My vote is to lose the new font used in the email messages. It has an Old School appeal and is easy to read on the printed page, but it’s murderously hard to read on the electronic page. My two cents’ worth...
The new font looked good at first but on comparing the 2, the old font is much easier to read. I only use my phone for reading, notherwise computer so not sure about there.
So my vote is for the original font.
And thanks for your writing Joel, always enjoy.
(Just researching the Mallmann grill, not available in Australia but his book is! Looks good)
Great, informative writing as usual. I'd say bail on the new font. I use Outlook When I reduce the width of the email message window, the lines of text do not wrap, forcing me to keep the window at full screen.

I prefer the previous font style.
What's up with the Courier Light font??!?!?! REALLY hard to read, especially on my tablet. PLEASE go back to a black font.
Font stinks - looks like a 1940 military type writer.
I compared and find the new font is nicer than the old whole in the Substack app.
