Hi Joel

My brother and I are residing in Córdoba, 3 1/2 months now, have attempted to make contact with you, but to no avail. We are talking about residency, at least until the insane northern hemisphere figures out what it’s going to do; nuclear WWIII and/or complete economic, personal and social collapse.

Could you share your “residency” friend?

We are also students of and often counselors on and in macroeconomic and geopolitical issues, sharing and teaching as we’ve traveled and resided in me, about 60 countries, my brother in about 25 now, both sort of retired.

We would love to sit down and enjoy steak and wine with you sometime!

I have also been a subscriber and fan of Bill for over 20 years now.

Hoping to hear from you,

John Gudgeon

Another great piece from Joel that I missed the first time (thanks for republishing).

"To suggest that freedom of speech be abridged, even in the case of “clear and present danger,” is to shackle both speakers and listeners to the whim of an interpretive body, a mythical, omniscient majority, pray to hubris and bound to err, to whom it falls to decide what, in fact, satisfies that particular threshold." -- Joel

This is so spot on and explains the Marxist/Leftist/Democrat zeitgeist that is swirling around us in the United States today. The M/L/Ds' hubris knows no bounds. The entire concept of "hate speech" is ludicrous because no one is preeminently qualified to "decide" what is hate speech and what isn't. No politician, bureaucrat (looking you Fauxci) or other mere mortal has the right or authority to issue such edicts.

Yet, the last nominee to sit on the highest court in the land could not (or would not) answer a simple question about Natural Law (a concept upon which our Constitution is based). Despite that, she was confirmed and now is a sitting Supreme Court Justice. Be afraid, very afraid of where all of this is headed.

So I liked number one yet I wish you would have discerned between free speech and outright lying. The Democrats say a scripted lie so often, it becomes the truth. Adam Schiff is a perfect example regarding Pres Trump and the Russian Hoax. Bob Mueller, the FBI and most everybody knew this was a lie and yet the let it go on for 2.5 years and $40 million. The Jan 6th is also a rigged game just like the 2020 election.

Outright lying is protected free speech. Everyone indulges in it, including you, probably daily.

Of course, most lies are innocuous. For example, to entice children to finish their meal, or to avoid offending the cook who prepared the meal.

Adam Schiff didn't lie about Trump. He simply sought assurance that nothing nefarious occurred. If the roles were reversed, then the same political theater would likely have occurred. Happens all the time. Even George Washington was hounded by accusations galore

What doesn't happen all the time is Jan 6th; namely a sitting president asking his vice president to circumvent the vote of the electoral college or urging followers to march on the Capitol which some did resulting in wanton destruction and several needless deaths. No lies here; actual events

JR: Thank you! None of the Rep. are going to agree with you. None obviously watched what happen on Jan 6th; but they still have a lot to say about it. They don't think it was wrong to riot at the capital. It was a cake walk and absolutely no one got hurt. No one said, "Hang Mike Pence"; NOPE never happened! That's our Republicans of today. They are still in denial. They have a lot of hate in them because they think they really won the election.

Thank God they didn't. They need to move on and get over it! Happy New Year.

Sure, of course it is to you. Propaganda always works when you don't want to believe something factual.

Although I disagree with nearly all your assertions, I will keep your explanations.

I will use them as a template to track the Court's findings justifying its decisions following the lengthy, contentious judicial proceedings triggered by the coming indictments of Trump's conduct in the waning days of his presidency

Note too that I oppose ballots by mail for all the reasons you identified. And, for the love of Mike, some official entity should bring to a end the Hunter Biden saga.

Maybe someone could do a film so the confused public, including me, can learn all the tawdry details how the son of a siting vice president exploited for recompense his father's high position. I'm sure his drug use and other failings will make for a squalid tale.

High Treason! This is rich stuff. I hope the truth will out just as I hope the long ago unsolved murder of JFK's mistress (sister-in-law of Wash. Post editor Ben Bradlee), which occurred while she was jogging along the Potomac, will be solved

Hi Mr. Roberts -

Sadly, if you are waiting for a movie or book from EITHER side to definitively provide the Final Truth on the 2020 "election", the J6 "insurrection" or Hunter's level of depravity and Treason (plus 'ol Joey's complicity), you will be waiting a very LONG time.

There is a TON of opinion out there about all of these issues. The thing is, there are also indisputable FACTS and detailed EVIDENCE out there for these situations as well. A person must be willing to put aside their hatred, conditioning and assumptions - while they take up the hunt.

Many of us here on the BPR boards have done just that - and reached conclusions to the point of CERTAINTY that what our "government" and "media" feeds the public about these issues is pure BS. That is why some of us post so vehemently - because we have ascertained Truth and it's not what so many have been led (and are being led) to believe. In many cases, the Truth is precisely OPPOSITE of what we are being told.

You want the Truth? It's not particularly elusive, but it does take an open mind and a bit of work...

Vote for No.1. Freedom of Speech, was written with Common Sense in mind. The common citizens to not need legal interpetation from politicians and over-paid lawyers for us to understand what it means

To add to Joel's wonderfully written expose.

The telescope thought by the authorities, as an instrument of optical illusions. Johannes Kepler put his reputation on the line to defend Galileo's observations against professors and priests, Kepler wrote an ode to the telescope, " oh you much knowing tube, more valuable than any scepter". Dogma never drifts far it appears, regardless of time and space. "Within the laws of nature nothing is too wonderful to be true" - Michael Faraday

Happy New Year

The difference of today's "free speech " versus the past is that the free speech advocates of today do not want to assume accountability for their their actions or words. If duels were available today as in the past, one would probably at least try to think before one spoke. But without accountability everything is permissible ! Without accountability we have no law and order !

You are a genuine student of the Papacy. I learned more about its doctrinal turmoil in your remarks today than I ever had for all other sources I've had occasion to read to date. Personally, I've often felt the reason the Catholic Church hasn't been for forceful and clear about its beliefs and policies is the innate compassion of its Pontiffs. Hard to lay down the law when you have a forgiving disposition
