You imply that people who have a more favorable attitude of China than of the US are stupid. But could you list the countries China has invaded or sanctioned this century? Well, in the last 100 years China decided to annex Tibet. They were engaged in the Sino-Indian War, and the Vietnam War (lest you forget) and they have also had clashes with the Soviets. Of course, there is their ongoing quiet, but very deliberate invasion of countries in Africa where a soft glove covers an iron fist bent on plundering resources while promises a road. While they haven't attacked, they certainly have their eye on a prize they have wanted for a long time...Taiwan which they lost in about 1895 and then lost again in 1949.
I really don't think you want to go down the China comparison road because they have about 4,000 years of conquest history to pick from.

Bill, it's too late, but I think it would have been helpful to your world view if you had ever sat down with one of the hostages held in Iran for about 444 days. There wasn't a doubt in their minds that if Carter had won a second term they would have died in Iran. They thanked God every day Reagan had been elected. You imply that people who have a more favorable attitude of China than of the US are stupid. But could you list the countries China has invaded or sanctioned this century? Well, in the last 100 years China decided to annex Tibet. They were engaged in the Sino-Indian War, and the Vietnam War (lest you forget) and they have also had clashes with the Soviets. While they haven't attacked, they certainly have their eye on a prize they have wanted for a long time...Taiwan which they lost in about 1895 and then lost again in 1949.
I really don't think you want to go down the China comparison road because they have about 4,000 years of conquest history to pick from.
