oblivion. This was just in reference to a complaint about Bill blaming only Trump even though in the past Bill has criticized both teams for debt spending and foreign interventions. The $10 trillion debt run up in 5 years of Trump clearly indicates that Donald has to share the blame.

Patrick G's avatar

to be fair to Trump he inherited a mess and our military needed more spending to get in shape, both with ships, planes and other weapons, and give military servicemen a deserved raise and retain them. And other expenditures in infrastructure here at home. BUT you also know what is appropriated by Congress is not always actually spent. That being said, its a huge problem and debt service is rising and so its time to prepare "investment wise" to abandon ship....like Dyson...dont hold bonds or stocks per se. Own GOLD.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

We need more military spending to protect us from our enemies? China and Russia combined spend less than half of what we do. Shouldn't a "successful" businessman take a look at the books before spending more money that we don't have? Trump inherited a mess partly of his creation - $7.8 trillion debt during his first 4 years.

Patrick G's avatar

No question many administrations played a role and so did the FED. Sometimes I try to discern the difference between handouts and spending that buys products and services like DOD or NVDA chips or builds roads bridges schools etc. At least with that we get something for our money The SCAM in Little Mogadishu is BILLIONS of SIPHONED OFF MONEY. And its disgusting. And the Governor turned a blind eye.

It wont be paid back. The national debt service is approaching 1.5 TRILLION annually and so the only lifeboat off Titanic is GOLD.

Mackinac's avatar

When you are handed 38T in debt there is no balancing a budget with a 22T economy that is primarily welfare state. The ONLY possibility is devaluing the currency and rebuilding the country. I would love to see balanced budgets but as Bill obviously knows there is zero possibility of that happening. Bill is kissing ass of the socialists hoping they don't take away his jet and homes in the EU.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

At least Bill has consistently called for an end to foreign interventions and cutting back spending. Both teams have intervened, bombed and invaded this century running up enormous debts. Whom are the socialists that Bill is kissing?

working stiff's avatar

I always find it amazing that all the difficulties we as a country find ourselves in, per Billy, are Trumps fault. As if 1 - 5 years in office (so far) are the undoing of the American way. Not the other Jackasses since Reagan - they have had nothing to do with it. Don’t even bring up the fact that most of the Presidents since Reagan were DEMS.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

Since Reagan? Ronnie tripled the national debt! Last I looked both teams were running neck and neck to see who could incur more debt. At least since Johnson all these stiffs from both parties are helping to destroy the US. This is like professional wrestling - the people in the stands can cheer for either wrestler - but behind the scenes the owners are laughing at us as we cheer for our favorite actor.

Russell's avatar

to illustrate just how full of bs the Europeans are, the U.K. planned to give the strategic Chagos Islands where the U.S. has its most important Indian Ocean base to Mauritius and pay £30b for the privilege! The fact that the Chagossians are totally against the deal and that the Mauritians have zero claim to the Chagos seems to have no bearing at all on the British decision, or EU support for the deal. So why if these great statesmen of principle in Europe never done anything with or for Greenland so opposed to America the only country that has paid for its defence since 1945 owning the island?

I agree with Trump. It should belong to America. It is strategically important to the West. This is not some issue where you want to ask the Greenlanders what they want to do! they don't have the money to defend themselves and develop their country. It would just be taken by Russia and China.

I am very disappointed that hypocritical leaders in Europe especially the U.K. didn't immediately support Americas claim. It's in their interest to do so.

(strangely they want America in Ukraine but not in Greenland!!) why? ....

John P Gallien's avatar

Bongo Bill only reports stuff that are anti-Trump.

Patrick G's avatar

absolutely correct Russell. I am a HUGE supporter of Ukraine and a REAL PUTIN HATER. Trust me. PUTIN IS SATANS SOLDIER.

Feckless fickle foolhardy LIBERAL leaders in Canada, Mexico, EU, Britain and other places are also the BIGGEST MOOCHES AND ENTIRELY RELIANT ON AMERICA.

How do you think Canadians and Brits will like to see CHEAPER goods manufactured in India and China arriving on their shores? What will India and China buy from them? Wine? Cheese? PUHLEEZE.

John Thompson's avatar

Canadian here. We are glad to receive cheaper goods from elsewhere: that is the whole point of Free Trade. Practically everything in dollar stores is from overseas, and their stocks are booming as we take advantage of them to lower our cost of living.

We pay for them from our abundance of natural resources and farm goods: beef, canola, lentils, wheat, soybeans, potash, and now oil and LNG, as two major pipelines on the west coast recently came into operation.

Cooperation and win-win deals are the way to go, not isolating yourself from the rest of the world.

Harold Shaeffer's avatar

Well, come this July the USA has had a 250 year head start with Europe and Canada, something must not be working! Oh wait a minute, all we need to do is hit them with another "Tariff". Now that's a good plan.

Patrick G's avatar

THE TSUS is ages old. ITS FEDERAL LAW ENACTED BY CONGRESS AND UPDATED ANNUALLY. TARIFF SCHEDULE OF THE UNITED STATES. I GOT MY START IN A JOB AFTER COLLEGE CLEARING CUSTOMS ON LARGE CONTAINERS....A CUSTOMS BROKER.

Patrick G's avatar

And as Trump stated he is asking FOREIGN NATIONS TO TRADE FAIR AND ELMINATE THEIR TARIFFS AND THEIR OTHER IMPEDIMENTS TO US GOODS IN THEIR COUNTRY. GOT IT?

Patrick G's avatar

We will disagree John. What province in Canada? And I am not a globalist. Free trade and FAIR trade are two very different things. China and India violated numerous trade agreements with USA and some of them with Trump and also lied to Trump. I trust neither country. Sorry. But the point I was making was manufacturing jobs, and I am not talking Dollar Store stuff, will go away in Canada and EU and that means autos and trucks....harming you (and the USA since a lot of GM cars and others bound for USA are partially assembled in Ontario) Alberta Oil is not light sweet crude and expensive to drill and then refining it to gasoline is very expensive.....

But JOBS in Canada will disappear as Chinese and Indian goods appear on your shelves....

I support SOME trade but it MUST BE FAIR TRADE...as in 1 dollar imported for every 1 dollar exported. WE have Boeing and NVIDIA etc to take up the slack but you dont have either. They dont want Bombardier small jets.

I see this as Carney engaging in a really bad and poor judgment Trade War to stick a finger in Trumps eye. Wont work out well for you, just guessing.

I am not a fan of Carney. Or any Liberal in Canada politics.

Good luck.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

Patrick, when did you become a huge supporter of Ukraine? The civil war there began in 2014 after the US coup and the Azov Battalion was regularly bombing the civilian population of the Donbass region. Speaking of Satan's Soldier did you know that Zelensky has closed down opposition media and has honored Stefan Bandera a Nazi collaborator. Did you know before becoming president Zelensky was a TV comedian who danced like Beyonce and pretended to play the piano with his penis on show?

Patrick G's avatar

I am as old as dirt. A long long long time, and yes I know all their history good bad indifferent and ugly. All of it. I know their culture and religions and history, the Caucasus and all that. The POGROMS. And then Independence in 1991 and they gave up Nukes to Russia in exchange for Russian PROTECTION, or so they thought. I know about graft and corruption (hint: NYSE is ripe with it) and so forth. They are good people and attractive people and excellent engineers, and wheat farmers and other products.

People love to trash Zelenskyy. He was a comic. He won an election in surprise and Trump called him and got impeached by Democrats for doing that. And There were Nazis in Ukraine mostly in the West, and when HITLER ROLLED IN, he put guns to their heads and said, "are you with us or against us?" And if they gave the wrong answer they were shot on sight. What would you do? And Ukrainians have always resented and hated Russians. LONG HISTORY OF THAT. Eastern Ukraine was more Jewish and Orthodox Russian and many spoke Russian. Hitler shipped off MILLIONS of Jews from Ukraine. THE FOUNDER OF NASA WAS A FORMER NAZI. FOR GODS SAKE. And not all Nazis were involved in the Jewish extermination camps. Many were in the Wehrmacht by conscription, or faced DEATH PUtin loves to throw around the NAZI term but HE IS THE REAL NAZI. CLASSIC FASCIST.'

Just saying.

Patrick G's avatar

And its personal to me and no I cant discuss that here for personal and professional reasons.

Mackinac's avatar

Excellent question! One of many Bill hasn't thought to ask.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

So the Greenlanders don't have a day in their future? Here's a question; if you were a citizen of Greenland would you want to become a colony of the US? Greenlanders have national healthcare and subsidized higher education. Would you give that up?

Patrick G's avatar

Greenlanders are moochers off of Denmark and cant defend themselves and since 1951 WE DEFENDED THEM with bases on the island BY TREATY that CLINTON CLOSED and we are going to REOPEN. ALL OF NATO MOOCHED OFF THE USA FOR 60-70 years or more.

Mackinac's avatar

I guess they can go to Oxford, the first 15 minute city.

Patrick G's avatar

One wonders if Bill is awful to live with. Truly. Or is his wife also so dour, negative, Trump obsessed and biased. One wonders if Bill voted for Carter, Clinton, Obama and Biden and Kamala. I do. I really wonder. What is BILL's foreign policy? Be specific Bill. Outline how you would deal with China, India, EU, Russia, Iran, DPRK and Canada and Mexico? DETAILS Matter. Not general elitist academic theories from some Austrian textbook. NO. REAL LIFE DETAILS dealing with TODAYS realities, risks and belligerents, if YOU were in the White House (God forbid!)

working stiff's avatar

never going to happen, outlining a strategic plan, well now - what the hell would that do for creating such hate and separation on “his” comment board. It is all about the ruckus he causes….nothing more. BTW, i doubt he has any solutions, there are af ew of us who have been asking for about two years. The good news is Tom and Dan are on point for the purpose of this newsletter. Making us money - keep at it fellas!

William Bogert's avatar

Those two are absolutely the only reason I subscribe. I don't read 95% of Bill's bullshit.

Mackinac's avatar

Me too. I'd be gone in an instant if Dan and Tom left.

Mackinac's avatar

There is no "solution" for Bill to suggest! The only "possible" solution is the one Trump, Miran and Bessent are proposing and it has about one chance in a hundred. There will need to be both a default and a rebuilding of America. But America does have the resources worth far more than 38T, although it takes time to develop those resources while the debt just piles up. But America did work its way out of a comparable situation after WWII. I'll bet on America before I'd place a penny on the EU and corruption they have come to epitomize. Or maybe someone out there would like to place a bet on 15 minute cities and what EU leaders call democracy. In their definition of democracy they don't allow their opposition the chance to run for office.

Mark H's avatar

To quote your quote: "(By some counts, the Obama administration deported more illegal immigrants, with none of the hoopla.)" It's easy when you detain the entrants at the border then put them in the "Obama cages" awaiting deportation. The difference that no one seems to refer to is that Biden let a huge wave just come in, then resettled them throughout the country, all on the US taxpayer dime. So now ICE and CBP have to surge resources to enter the different cities and remove illegals. The luxury Obama had of detention at the border is non existent in Trump's case.

Richard dal's avatar

I voted for Trump because of his promises, like most did. I expected Patel and Bongino to deliver. I suspect that while their intentions may have been honest, once installed they all got visits from reps of those really in charge who told them the way things are going to go. I've come to realize by listening to Catherine Austin Fitts and Simon Dixon that politicians, including Trump, are just puppets. We are unwitting residents of The Truman Show orchastrated by those REALLY in charge. Color revolutions, MKUltra, Iran-Contra, JFK, Russia Collusion, Hunter's laptop, Epstein.

A Rothschild once alledgedly said in sum and substance "give me control of a nations money supply, and I care not who makes it's laws." BANKS control the money. Pull up charts of M2/XAUUSD, DJI/XAUUSD, and SPX/XAUUSD and see just how connected the indexes are to M2. The Fed's major shareholders are the commercial banks (JP Morgan, BOA, etc), the Fed is a major shareholder of the BIS which openly discusses their plans to enslave us all even further by replacing the current debt based Ponzi scheme with even worse programmable, survielable CBDC's. All the chaos is orchastrated to achieve that end and Trump isn't stopping it, but is just the fall guy. This started in 1913, not when Trump got elected.

Nothing like the good o’l US of A. Where the Ministry of Fear issues press releases the way bakeries issue muffins. Fresh every morning. Still warm. Full of empty calories.

It’s beautiful and ambitious. It wants to be feared, respected, dominant, and also somehow loved. That’s a tall order for a country that keeps yelling at its friends and mugging itself in public.

So foreigners used to store their gold in the US, that was trust, but now they’re saying, “Maybe let’s not leave our valuables with the lunatic who keeps threatening the neighborhood.”

That’s not betrayal. That’s instinct.

Trump thinks foreigners leaving is disloyalty, nope, it’s called gravity. When you push everyone away, eventually you’re alone. It’s not strategy, it’s physics with a flag.

And the domestic terror thing? That’s my favorite punchline. When a state gets scared of its own reflection, it starts calling the mirror dangerous.

Gold hitting absurd numbers isn’t panic, it’s a scoreboard. Confidence down, noise up, reality unimpressed.

The US isn’t playing chess, it’s flipping tables and calling it innovation. History isn’t mad, history is amused, and it’s taking notes.

Flier's avatar

I'll jump in here, Bill, to add a little nuance to your inference that the demonstrations (rioting, insurrection) we're seeing in US Streets is a result of the mask-wearing ICE agents and Obama did not have the same resulting demonstrations because his ICE agents were more polite and didn't wear masks.

Step back a bit. Obama was the "light-bringer." He could do no wrong. Trump, OTOH, is Hitler, twice-impeached, and a felon. At least these are the judgements of our ever-so-unbiased media barons. In any case, when starting from these social bases, one can see that anti-government demonstrations are more to be expected under Trump than Obama.

Then add to this what we are just now learning about the organizing of the demonstrators. They are communicating through online networks with classic command-and-control setting up respective targets, assignments and roles for specific demonstrators. They are not San Francisco hippies with flowers and incense dancing through the streets: they are armed with commercial fireworks, bottles of frozen water, and other dual-purpose devices. They are instructed to harass ICE workers incessantly, both to make the officers' job more difficult and to wear them down.

Compare what is happening in Minnesota, for example, with what is happening in Tennessee, Florida or Texas, where Ice agents are making the same arrests without being hounded by a small army of demonstrators bent on foiling their efforts and making their life difficult. You don't read about the same demonstrations in TN, FL, or TX -- not because immigrants with criminal convictions are being allowed to roam free, but because the governors of those states have decided to cooperate rather than allow professional instigators to organize demonstrations with imported cadres.

So I would argue that your using this as an example of Trump's leading us toward our own destruction while Obama did not is, shall we say, a little jejune. The social upheaval in Minneapolis as not an example of where we are headed as a nation, and it is not all Trump's doing.

Oh, and by the way, you've surely been tracking the manner in which Xi is decapitating his military establishment and solidifying one-man rule there. Coupled with the demographic decline of his nation, should Carney be getting nervous about his overtures to that nation? I would be.

Ed Uehling's avatar

Bill, it's hopeless! Your conspiracy warmongering readers are too fanatic to understand even the most basic motivations of human behavior. They are so partisan-oriented that they fail to see how Trump is out to destroy much of what America has stood for during the past couple centuries. If a Democratic president had sent masked thugs to shoot two of the crazies in Charlottesville, they would have demanded full revolution, but when those same untrained armed and masked thugs are put on the street to shoot completely non-violent protestors, they applaud. "Do unto others" has absolutely no meaning to these phony Christian fanatics. And such a concept has even less meaning for their predecessors, so by merely observing the hateful comments herein, one can understand the demand of the mobs in Jerusalem to inflict maximum pain against Jesus for merely commenting on obvious societal realities of that time. Obviously your reader mobs "know" they are better than you and are unable to notice that tables have merely been reversed. Fortunately, because they are so extreme in their views and name-calling, even their own partisan "brothers" are beginning to peel away and the end result of Trump's (and Rubio's, and Miller's, and Noem's) insanity and disgusting behavior will be a much better, freer and more tolerant world. Their obvious over-the-top hypocrisy, suspicion and crudeness are actually doing humanity a favor in the long run.
