"Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely."

It is the rare individual that once granted power can restrain from abusing it.

It is a common trait of human nature.

That is why the Founders of America endeavored to create a system that inhibited power.

However, once you open the door to power, even on a limited scale, it metastasis like a cancer

until it kills the host.

Y'all remember what I said: You gotta read these things, as if every word of it is gospel and appropriate, and then it all makes sense, and you save your blood pressure. No one politician ever made anything but sense, never had anything but perfect understanding and good intentions, and the US system was wonderful right up until Nov. 2015, when Mr. Trump snookered Mrs. Clinton, who had selflessly devoted herself to the nation her entire life. Best always. PM

P.S. He closed the border. PM

Yes brother Paul, Mr Bill, or his deranged ghost writer, should have titled this TDS crap Trump Rules! Every time our current president has a win, these useful idiots whine on and on with absolute bullshit. Especially when they were so silent with Biden and the horrors that the left were committing against America. Yes brother Paul, “President Tump Rules” as does America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 All of Bill horses(asses) and all of Bills deranged rants and men, won’t be able to put their globalist agenda back again. America Rules🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

FANTASTIC write up Steve!!! Love the prose! Must warn you to be careful as you are joining many of us on Billy’s Blacklist. Look out for Dembay….

Steve L's avatar

I would consider it an honor to be on the “blacklist” of any deranged democrat. It came out today that 63% of democrats hate democrats🤔 As I’ve always said, democrats are such a self loathing bunch of useful idiots that also suffer from ignorance and stupidity to an extreme degree of insanity. 🤪

One day Bill and Hillary were driving through the back roads of Arkansas. They pulled into a gas station and a scruffy, dirty attendant came out to fill up the tank. Bill looked at Hillary and said, "Imagine how different life would be if you married him Hillary." Hillary looked at Bill and said, "Yea, imagine what it would be like if he were President of the United States."

Does anyone know there is any investigation into the TACO trade? Specifically have insiders been front running the Trump announcements that affect the markets?

Here's something from Elon's Grok in reference to the day Trump postponed his tariffs: "According to a Bloomberg Billionaires Index report from April 9, 2025, the world's wealthiest people (tracked as the top 500 richest individuals) gained a combined $304 billion in net worth on that single day — marking the largest one-day.

increase in the index's history".

Maybe an insider should set up an TACO trade ETF and allow everyone to participate.

Alan Midler's avatar

Cartero, where have you been? Gold and Silver is the inflation hedge - talked about on this list forever. My stocks are up $20K today. We are in the middle of the greatest commodity super cycle in history - I hope you're not sitting this one out.

As far as turning this country around, it comes down to basic math. USDEBTCLOCK.ORG says federal spending is $7T. Thanks to DOGE and the Somalis we know that there is a tremendous amount of waste and fraud. So how much is the question?

Cut 25% in waste/fraud = $5.25T Budget 35% = 4.55T. My wag is 50%.

Revenues = $5.4T - look at that - a surplus!

I'm with many on this list in thinking Bill has TDS. I don't recall reading about Biden, Pelosi, McConnell, Schumer - the career politicians that have robbed this country blind. Congress are the real criminals. Presidents come and go every 4 years but members of Congress are in for life. Chuckie Schumer says the first thing they are going to do when they take back power is to eliminate the DOGE cuts. I'm sure they will impeach DJT for the fiftieth time.

It's easy to protect yourself and stay ahead of these parasites - Gold, Silver, Cash and a pocketful of shells........

Cartero Atómico's avatar

As far as DOGE cuts, they haven't contributed much to our national debt. It increased by $2.4 trillion in 2025. Plus, some DOGE boys are being investigated for illegal use of social security data. Plus since you mentioned DOGE how was it possible for Musk to get a security clearance to allow him access to our data? Elon has billions invested in China and close ties to the Chinese government. I guess China is not an existencial threat rather just another excuse for the MIC to waste tax dollars.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

This has nothing to do with protection. It's just amazing that TACO Trump moves the market so easily that I was wondering if anyone ever investigated insider trading on his waffling. Remember when some investors made a fortune on airline put options on 9/11? Maybe the same thing is happening now.b

Alan Midler's avatar

Again, where you've been? If you retire from Congress and you're not a billionaire then you are financially illiterate! They ALL do it. Yes I'm pissed that I don't have someone on the inside. I could have doubled my January 16 gold & silver options if I knew DJT was going to pull Maduro out of bed - sold have my options the day before.

DOGE being investigated? Really? I think Congress doesn't want anyone to look in their cookie jars. Nice when you have the MSM cover for you. Hell it took Nick Shirley and his side kick to uncover the Somali fraud. Whatever happened to 60 Minutes? Oh that's right - they have to run stories on the mistreatment of gang members from Venezuela.

Congress has run up a $38.6T credit card bill (and counting) and you want to shoot the messengers (DOGE-Musk)........

Cartero Atómico's avatar

One more thing about the great Welfare Queen Elon Musk from his Grok: In summary, while DOGE aggressively cut spending in many areas, Musk's companies have not been targeted, highlighting ongoing debates about ethics and favoritism in the initiative.

Hate to tell you this but Elon used to detested by conservatives for living off government subsidies and the Climates Change Scam. Plus he advocates for UBI and brain chips same as the NWO disciples.

Cartero Atómico's avatar

DOGE being investigated? Here's a little something from Elon's Grok: "This marks the Trump administration's first public acknowledgment of DOGE mishandling SSA data, following earlier whistleblower allegations (e.g., from former SSA Chief Data Officer Chuck Borges in 2025) that DOGE uploaded a database copy to a vulnerable cloud environment, risking data of over 300 million Americans"

Plus, we not only don't know who these people are but Elon has close relations with China. No way in hell he should have a security clearance.

All that a pocket full of shells, Gold, Silver, and Cash got Maduro was a plane ride, shelter, and 3 squares a day.

The year long rise in gold proves the world (at least the central banks) understand history. I really expect Au at $5000.00 before year end. It's good for me but NOT GOOD for the country. I wish he had been a little less "the pit bull" in his comments. We may have a good financial year ahead in the markets, but the coming downside is going to be a killer!

Harold Shaeffer's avatar

Jim, So far I'm also on the winning side, but in "my opinion" it is going to take seeing gold double, then even triple etc. before our leaders will realize "this Greenspan Put idea" is sinking our capitalistic ship. It probably is already too late.

We have a National Government, including States, Counties & Cities, plus millions of citizens all all signing their checks on the back. We "front check signers" are running out of time and money. Let's not even consider the coming "0 to16 years old's" who are facing no future job, thanks to that marvelous IA invention coming at us full speed.

RANDALL R NORTON's avatar

I think that after we've seen Trump's process, we should realize [watch Greenland] when Trump says, "We'll be the 1st to Mars and take it for the USA and we'll have all the minerals in the solar system!" he eventually does tone it down. I think Trump will embellish everything he initially says. People react: OMG! And then he ratchet's back and by comparison, people say, Oh well, it's not THAT bad. And then he goes to his next "extreme makeover". His process seems to act, then react and then retract and then be the magnanimous guy he is.

John P Gallien's avatar

Yes, but the Trump haters on this page, including Bongo Bill, will never get that because they have TDS addled brains.

Its as if there's want in destroying whats left of America. Hard to make sense in any of it other than, aggandizement.

Nathan Campbell's avatar

It’s really hard to say, We definitely weren’t headed down the right path with the previous administration/political party.

Steve L's avatar

Yes Nathan, and the first arrest has been made. “Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that law enforcement had arrested some of the agitators who invaded a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday.

“Minutes ago at my direction [Homeland Security Investigations] and [FBI] agents executed an arrest in Minnesota,” Bondi posted on X Thursday morning.

“So far, we have arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong, who allegedly played a key role in organizing the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota,” she added. “We will share more updates as they become available.” The time has come to put all of the corrupt, anti-American communists behind bars where they should have been placed with the beginning of BLM, or Xi Pings useful idiots. Let the games begin 🙏

John P Gallien's avatar

"The damage is done" writes Bongo Bill. Trump rambles on, but not as badly as Biden would or, for that matter, the Bongo man would. NEWSFLASH: the American economy just completely collapsed due to Trumps derogatory comments concerning Switzerland and Rolex! It's over! The Bongo man is a prophet!! Hail Bongo Bill!

Jimm Roberts's avatar

Have you no limits to your adoration of Trump and the childish name calling of those who find fault with him?

John P Gallien's avatar

Well, Jimmboo, I don't particular like his name calling, but unlike Bongo Bill's and your TDS-addled brains, I can see beyond it and the good things he's doing: like deregulation, bringing investments into the USA, growing the economy, encouraging energy growth including nuclear, closing the border, getting immigrant criminals and fraudsters out of this country or pressing charges, etc., etc. He's assembled an excellent cabinet that are getting things done. You get the idea, right? No? Have no clue?

The fact is, I ignore the petty stuff even though I don't like it because there are bigger issues to consider. You on the other hand focus on the non-essentials that you don't like even though they don't amount to a hill of beans. You only see the "childish name calling" and other non-essentials, or in some cases, only comment on the policies you don't like and you take what he says publicly literally. You don't consider that things are getting done that are not public and maybe his public statements are just to get a reaction or part of negotiation. It's plain as day, but you don't see any of it due to your TDS.

Worm Farmer extraordinaire's avatar

He can't see all the good he is doing. Just quit the WHO yesterday. Jimmy is insane.

Jimm Roberts's avatar

You are right. I do consider Trump deranged, an apt word.

And you are also right: He's indeed getting things done but in a clumsy, crude and abusive manner often contrary to our Constitution, customs and to elemental courtesies.

Let's see what the Supreme Court has to say about the alleged misuses of his office that they've been asked to assess to date. But we don't need this lofty court to tell us what we already know.

What comes to mind for me and to many others is he's a convicted thief, an inept businessman who has declared bankruptcy six times, a documented liar, now on the hook to pay millions to a woman because a jury found him liable for sexually molesting her, and a man who is doing all he can to frustrate the release of the Epstein files.

We have a grievously flawed, ready-fire-aim man as our current president who is mangling our government and exacerbating our already massive deficit and who doesn't know the difference bewteen Greenland and Iceland

John P Gallien's avatar

Thank you, Jimm, for "manning up" and admitting to what was already quite obvious - your TDS. The first two short sentences say it all, the rest is just the details of your one-sided perception of Trump. Have a good day! 😊

Sluggo's avatar

Have you no limits to your disdain? (Rhetorical question. We all know the answer: No)

Perfect timing.

I am rereading The Dice Man at the moment, the 1971 novel about a psychiatrist who decides to let dice run his life as an experiment in freedom. Reading this column, it almost feels as if someone else read the book too and decided to try the experiment at scale, this time from the Oval Office.

I just posted a short piece called "Rolling the Dice with an Empire" comparing Rhinehart’s personal gamble with Bonner’s argument that empires, currencies, and trade systems only function when rules and restraint remain intact.

Trump is definitely unhinged but if I had to make a choice between lending to the US under him or under the Democrats who don’t know what a woman is and favour open borders… I’ll vote for the former any day!!

And the market rebounds and charges higher. Those index funds just keep going up. And stocks other than ships and oil, too. Love it!
