If inflation was calculated today like it was in 1980 it would be more than 8%. Same with the way unemployment is calculated. What was the necessity of stopping a nuclear program if there was no evidence that Iran was developing a nuke? But even if they were developing a nuke what gives the US the right to bomb them. Was it worth the lives of the US soldiers killed or wounded?

No doubt the loss of the school children was terrible and something the US should be ashamed of and make as right as possible with the families of the dead children. I have been against this war since it began and continue to not support it. I do not, however, ignore that Iran was on a path to develop a nuclear weapon with their stated intent to use it against Israel and the US. I believe they have the mentality and lack of decency to do what they threaten. I do not support the war because of some latent love for Iran. I do not support it because the timing was wrong and it could have waited until after DJT spent the time and money on the internal US issues that he promised to address. Sooner or later we would have to address Iran. Doing it was inevitable.
