What is stunning is there are felony crimes being committed right in front of us and there are no arrests, charges or concern. These times remind me of Christ's teaching. The end times will look like Noah's time. Lawlessness and turmoil all over. It frustrates us folks trying to do right and pay our taxes, go to work and teach our children right from wrong. Now, we ask our children not what they would like to be when they grow up, but who would they like to be? Does anyone else see these things, or is is it just me? When i read Revelation from the Bible, Babylon looks a lot like the USA!

Ohhh, yeah! I've been seeing the correlations between the Book of the Revelation of John to America since the 70s. But, everyone I've told about it either laughs in my face, looks at me like I'm crazy, or dismisses me as a religious fanatic.

Not only is the Harlot of Babylon, America; but the Beast will be an American president. I won't name him, but it doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to see who it will be.

The clock is ticking . . .

I suggest doing a word search in your bible. The Revelation of John was plagiarized almost in its entirety from the Prophets the last of which was Malachi.

Babylon is a metaphor representing any nation where religion, politics, and militarism has been melded into a single system of life. Persia, Egypt, Greek and both Roman empires and USA fit the definition to the tee.

"Come out of her my people" is a call and warning to Yahowah's children to leave religious, political, and military Babylon or suffer her condemnation.

If you're trying to figure out what Christians simple cannot grasp; The beast is in fact Christianity. The beast is not a person but a system called Judaeo Christian two religions Yahowah despises. The Towrahless one is on the planet now, he'll hail from the Balkans according to the Prophets.

Yes, I posted a link too CW's translations before. I've been following CW for about 20 years, he's grown from struggling with Hebrew to knowing Hebrew. For the last I'd say 10 years he's been full time 10 hours a day 6 and 7 days a week at the cause. His main focus is calling the chosen back to the Covenant and a close personal relationship with Yahowah.

Israel is a compound word Yish sara el, or "persons who strive or contend with God". In effect anyone who listens and acts in a right manner is Israel. Where those native born are Yahud or related to God.

All of this books have been revised many times over as new concepts are understood. His books are incredibly detailed and not for the casual reader. All books are free online, or can be purchased at cost, he does not accept donations, the books are available through Kindle for the lowest price allowed by Amazon. Needless to say he's not doing his work to make a buck.

Many years ago when he discovered Paul was in fact a liar, I asked "Where do you think this is all going to lead us?" His reply; " To get to the truth you have to be willing to go where the words lead."

Most people when faced with truth really don't want to know the truth.

Ayn Rand — 'The truth is not for all men but only for those who seek it.'

Yahowah states on the first tablet; His mercy is for the thousands who show love by listening and acting upon His prescriptions for life. A thousand is one in a million people.

Contrary to the claims of all popular religions, God did not come to save the world.

There's no cult involved, we all have our own opinions and walks in life most of us have never met. Simply the words reveal a different message than found in all English translations.

Good for you. But, it's always those whose pride leads them to think that they are better than everyone else, who are the most easily led astray.

Remember the parable of the Publican and the Pharisee? The Pharisee raised his eyes to heaven and thanked God that " . . . I am not a sinful man, like this tax collector, here." That sounds a lot like you.

Like the Publican, I admit that I'm far from perfect and I throw myself on God's mercy and ask for forgiveness. I beg God every day to help me become a better person.

Hi Don…no you’re not the only one ! There’s over 8million peace-loving people from every nation convinced we are in the “last days” of this whole WORLD system of things, not just the USA! I became an atheist at a very young age because of observing so-called Christians where I lived not acting like their leader Christ at all. They insulted and derided others who weren’t like them, and even went to war with each other (German “Christians” killing their brother “Christians” in England and vice versa. !) Did their leader teach them to kill their own brothers I asked? Of course I knew there must be answers , but where? Long story short, found this statement of Jesus (after he’d listed all the signs of the end for his followers to watch out for) “This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and THEN the end will come”- Matt 24:14. I searched for the religion that was obeying this command. Found them. .

As I was a cynical atheistic lawyer, I examined the evidence with a fine tooth comb then carefully observed the people who believed these things. (In all the countries I’ve been in). The ring of truth was loud. They practised what they preached, right down to their gracious speech patterns. No insulting others , no rants, although imperfect, they really tried to imitate their leader and King So, What’s this “good news “ then…Don? It’s on this website for anyone sick of hearing “bad news” … jw.org

If you want to know how Climate change can be effectively dealt with, don't ask anyone who needs funds to continue their research using computer models. Also don't ask anyone who thinks there are too many people on the planet. (Try googling the late Hans Rosling for his videos on population - UK Graduates were less well informed than Chimpanzees when he performed a 'multiple choice' test of the two to see who knew most re the population stats. Clearly the Chimps chose the marked 'banana' answers randomly, which doesn't say much for UK Graduates.) Nor ask anyone who thinks the planet is 'dying' or believes in anything Greta Thunberg says. IF you really want to know ask Bjorn Lomborg. Basically the planet couldn't care less it just carries on. The other thing to note is we are burning FOSSIL fuels. Thus the CO2 we are releasing is CO2 that was once in the atmosphere to start with, yet there was sufficient plant and animal life to convert it into biological carbon then lay down massive quantities of fossil fuel carbon. Finally the climate has always changed. Here in the UK we have a wonderful area called 'The Lake District' - very popular for tourism. Had we not had climate change, it would still be called the Glacier District, as it was glaciers that carved out the landscape, then they melted & that Millennia before 4x4's were invented. Then there was the time the planet got really hot, according to the BBC - 7c hotter. Mammals evolved!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/385SHpTG5M25Xr6G3FSMJTG/seven-things-that-happened-when-the-planet-got-really-really-hot

As Lomborg explains, Human Beings are problem solvers, we can solve many issues re climate change if we stopped listening to the religion like eco-nutters and listened instead to the sensible scientists.

Prof James Lovelock, former doyen of the Green Movement 'recanted' his 'alarmist views' on climate change and when asked why other climate scientists had not, he explained.

"I am an independent scientist, I don't need grant money to survive."

All you need to know are the lies scientists spouted about Covid. Particularly US scientists, whose private emails exposed their deliberate public lies and the reasons for them, including not supporting Trump who had initially raised issues, such as 'a Wuhan lab leak'. Once you know scientists can also lie, and do so not only for political ends but for financial gain, then you should take every pronouncement of Domesday from any scientist who benefits from Domesday, with a sackful of salt.

Expand full comment
Dale's avatar

Some of what you say may well be true. However, I must point out one glaring flaw in your reasoning . . .

Yes, Planet Earth did possess enough trees, marshland, open prairies, etc. to convert CO2 into plant material that was, then, buried and turned into fossil fuels. The operative word being DID -- past tense. That is no longer the case.

Human beings have decimated forests, the world over. Scientists recently declared the Amazon rain forest to be "lost." Humans have slashed and burned it so severely that it can never recover. It will become extinct . . . gone forever.

Most of the North American continent, as well as Europe and vast stretches of Asia were once covered by lush forest land. Humans have cut the forests down so that only a tiny fraction of forest land now exists, compared to what was there, thousands of years ago before humans invented axes, saws and chainsaws.

Humans have drained wetlands all over the planet. Cities of asphalt, concrete, steel and glass now cover over prairies, grasslands, and other land that once bloomed with life, smothering it to death.

Planet Earth no longer has the ability to convert all of the carbon dioxide that humans are releasing into the air, and convert it to plant matter that can be buried. Human beings and human overpopulation have disrupted the Carbon Cycle. That's something you never hear ANY scientists say, regardless of which side of the climate debate they are on. It's an "inconvenient truth" that no one wants to acknowledge.

I understand how ‘asset price’ inflation wipes away debt for investors - government print money which is used to lift assets prices while the debt remains constant (at least for the investor). However, ‘consumer price’ inflation does the opposite. The ‘inflation tax’ as Bill calls it leaves people with less goods and services for the same money. Business profits go down and asset prices fall accordingly - but the debt remains the same or increases because interests rates are now higher to combat inflation. I guess what I’m trying to say is this ‘inflation tax’ does not raise any money nor pay off any debt. It just makes everyone much poorer … reality just catching up with $50 trillion of wasted opportunities - if only it stopped there!

Hi Bill, Please keep in mind that Norway extracted the oil beneath the North Sea but it was all of us that burned it and have thus created the climate change. If there was no demand for petroleum, Norway would be just another fishing village.

I feel the pain of inflation just like everyone else. You write about inflation and make quite a nice living connecting the dots. Yes, the elites (and I assume you do not include yourself among that horrible tribe) do make the rules that we all live by, or try to live by. They profit and we sweat.

Has it ever been different? People have always had rotten leadership. Am I wrong? We suffer, they get richer.

You have become wealthy telling us about the wealthy's dastardly deeds. And I appreciate your work greatly. It gives me insight into what comes next.

You are far above the fray. I am glad for you. I am not above the fray. I am one of the great unwashed rabble that is born to suffer under the thumb of the elite.

I fought for my country. I fought fires for most of my life. I worked on a Kansas farm in my youth. I am the salt of the earth of whom you spoke so well.

I probably should hold a grudge against the elites. But I don't. I don't because as the world descends in chaos and pain I will still know how to be self reliant and survive. But the elite will not. Their money will not protect them from the coming climate catastrophes or pandemics or wars. Their kids will still get cancer and have less freedoms (or no freedoms).

The world that is nearly upon us will not just be painful to the lower classes. All classes will suffer. Not at the same intensity. But all will suffer. It is not any help to me to know this.

Billions of people are going to die in this century. Everyone will suffer.

That is the truth that overrides all the political clap trap.

For a while I believed that maybe our species had a chance to survive. But after a lot of research it has become clear to me that we are headed for species extinction. That means the elite will die of right along with us working class. Oh, we will have some great speeches and political movements to try to reverse the downward spiral of humanity. But in the end, we will end.

Don't believe me?

Our oceans are nearly dead. Our forests are dying and being burned. Our air and water are more and more polluted. Our food is less and less nourishing. Diseases are appearing that were never before seen. Animals are going extinct that support our ecosystems on which we depend for life.

The petroleum that everyone curses is the lifeblood of civilization. Without oil, billions will die.

Food depends on oil. All those plastics we hate and need, come from oil.

So, Bill, all the twisting and turning of the politicos and elites and the masses will make no difference in the last days.

What will those last days look like?

Well, like what you see. Shortages. Blame games. Nuclear war. Crop failures worldwide. Anger everywhere by everyone. Starvation. Pandemics, plural. More and more death.

Right now we see the rot as just isolated occurrences. But there are more and more of them and they are more severe. At some point, they will all connect like the giant wildfires we see happening. And the world as we have known it will cease to exist. There will only be one giant emergency engulfing the world. We will no longer be able to isolate the various emergencies.

They will connect and reinforce and overwhelm our civilizations worldwide. There will be too many hurricanes and fires and crop failures and supply chain failures. The reserves will be used up. There will be an extinction event that involves all of the species including humankind.

Now isn't that connecting all the dots?

What you see now is the prelude to what is coming.

But do not worry about it. You are in Ireland and safe. For now.

So enjoy your remaining life. That is what I am doing here in Hawaii.

Just keep in mind that you and I are living on borrowed time, just like all the rest. It gives one perspective.

Aloha,

Tom

The point of my letter was that we are killing our planet because we are billions in number and the ban on petroleum will not work. Civilization depends on petroleum.

Climate change is happening. Deny all you want. It is happening. The poles are melting. The tundra is releasing more and more methane. We are not just killing ourselves. We are killing many many other species. We are in the middle of a great extinction event right now.

Do some research. It is not a red state vs blue state thing. This is a worldwide disaster. It is not propaganda. Read the reports for credible science sources. Who benefits by scaring the population of the world? There are more and more climate disasters worldwide. Not just New Mexico. The great oceans are nearly devoid of fish because of over fishing and pollution. And acidification. The earth is not in trouble. It will, no doubt, rebound. In time. But we will not. We are supposed to have brains and are supposedly capable of deduction and reason. Things are progressing in the natural world that will affect us adversely. We are the destroyer of this eco system we call earth. Yeah, because we want an easy life and our toys etc. The current system will work until is doesn't anymore. And then it will crash very suddenly. You think supply chains are bad now. Wait ten years.

Yes, you are right about Brazil. They have let terrorists take over the pristine forests from the native populations and kill them outright.

But it is not about Brazil. Not really. What they allow is very bad.

But the problem is that we are demanding more meat and minerals and other stuff and Brazil supplies that demand. WE ARE ALL GUILTY OF KILLING THE EARTH. Look in the mirror.

That person is using resources faster than 10 African natives. Faster than Indians. Faster than just every person in the third world. We Americans have set a standard of living that the world envies and emulates. Yes, it is comfortable. and Yes, I am guilty as the rest.

If you truly want to do something to help save our world, stop eating meat. Sounds simple and it is simple. But eating meat is destroying the earth. I have not yet stopped eating meat. But I think it is time to stop. My stopping will only make a tiny difference, but I have to start somewhere. There are some good alternatives now. Better than a few years ago.

There is a long list of other stuff I am sure you have already read about.

It is daunting. I know. I am an old man and have taken from the earth for too many years.

My presence is a weight upon the earth. I try to give back as best I can.

I plant trees and grow a garden and travel very little. I use an electric vehicle although it caused a lot of resources to be used to make it.

It is impossible to get away from the fact that humanity uses up stuff and kills other species doing it.

I am sorry.
