With all the talk and ink there is never any suggested solution to the ongoing problems with elected presidents and congress. After a while the criticism gets to be old and nobody pays attention to what is said. For a great number of American the rot they found themselves in is going on and most of them don’t even bother to vote. When one gets to listen to sales pitches and complaints it dilutes the important content coming our way from time to time. Many vote because their brother is running for the office.

The presidential debates are a circus and those that debate are clowns.

The real arguments are never surfacing but rhetoric floods the air space. The media stirs things up to make the circus go on for a little longer then the show itself.

This last president just blows the lid off every kind of argument and reasoning.

Biden’s background is enough to make one wonder how the voters could have elected a man that represents nothing but a political hustler like his father was. Coming from a family of alcoholics he learned survival skills at any cost. He chose the Democratic Party because that is where the job opening was. He learned how to scout opportunities like a hungry wolf. He could not serve in the military because of asthma but he could maintain his position in politics for over fifty years. This alone triggers many questions. His son, Hunter, was discharged from the navy because of cocaine.

In this great country of ours people cannot find a candidate worthy of the position to be elected to lead the nation. We have to resort to sleazy candidates to lead this country astray. Perhaps we should think of importing one from China?

Our manufacturing has been exported, our currency is taking a huge dive, middle class being the core of this nation is struggling and we create a n energy Armageddon for those in charge to get richer. As individuals all we can do is to infest others with a need to focus where the focus needs to be. We need leadership who has the ability to lead, be knowledgeable in the domestic and international affairs and who has our country at heart. We need to stop arrogance on the international stage, threaten with muscles, make claims of superiority and pretend being the worlds police.

All self inflicted, purpose controlled demolition of America. While We The People(middle class), have been busy working, and supporting the Anti-Class, our corrupt government has been busy working for China, and doing it's job of destroying our middle class, and turning more into anti-class.

The world has lost faith in our fully proven corrupt banana republic, and most nations will side with whoever pays their leaders the most.

America is bankrupt, and our past four administrations have accelerated her death pace to our current demise.

It's not the dollar that has lost value in the world, it's our government, and that means it's people. We all deserve the government we have, even when falsely placed in power, as many nations have seen throughout history. If you don't like it, get rid of it, by any means possible(as we all witnessed from the left)...if not, live with it or leave it, while you still have a choice:)

There is no solution, it's too late, the game was fixed in 1913 by Woodrow Wilson a Progressive Democrat and the banking elites. Richard Nixon a Republican put the icing cut the anchor chain holding our in position just around the corner from Niagara Falls. It took a while but we're going over no matter what anyone does at this time. The banksters are well vested in gold and other hard assets while out of the stock market. They wait for the 90% markdowns that are coming, most will be in their ivory tower or on Biden Island until the smoke clears.

The solution is very simple, in unison all Americans should stop paying all Federal taxes, all fees and fines, and no one should go to the poles in 2024. Anyone caught trying to do so should be tarred and feathered. All government officers standing in the breach should be run out of town on a rail and their homes burnt down. Alas this is exactly what lit the flame of the American Revolution. America is too fat, fearful, and indoctrinated to save itself. For the most part no one has anything really to loose because the majority of the population are tenants, employed as hired hands on the banking farm.

Bill has not mention this fact: There is no real estate tax in Ireland. A few years back their government instituted a tax on real estate where in the majority of the population told them to F off, and they did. A few fools paid and were not given refunds.

Janet Yellen is continuing her path of destruction with new rules for the FSOC. If you are not familiar with the FSOC, it is a relatively new government committee headed up by Ms. Yellen that want to regulate business and be able to pick winners and losers through regulation and then bail outs. This is totally opposite of capitalism where individuals transaction are based on mutual benefit and does not involve the government. We don’t need the government limiting business or bailing out their cronies that make bad decisions.

I read you Bill , and yes in the long run the US dollar will loose is réserve statu, but really the yuan as a substitute ... when you look at their leader can you really trust them that over the week end they don’t devalue their currencies and in fact default . The Euro , with the « old Europe «  may the euro survive the next crise ? I believe that the us did wrong for a long time financially speaking , but no substitute in the horizon to replace the US dollar. Will the us doll loose against the euro the Swiss franc yes surely ag gold certainly but since I work in forex the us doll is higher ag Australian, new Zéland , Norway , Sweden, Canada , sterling etc etc etc and even the king yen is suffering ag the us because wrong policy and aging population... Bill sell us and buy gold and silver but not sure ag other paper currencies ... qui vivra verra

I imagine what Attila must have thought as he toured the Roman Empire realizing it was a shell of what it must have once been and ripe for the plucking.

How could anyone not feel the same about the US by venturing into any of our major cities rife with "no-go zones" (if you are wise)? Or to see the crumbling infrastructure which is quite obvious at our airports and train stations? Or just by watching various news stories on crime and culture?

I think the dollar is rapidly losing its status as a payment currency, but it is not losing its status as a reserve currency. To serve as a reserve currency, there must be a trusted sovereign bond market and some semblance of stability. At this time, no other country has such a fluid and stable bond market and the appearance of the rule of law. It will take years for another currency to replace the dollar as the reserve currency. Gold may do it sooner!

When our greenbacks come back home to America, what effect will this have on our economy? More dollars which are all worth less?

You have to wonder what happens, when you borrow money. To buy “destructible” goods like weapons which are shipped halfway around the world to be destroyed in war. Sounds like a Keynesian broken window approach to me.
