"During the four years of the Biden administration, by comparison, in the same sectors, the economy racked up 267,000 new jobs per month".

You mean after the idiots destroyed millions of jobs by shutting down the economy, and then RECOVERED some of the jobs during the ensuing 3 years?

Oh, NOW I see....such bullshit, Billy.

Actually, it's not so much a "point" as a fact.

Regardless, like previous Administrations the Biden Administration exacerbated our national debt, a debt our current Administration is enlarging.

Some factoids:

--The last time there were budget surpluses was 1998 - 2001 (none of which were used to reduce the national debt)

--The last time there was no national debt was 1835

Also, what about Biden’s cooked Job numbers.

All the federal economic numbers have been cooked for years. Both teams participate in the "Figures lie and liars figure" game. If inflation was calculated today like it was in 1980 it would be more than 8%. Same with the way unemployment is calculated. Shadowstats has unemployment at 24% if I was calculated as it was in 1980. Best advice is to not believe anything the government says, no matter which team of idiots is in power.

If you cannot question this blather it’s not information, it is propaganda.

Absolutely disgusting summary of a wonderful tribute to America's 250th anniversary. You continue to quote ridiculous sources for your warped perspective of this country.

The USSA was always a planned fail, ideally with a "right wing" con artist like Trump in the driver's seat.

You may not agree with everything DJT has done but he has done more for America than any president in my lifetime, I am 79. Yes he is over the top sometimes but he is trying to bring America back from destruction. I don't want to think about what will happen if the socialist take over.

But how do you bring back the US from destruction by running up over $10 trillion in debt and starting a war of choice -the choice was made by Netanyahu as Marco Rubio admitted- adding more to the deficit and driving up inflation? The words of an old Talking Heads tune echos in my brain - We're on the road to nowhere!

Quoting a CNN news report? Yeah, they never twist anything around.

Additionally, the over 50,000 US servicemen would beg to disagree that Iran is a bigger disaster than Vietnam?! What hell are you smoking??

James ( Jim) Marshall's avatar

100% correct! 50,000 dead, 250,000 wounded. Get your facts right Bill!!!!

What was the necessity of stopping a nuclear program if there was no evidence that Iran was developing a nuke? But even if they were developing a nuke what gives the US the right to bomb them. No hypocrisy in the fact that we have nukes and our "greatest ally" has over 200 of them? Was it worth killing 160 school girls? Was it worth more inflation and more debt? Was it worth the lives of the US soldiers killed or wounded?

Sierradenali's avatar

Bill, it’s so cheap to be deliberately obtuse! Stopping Iran’s nuclear program was not a necessary and incredibly important result?

Time will tell many stories..... most of yours will be documented to be the propaganda they are. Take a couple days off and count your blessings that this great country(you think is a shit hole) has provided. How about becoming unburdened by what can be...

Boy Bill did you get up on the wrong side of the bed. Maybe instead of quoting the foul legacy media you should watch the UK and Australian FIFA utubers who sing the praises of the American experience and denigrate their own press for misrepresenting the American experience to the world.

Cartero - You say there is no evidence of Iran’s intention of developing a nuclear weapon. How so? They stated when they first met with the US negotiating team that they had sufficient processed fuel to make 11 nuclear weapons! This is after they processed fuel beyond any peacetime use, hid the location of their processing facility, and of course have threatened the US with “death” for the past few decades. No doubt the loss of the school children was terrible and something the US should be ashamed of and make as right as possible with the families of the dead children. However, keep in mind that if Iran ever nuked the US or Israel, the entire population of Iran would suffer considerable lives lost.

I have been against this war since it began and continue to not support it. I do not, however, ignore that Iran was on a path to develop a nuclear weapon with their stated intent to use it against Israel and the US. I believe they have the mentality and lack of decency to do what they threaten. I do not support the war because of some latent love for Iran. I do not support it because the timing was wrong and it could have waited until after DJT spent the time and money on the internal US issues that he promised to address. Sooner or later we would have to address Iran. Doing it was inevitable.

I don't even have to read this anymore to know what's in it. May I suggest, Bill, that you take a breather for a little while and let Tom and Dan fill in, please?
