There will be more poor people that are lost than rich people, not because of the proportions, but because the poor have the same selfish nature as rich people; they simply did not have the opportunity to exercise their selfish nature to the same extent, due to lack of skills and circumstances. The remedy is easy - simply receive the life of the Son of God. All who do so will be happy no matter their circumstances. Yes brother Alex, growing up relatively poor, but in a very religious home, we realized at a young age that family/God/country is happiness. All my siblings are very successful in family and financially, due to that understanding. Our self worth was never based on what we made, but what we gave, and our children fully understand that value in our lives. Money may create comfort, but will never buy you a seat with our lord, nor happiness, unless you share it with those in true need 😊. Wishing all a happy and healthy Labor Day weekend 🙏
I'm well. Hanging out on a cruise ship all week doing the annual post-Summer vacation. Cozumel today, ho-hum - gonna hang by the pool instead. Been here done this many times but enjoying time spent onboard with family. Watching Hurricane Lee closely and it looks like he turned a bit north overnight but you never know. I'll be back on Sunday and was gonna hang at the inherited beach house with my brother next week but might need to head south to WPB to button down. We'll see.

We just flew back from Boston last night. We had a cool trip where we saw the Red Sox at Fenway on Saturday, the Patriots at Foxboro on Sunday and then the Eagles in concert at the TD Center Monday night. We'd never been there so it was a lot of fun. (We also took a guided tour of the Freedom Trail and learned a lot of history I thought I knew, but didn't.)

Sad but true, Bill. I watched the constant zero rates and figured it would stop because it makes no monetary sense and I knew without a single doubt that the debt would be painful and figured the politicians would certainly realize the problem. Boy was I wrong. It was just plain theft from the saver and small guy to the rich. Exactly what the politicians wanted is now obvious. I finally figured out what America's leadership is all about.
In 15 years (about 180 mths) time, some of these numbskulls will have quit this mortal coil and be perhaps food for worms or chosen to be dust to dust.
What a legacy to have to be known to have been hoodwinkers, bandits and outright thieves on a par with Jesse James and many other outlaws, in the eyes of many.
