Behold, these are the wicked; And always at ease, they have increased in wealth. Psalm 73:12

Don't think you are automatically destined for heaven, though. It's not riches that determines your ultimate fate; Job was a wealthy man, but he obtained his wealth honestly, and used it to help those less fortunate. There will be more poor people that are lost than rich people, not because of the proportions, but because the poor have the same selfish nature as rich people; they simply did not have the opportunity to exercise their selfish nature to the same extent, due to lack of skills and circumstances. The remedy is easy - simply receive the life of the Son of God. All who do so will be happy no matter their circumstances. Even the poor in the western world are rich, compared to people in the rest of the world. More verses on rich people here: https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Riches,-Ungodly-Use-Of. I should also mention that gold and silver will not help you much, either: They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed... Ezekiel 7:19. Needless to say, it's not the gold or silver that are evil.

Yes brother Alex, growing up relatively poor, but in a very religious home, we realized at a young age that family/God/country is happiness. All my siblings are very successful in family and financially, due to that understanding. Our self worth was never based on what we made, but what we gave, and our children fully understand that value in our lives. Money may create comfort, but will never buy you a seat with our lord, nor happiness, unless you share it with those in true need 😊. Wishing all a happy and healthy Labor Day weekend πŸ™

Hola Mr. Alex, Mr. Steve -

It's a true saying: You Can't Out-give God.

The more loosely you hold the financial blessing He sends your way, the more your hand overflows...

Thus the old adage, "Let go, Let God".

How are you doing Brother?

Hola Brother Dave -

I'm well. Hanging out on a cruise ship all week doing the annual post-Summer vacation. Cozumel today, ho-hum - gonna hang by the pool instead. Been here done this many times but enjoying time spent onboard with family. Watching Hurricane Lee closely and it looks like he turned a bit north overnight but you never know. I'll be back on Sunday and was gonna hang at the inherited beach house with my brother next week but might need to head south to WPB to button down. We'll see.

Hope all is well with you and yours my friend!!

Hola Mi Hermano,

In the end, it's all about family. Say hello to Nowhere Man for me (if it's the same brother-lol). That was one of your all-time great lines.

We just flew back from Boston last night. We had a cool trip where we saw the Red Sox at Fenway on Saturday, the Patriots at Foxboro on Sunday and then the Eagles in concert at the TD Center Monday night. We'd never been there so it was a lot of fun. (We also took a guided tour of the Freedom Trail and learned a lot of history I thought I knew, but didn't.)

I hope you're doing well, make sure you use that sunscreen. We can't have you getting "Buffetted".

I think it will be a presidential decree that will remove the gold from the public, as per 1933.

Current American Leadership (Democrat & Republican) both suck equally.

Both have destroyed this great country.

And both will RE-ELECT the same bums again and again!

Just watch!

Sad but true, Bill. I watched the constant zero rates and figured it would stop because it makes no monetary sense and I knew without a single doubt that the debt would be painful and figured the politicians would certainly realize the problem. Boy was I wrong. It was just plain theft from the saver and small guy to the rich. Exactly what the politicians wanted is now obvious. I finally figured out what America's leadership is all about.

Taxes are like a ball and chain but inflation, is like a knife in the back.

Inflate and die agreed.

Whew! Thank goodness, only the PCE up. At least Inflation is under control and safely in our Goverment’s hands.

I say it again: It’s not β€œinflate or die” it’s β€œinflate and die”. The only question is how soon the death occurs.

Hopefully never Tom, but unfortunately, death is guaranteed πŸ€”

Our individual deaths, yes. I think Bill is talking about the death of the empire and its economy.

In 15 years (about 180 mths) time, some of these numbskulls will have quit this mortal coil and be perhaps food for worms or chosen to be dust to dust.

What a legacy to have to be known to have been hoodwinkers, bandits and outright thieves on a par with Jesse James and many other outlaws, in the eyes of many.

Ever wonder about pillow talk & mental shenanigans, of presidents, spouses & cronies still here, when AI catches up after joining all these nasty black dots !

Probably will be before 180 months are up..

Oh Joy!

Oh Rapture!

Will the Farmer who has chickens, cows and a garden sell any of that for a piece of gold?

I doubt it!

Agree. Let the Government crash. It ain’t working anyway.

So no big loss there!

I wonder what State Governments will do once the Federal Government crashes?

AND will the Dollar be worth anything?

Expand full comment

The news of the federal governments death has been greatly exaggerated.

-Apologies to Mark Twain

It will happen - to all governments - just not anytime soon. The US is the only 900lb gorilla left, the last real superpower (the soviet union was reported to be a superpower, but never was). So don't worry, be happy. You can't do anything about it anyways.

Inflate or Die. Which way will The Feds chose this time?

Seems we are seesawing back & forth. Getting a little dizzy!

There is hope on the horizon!

Are there any solutions this time?

Dorothy had the ruby slippers and could have used them at any time, but she had to learn and appreciate their inestimable value. FDR told the truth only once in his life, but he was right when he said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Solution: we let the whole thamn ding crash and break the government. We either believe in our system, or we don't. It's government that is killing us. Best always. PM

Fed speechwriters will be busy β€œblowing smoke” at the State of The Union. And don’t forget the promises that will be proclaimed during the Presidential Campaign in the fall.

Watch them spend a lot of words on Foreign Policy like Ukraine.

Watch 60% of the voters vote for the same bums again.

Then go back to watching CNN and MSNBC!
