I was in the tomato business and it was disaster. Old farmer told me you only need to know 40 things but can only learn one a year! Sounds like Bill is on same path for his cattle and can start a new one in Bolivia

Bill, I was really touched by your openness on how you have your family treasures dispersed. I got a real chuckle about ‘’how close’ you are too a cattle raising ‘profit’’. I could almost see the bulge in your cheek …

I love that post!

Also enjoy how Bill talks about the remaining 40%....

Would be interested how the second 30% is divided though.... based on his writings, I would have thought that gold, gold stocks, cash and energy put together would make up a larger share of his portfolio.

Balance is so hard to find. Risk vs security. Strange times but you can eat the cows.

Probably at a maximum 5% of the world have the opportunity to ‘invest’, ‘gamble’, ‘punt’, ‘store’ a small or large amount of funds that come their way.

Most of 95%ers have to eke out a return from day to day living, toiling, begging or relying on others to stay alive for the next sunrise.

The 5% who have the capacity to play markets, use investment ‘advice’ or other mechanisms to make one new $,£,€,¥, that is worth more tomorrow than today are a weird global phenomena. We are a microscopic quantity, granted enormous powers, yet often lacking any integrity of anything other than self-focus, greed and lust to be top of the other 5% heap climbers.

When one of the 95% expires and becomes dust, they are then in death equal to the one of the 5% who expires.

Is ‘What are you doing with your money?’ the biggest question that 5%ers have to be focussed on?

As a global ‘Wealth’ advisory, with 100’s of years of wisdom, experience, data and facts to hand, are there some other more challenging, wiser and critical questions to ask and address today for tomorrow and future generations?

I seriously doubt Bonner (a Billionaire) is doing any of that stuff he mentions in the article. That stuff is like left overs for him, crum ideas for the feeble minded. Stuff that he probably dabbles into with the couch change he finds in the crannies of his sofa! Hahahaha! 😂

At one point Bill quotes Marty Zweig as giving sage advice, "Don't fight the Fed." Meaning specifically the Federal Reserve System, if I remember correctly. Later in describing what he is personally doing with his money he says, "We expect fossil fuel providers to do well as governments try to put them out of business." I personally believe that fossil fuels still have a good run ahead of them—fifteen to twenty years, but ultimately will fighting governments be any wiser than fighting the Fed?

Inglourious Basterds!

The SEC will never ever, and I mean never ever ever allow the stock market to crash again. Global economies would have to fracture multiple high grade deep layers of stock market protection before any cracks surface, and that is an impossibility, not a probability!

The stock market Protection Acts implemented in the 1930’s, 1940, and 2002 following the 1929 crash are weather proof, designed to keep the markets afloat, and nothing, and I mean nothing can overcome them.

What we are seeing now are dips and hiccups in a bull market, and not the other way around.

Another glorious day on Earf, 😂.

Many thanks! This is real information that I can think with, and identify with.

Safety is in the first 2, and we need that to keep our heads above water.

However, a few quirky, heart-felt investments add the kind of spice we like in our life. We and many of our friends are betting our lives, anyway, on the postulate that there is a loving, omniscient, omnipotent Saviour whose work and glory is a plan of happiness for each of us. Has that worked for us? Yes...and no. Every year we learn a little more, and we are not going to stop when we are getting so close!

So, how are you fellows doing with the Glossary and FAQs so we all can keep up with your team's learned language and counsels?
