The longer Trump stays in the captain’s chair...and the crazier and more inept he appears...the more likely the democrats are to win elections — both this year...and in ‘28.
Wouldn't it be great if Trump would just step down. We could go back to forced vaccine and sudden deaths, censorship, cutting off our children's body parts to save their psychology, the EU dominating energy with their removing nuclear plants and windmills to destroy the economy, reinstalling hate racism for admittance to US universities, we could open up our borders and become a muslin culture and we could all hate Netanyahu together, China could come in and cut us up for body parts. What a wonderful world to live in!
Yes! Yes! Yes! Bring the Democrat Progressive Nihilist Fascist Enviro-Nazi Horde back. And while they're at it, supply Iran with all the nuclear bombs it needs. And make everything in China. And Putin - what can we do for that cuddly little guy? He's gotta need something. We'll give him Ukraine to start. As for us, everyone wears masks and repeat the Democrat mantra. Do you see how unhinged they're getting? What a wonderful world it would be - bring Herman Hermits back.
Islam is a cult and should be banned from the world. The even KILL their own kind. Duh? Why do they call Muslim a religious organization? They spread HATE everywhere and are always at war with someone. Should they ever get an atomic bomb THEY WOULD USE IT!

I never cease to be amazed by the apparent naivete of learned people like yourself. The easiest thing Trump could do is to resume bombing. If he were as stupid as you and others like you make him out to be he would have sent in the 82nd Airborn. That's what the Iranian hardliners would like him to do. So would the Neocons, mot of Europe and it seems all too many Democrats. He is playing the long game. Calling the Iranians who have made negotiating an Olympic sport and frustrating them by a knowledging the game they are playing, but choosing not to play. Be patient. He will get a deal... which unlike the JCPOA will have teeth.
What Bonner doesn't get, is that Trump, as he has stated in so many instances, does not like to kill or destroy - he is a builder. But he will if it becomes absolutely necessary to protect us.
I didn’t need to build a business! I’ve done well enough without having to!.
Leaving people without payment for their services doesn’t sit well with most of them! You seem to be suggesting that it is just fine, just the cost of doing business!
Bankruptcy is a business strategy supported by the courts and aided by the state.
Trust me without the available of such a strategy there would be no capitalism. It is safe to say that your comments reflect a great deal of ignorance on the way and nature of business. Wise people eschew those areas where they know next to nothing about, and contribute to things they do know about. What do you know about?
I know that Trump filed bankruptcy at least six times and there were people that didn’t get any money for their labor! I happen to think that’s not right! That’s a fact and that’s what I know and that’s what I said! I’m not gonna quibble over business strategies!
I know that it’s difficult to start and run a business! I had a husband that did it! In fact, he had more than one business!
I also know that Donald Trump was mentored by Roy Cohn
The “power without remorse guy”. He knew exactly how to play the game!
I also understand that bankruptcies are legal, and you don’t have to own a business to file! Let’s say with six Trump should be an expert!
Real estate ventures by definition are not safe bets. Sometimes you win... more often you don't. While Trump’s approach relied heavily on junk bonds and public investors, I do not feel sorry for those who invested unknowledgibly. Unlike those like you whose hatred most likely stems from TDS rather than actual experience and/or knowledge, my comments are rooted in having invested in what was a purportedly a safe bet backed by Sam Zell. Zell structured the deal in the early 1990s to take advantage of favorable tax treatment for real estate investment trusts (REITs), investing heavily in nursing homes and assisted living facilities through a REIT vehicle. However, changes in federal tax regulations caused the investment entity to collapse with it bond holder's equity, most of which was in the form of tax-free IRA investments.
Congratulations on your success. However not having any experience with what it takes to create and sustain a business means that by definition you have no idea how difficult and risky it is. Those that have never done it should read Theodore Roosevelt's "Man in the Arena" speech. It will be quite edifying for you.
Not exactly. Corporate shielding and strategic use of Chapter 11 meant that Trump’s businesses—not Trump personally—filed for bankruptcy six times between 1991 and 2014. These filings involved high-debt ventures like the Trump Taj Mahal, Plaza Hotel, and Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts. By using LLCs and corporate entities, Trump insulated his personal assets, and in several cases, reduced his ownership stakes to restructure debt, effectively transferring losses to bondholders, lenders, and unsecured creditors.
While Bondholders and even small businesses lost value in Trump’s Chapter 11 filings primarily through debt-for-equity swaps, reduced interest payments, and principal haircuts, their's was typically not a total loss.
In the 1991 Trump Taj Mahal bankruptcy, bondholders accepted a 50% ownership stake in the casino in exchange for forgiving part of the $675 million in high-interest junk bonds. The interest rate was cut from 14% to 12%, with only 10% paid in cash—significantly reducing bondholder returns.
During the 2004 and 2009 restructurings of Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, bondholders ended up accepting new bonds with lower yields, preferred stock, or cash settlements worth less than their original claims.
In multiple cases, bondholders received "new paper" (restructured debt) valued at roughly one-third less than the original debt, with limited recovery prospects due to declining casino revenues and insider-friendly deals.
It's easy to go in and blow everything up. It's much harder to wait them out. They will run out of money and supplies soon. By the way, China seems to be telling them to keep the straits open, I guess they want the oil to survive. A game of chicken on a global scale.
In what ways did the JCPOA lack teeth, other than the “sunset clause”? It certainly wasn’t an ideal treaty, and didn’t deal with other aspects of Iran’s bad behavior. But it did restrict Iran from advancing their nuclear ambitions. Verification of their compliance prior to Trump tearing up the treaty in 2018 showed they were in compliance. And since Trump broke the treaty, with no “What’s next” plan, and failed to replace it during the remaining 2 years of his first term, Iran reconstituted its nuclear program deploying larger numbers of centrifuges and stock piling more enriched uranium. So now, Iran has more nuclear capacity than under the JCPOA! If that was our goal, I would hardly call Trump’s efforts WINNING!!!
If the mullahs are truly only wanting uranium for nuclear power, and uranium for that purpose only has to be enriched to 5-7%, why all the extra whirling centrifuges, and the approximately 1000 lbs of 60% enriched uranium that they possess? Why not just give that up? Can't you see this is all just stall tactics until they get a nuke with Russian and Chinese help? They have a hell of a lot of engineers, too. Experts who were involved in these "inspections" said the Iranians had NO INTENTION of dismantling their bomb ambitions. Why fiddle and diddle with these maniacs? No agreement, whether it was pallets of cash, or sanctions (which they evaded easily), was going to deter them. But yeah, let's tie ourselves in anxious knots while they forge ahead. Their bombs will be delivered to Israel via hypersonic missile, and to The Great Satan via other means (boat, plane, or some other method we haven't even thought about). That's ALL they think about.
I certainly made no such claims on the Mullahs current intentions. I merely pointed out that by all observations, they followed the restrictions of the previous agreement (JCPOA) and accelerated their nuclear program after Trump abandoned it in 2018. According to President Trump (multiple times), “This war has been won.” Taken as such, maybe ending Iran’s nuclear program was not an objective after all!
You must have missed the part where I said that they NEVER intended to comply, and lied to the inspectors. If you want to think they ever would, that's up to you. I prefer Realville.
I wonder if Jimm misspells his name purposely or otherwise? The morons that like to sharp shoot what Trump is doing don't seem to understand that two months is a blink of an eye.
So according to Bill, and supported by the legacy media, as is his way, the war is about oil, fraud and poor judgment. Epic Fury is an ill conceived military strategy, Trump is a criminal and so is his family. Bill's perception in sum is that Trump is dumb ass whom, through his naivete and incompetence, has thrown the world into chaos due to the sporadic flow of oil from the Straits. But what is totally missing from today's screed is the reason Trump went into Iran in the first place, that being the nuclear threat. Given the Iranian Islamic culture and the theocratic directive thereof the nuclear threat is very real as documented by both political parties over the 50 years.
Trump went to war with Iran to distract from Epstein. Apparently this worked for some. All part of the bread and circus approach to governing in decaying times.
Well that is one opinion but you won't find much support in this forum. I can't count the number of politians whom over the years have participated in Epstein like behavior. It is rampant and part of the human condition and most folks could care less.
I currently feel like I voted for the Antichrist 3 times in a row. The unfulfilled promises of “no new wars, mass deportations, a border wall, opening the Epstein Files and the JFK files and actually arresting traitors and the powerful criminals” are only offset by a closed border and the appointment of RFK JR. He has certainly rewarded his donors like Miriam Adelson and Peter Thiel and others, but not so much the average voter like me who are responsible for him getting elected. The Democrats will do the same never ending wars but just pile on open borders to the rest of this misery. Never has there been a better opportunity for Libertarian third party.
While there are some minor disagreements among Libertarians regarding borders, the Libertarian Party generally advocates for the unrestricted movement of people across national borders as a fundamental aspect of individual freedom and economic liberty.
So at least as it pertains to borders, substituting libertarians for democrats would be pointless.
Trump’s legacy: the COVID fraud and warp speed fraud, campaign to win on peace and then start an unwinable war, spend more borrowed money than ever on top of biggest total debt obligation in history. The Republican Party is the stupid party and the Democrats are the lying devious party. You are correct Bill. Don’t be dissuaded by the delusional MAGA sycophants. Carry on!
At 76 years, I have been studying WWII for most of my life. I have come to the conclusion that the smartest thing England and France could have done was to let Hitler and the USSR split Poland without getting involved. Anyone who has read "Mein Kampf" knows that Hitler saw Germany's future to its east. War between Germany and the USSR would have inevitably followed, probably resulting in both of those totalitarian states becoming gutted, exhausted and no longer a threat to the rest of the world...
I am starting to view the Middle East in a similar fashion. America should never have gotten involved. We should have tended to our own business and let the Israelis, Shia and Sunnis rip each other apart until they reached the level of exhaustion Europe achieved at the end of its religious wars...
o yea, tell that to the poles..... how stupid can one be, as if that would have stopped them. BTW, for someone who studied WW2, you would have known that Htiler atacked, than got his ass kicked by Russia.
Do you honestly think that Poland came out of WWII better as a result of England and France declaring war on Germany?
Yes, the USSR was the main factor in Germany's defeat, with a LOT of material help from the US. Their logistics ran largely in Studebaker trucks. What I am saying is that the war in the east was inevitable. France being crushed and Britain crippled were not inevitable and could have been avoided, leaving Hitler and Stalin to bleed one another white...
I don’t understand why so many people on here do not see the damage that this war is doing globally! If you believe that the United States is going to be untouched, you’re in for a rude shock!
Because of the war, the world is seeing shortages of petroleum products, sulfur, urea, helium, and aluminum!
Countries are already seeing flights that are being canceled, and we’re going to be seeing food shortages and most likely famine! We’re already seeing energy protests in several European countries because farmers can’t afford the price of diesel fuel! None of this is good!
It's entirely possible to recognize the damage done while still believing it may have been necessary.
Here's the deal---not one person on this forum knows how this war will turn out.
Not one person here knows what Iran would do if it were to acquire a nuke or if it ever would have acquired one.
Not one person here knows if there would have been a better or worse alternative.
None of us know anything.
Anyone who comments about it is just guessing. Your opinion isn't worth any more than someone's opposite opinion.
This is why I generally don't comment about these things. I recognize the fact that I simply don't know and never will know until long after things have played out.
I never said it was necessary. I said I don't know.
And neither do you.
As for "damage being done now", what of it?? You have no way of knowing whether the damage will prove to be worth it or not. If as some people claim, Iran was indeed going to acquire a nuke, and if as some people claim, Iran would use it if they acquired one--would the damage being done now be worth it in that context??
Would one American death in this war be worth millions in the next?
In hindsight, we may all someday agree that this war was stupid and incredibly damaging to the US and the world in general.
Conversely, we may all someday agree that this war was justifiable and the damage and deaths were acceptable.
You can bloviate all you want about how wrong it is right now, but unless you KNOW what the Iranians were planning, and unless you KNOW how it all would have turned out absent this war, your indignation is pointless.
Maybe the Europeans will finally wake up and start importing cheap Russian energy again. After seeing that the US is unable to protect the Gulf countries in which we have bases maybe they will decide to cut ties with the US. Why be a target if the US decides to bomb Russia?
Bill you are getting more crazed by the day. I joined for investment advice which your associates are providing. You on the other hand are providing nothing but insane rants against Trump and the Administration. God forbid we find our country run by the socialist left wingers in your party. I cant understand your love for the left and your hatred for America.
Pray; Do tell us why you think Iran has not remained much as it was before? The leadership has been decapitated which might not bother the majority of Iranians who were sick and tired of a brutal theocracy.
Iran has fired its antiquated cheap missile and drone arsenal at Israel depleting its expensive Iron Dome missile defence system and have now started firing their modern hypersonic missiles which appear to be getting through.
The Strait of Hormuz remains closed costing the world untold misery which will soon be blamed on the US and Israel.
The ball is now in Israel and its proxy, America's court. Iran holds the cards and JD Vance has been stood up with no delegation from Iran to negotiate with.
America has been led by the nose by Netanyahu into making one of its biggest military blunders ever. All Iran need do is sit tight and wait for America and the world to get tired of this poorly thought out adventure.
See how that works out if Trump tries to obliterate Iran by using nukes!
Like Martin Armstrong says the United States won’t be able to shoot a fishing boat out of the water! We don’t have an endless supply of munitions and Russia and China are not gonna just sit still and let us do it!
No matter what your position on Trump is why didn't he just wait until after the elections in November to start a war with Iran. Maybe his advisors are incompetent? The major issue with voters right now is the economy and Trump's war is causing more inflation. Plus with the national debt exploding the Fed will have to fire up their printing press resulting in even more inflation.
What is better, “a slower, more dignified” decline or a more rapid one? I don’t know. Either way it is a decline, one we’ve been witnessing for the last six and a half decades. Postering may be how the game is played. The majority of us are merely spectators. I like neither panem nor circenses. I will just have to do my best to be a good slave like Epictetus and control my reactions.
That's it! Stir the pot Billy! Continue to pump out bullshit, rile up the base, serves you well as a distraction for the fact that this is suppose to be a financial newsletter but in the end all you got is bullshit DeNiro/Springsteen style political horse shit. Face it, you have lost your way - you can't possibly spend al the money you made so F it, go for broke with your newsletter. You already made millionaires out of Dan/Tom just in subscription fees. Now see how many you can keep vs. those that'll leave. Add that to your dashboard! (72,000 subscribers x $400) hmmm, life is good.

In response to your opening sentence, the answer is an unequivocal Yes.
And since the GOP will remain in control of the WH and both houses of Congress; it's policies will remain in place.
The longer he stays, the greater the likelihood of a Democratic sweep in the next election and very possibly in the following one

I get it. You don't like my opinion.
But surely you'll allow me to express it.
Better would be to explain why you disagree with it.

"𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙨𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮!"
What makes you think so many don't?
It's entirely possible to recognize the damage done while still believing it may have been necessary.
Here's the deal---not one person on this forum knows how this war will turn out.
Not one person here knows what Iran would do if it were to acquire a nuke or if it ever would have acquired one.
Not one person here knows if there would have been a better or worse alternative.
None of us know anything.
Anyone who comments about it is just guessing. Your opinion isn't worth any more than someone's opposite opinion.
This is why I generally don't comment about these things. I recognize the fact that I simply don't know and never will know until long after things have played out.
There is no guessing here, there are already things playing out that there’s no question about.
Just because we don’t know how this war is going to end doesn’t mean that we don’t see the damage being done now.
One American death in this war is too many!
You can think it was necessary , but the majority of the American population doesn’t agree.
You need to work on your reading comprehension.
Maybe if you used double exclamation points, someone might listen.
I am with you. Something bad this way comes. We shall see.
Bill you are getting more crazed by the day. I joined for investment advice which your associates are providing. You on the other hand are providing nothing but insane rants against Trump and the Administration. God forbid we find our country run by the socialist left wingers in your party. I cant understand your love for the left and your hatred for America.
Total Bullshit!!! Iran has remained as much as it was before! Come on, what are you smoking?
You might be right about some of which you lament.
There will always be those that disagree with current events.

However,, as a betting man I wouldn't.
I have more faith in the American military to clean up this mess...
-
Someone has to have the strongest military in the world.
Lucky for us!
See how that works out if Trump tries to obliterate Iran by using nukes!
Like Martin Armstrong says the United States won’t be able to shoot a fishing boat out of the water! We don’t have an endless supply of munitions and Russia and China are not gonna just sit still and let us do it!
Who said anything about nukes?
I believe the plan is to bankrupt the IRGC and allow the citizens do the rest...
They won't be sitting for much longer. Iran might just become the 51st State.
I might laugh at your absurdity but I can't .
hahahaha thats so funny....
The old boozer pounds the table harder every day.
Bullshit!!!
