Well I wont berate Bill this morning and nitpick him on his rewriting history....BUT while DEBT has doubled since 2016 some of that is demographics as boomers rolled OFF PAYROLLS and ONTO Social Security and MEDICARE/MEDICAID and then COVID hit and we spent a bundle on that....shutting down and paying out free checks to keep our economy from IMPLODING. WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE BILL? LET EVERYONE DIE? LET ECONOMY IMPLODE? TRUMP WAS CASTIGATED FOR ACTING TOO SLOWLY NOT TO QUICKLY. REMEMBER? PLEASE CHECK THE VIDEO TAPE BILL. AND BIDEN ISSUED A LOT OF FREE MONEY....TO BUY VOTES FROM ILLEGALS WHO WERE REGISTERED TO VOTE. AND CREATE OBAMAS SOCIALIST NIRVANA NOW BECOMING A LAWLESS COMMUNIST STATE LIKE LA AND SEATTLE AND NY.....really really bad news there...and BIG money is leaving....and so are people. VERY SCARY.

Plus PUTIN ATTACKED UKRAINE. AND IRAN GOT OBAMA BILLIONS AND GAVE IT TO IRGC. AND THEN BUILT A NUCLEAR ARSENAL....MINUTES REALLY FROM LOADING ON AN ICBM. GOT IT BILL? WOULD YOU ALLOW IRAN TO HAVE A NUKE AND BOMB ISRAEL OR USA? THOSE CRAZIES? COME ON BILL.

However, I see the dark clouds you do....and people are struggling but I also see in my small southern town a LOT of VERY EXPENSIVE 100k PLUS vehicles in TARGET AND CVS PARKING LOT. And at Costco. I See HUUUGE BOATS at the beach....GRADY WHITES WITH QUAD YAMAHAS costing 300k TO START. LOVE THEM BTW. GORGEOUS. And I see homes going up and selling...and this AM Buffett and Co (well his successor) paid 8 billion a HUGE premium for a builder in SE who makes homes....nice ones but expensive....2500 square feet will set you back 800k. YIKES. Thats NOT a big house btw. 3 br and they arent big bedrooms at all. Smallish. NO DINING ROOM. Just that awful open space from kitchen into great room.

SO SOME PEOPLE ARE THRIVING and SPENDING. WHO IS IT? WHERE DID THEY GET THE MONEY? ITS NOT BOOMERS DOWNSIZING. ITS NOT YOUNG PEOPLE. ITS 40 something people in the IT WORLD.....making a lot of money and SPENDING IT like no tomorrow. Who knows>

Rhett to Scarlett at the stairs: "it's not that easy, Scarlett..."

I remember being incensed when debt doubled on Obama's 8-year fundamental-transformation watch. Now? I can't work up the outrage. How many times have I seen this movie? Being a hard-money man since 1965, when the government made coinage into slugs, where the coinage was formerly real, I knew something was "rotten in Denmark". Mr. Bonner wants to lay it at the feet of the Boomers. Sorry, Bill. When the government started its dollar-destruction perfidy in 1965, six years before Nixon closed the gold-redemption window, I was only 13. I well recall my Mom and Grandmother complaining then about the price of hamburger and bacon, and my getting less of both. Best always. PM
