Here's the source of all of our problems: if you acknowledge something, you are obligated to do something about it, or you look like a fool. So, we acknowledge nothing, and we don't have to do anything. That doesn't mean the problems aren't there; it just means we overlook them. Left unaddressed, the problems fester, morph, and increase until the whole mess implodes, and something else "becomes." We are in this cesspool of self-delusion by choice: the choice of accepting what comes and attempting to accommodate it, as opposed to facing the mess and actively addressing it. Along the way, we have invented ways of impeding ourselves; our so-called government is a prime example. Best always. PM

My all time favorite Calvin and Hobbs addresses this. It starts out...”It’s true Hobbs, ignorance is bliss...”. Later, as they hurtle toward toward their inevitable crack-up....”but if you’re willfully stupid, you don’t know any better, so you can keep doing whatever you like...” . I’ve got this one on my wall to remind me why the world is so screwed up.

Yes Bill, Vandals and Knaves at our schools also…… An alarming report has revealed that dozens of Chicago schools claim no students are proficient in either math or reading despite the state and federal government funneling billions of dollars into education in the Windy City……”funneling billions” while fat lazy communist teachers, administrators and ghetto mayors are getting rich, our children are getting violated, indoctrinated and assassinated…and really look at Lightfoot, and tell me she didn’t come from one of those alien UFO ballon’s they shot down 🤔. This country is truly a disgusting banana republic, run by the same corrupt scum as all banana republics. It’s just their nature, so let’s put them in charge 😳…democrats

Steve L. Yes sir and I’ll run by democrats. This is by design. When these kids graduate high school, and they will graduate, they will not know how to read and write. Now fast forward 10 years and they are literally unemployable. Do you know the answer why? Racism? Lol! They have perfected the scam to a T. Sorry voice text.

You don't know that our teachers are "fat , lazy communist teachers, administrators and ghetto mayors, etc. etc. If you think it's such a disgusting banana republic, then either get involve to improve it.. or leave.

Hi Dot -

Well, we keep voting against the domestic enemies who are the root of the VAST MAJORITY of our problems, and they continue to successfully steal every election of consequence. We are rapidly running out of options to excise the cancer that is the left and dimocrats before it is too late...

SE: The vast majority of our problems and your inability to accept that the Republicans are so perfect and that all/most of the problems are caused by the Democrats, is staggering.

You are entitled to your opinion. I just don't happen to agree that it's so one sided.

Hi Dot -

Well, we've been through this before. I agree that the Repugnicants suck as well, just not quite as bad. Also, the Rs are the only team that offers a tiny bit of breathing room to right the listing ship, if that is even possible anymore (IMO, it ain't.)

If we keep allowing the dims and domestic enemies among us (I repeat myself yet again) to continue stealing elections, we are sunk toot sweet. Just look at the last 2+ years of the traitors RULING your party having unfettered power through the total string-pulling of a dementia-riddled, diaper-filling, traitor to Chinese money, illegally-installed "president."

Inarguable FACT: The planned and coordinated destruction of America is well under way and your side is, at this point, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲...

SE: Unfortunately I cannot convince you that the Rep. lost, although it's been proven before. So, just continue to blame almost everything on the Dems.if that makes you feel better. Unfortunately, we are at an impasse; I know I'm right and you think you are right! Lets drop this subject...it's like beating a dead horse. Have a great day!

Bill, You mentioned if the President ordered his goons to blow up the Holland Tunnel or the San Francisco bridge, they would start impeachment proceedings. As President George W.Bush didn't have impeachment proceedings brought against him regarding who was behind 9/11.

BPR issues many great pieces on the increasing debt - which highlight the need for concern. If possible would be great to get some insight into how much of this debt is issued at fixed low interest rates and thus increasing rates are not much of a concern to someone with a 2.75% 30 yr mortgage or similar car loan. Obviously CC debt is a different issue after the 0 interest for teaser period. Thanks Rick

Check out page 26 of the report at the link below. 58% of publicly held US Treasury debt matures in the next four years. 83% of it matures in the next ten years. Publicly held debt was $23.6 trillion as of September last year. That's total Federal debt of $31 trillion, minus 'intragovernmental holdings' which are held by the Fed, Social Security Trust Fund etc. You will also see a chart there on the maturity distribution. A deeper dive would break it up by specific maturities (T-Bills up to one year, then notes of 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 years. The Bonds of 20-30 years maturity. From our understanding, most of the Bonds are owned by foreign central banks (Japan, China). The ownership of the Notes takes a bit more research and is both foreign (central banks and insurance companies and banks etc) and domestic (US banks, pension funds, insurance companies, corporations, and individuals).

Yes my sweet Dorothy, couldn’t agree more! My wife and I are looking at different areas of the Caribbean and South America. So many of my friends are doing the same and many of us will move close together as we do now, knowing we have power in numbers. It breaks our hearts and souls to see what has happened here, and to leave our America, but we all know it’s not America anymore, and we all agree bad days are ahead. Unfortunately my dear Dorothy, you and yours won’t see it coming, but hey, only the smart Jews left Germany when a mad man took charge, we have two parties of mad men…and women of course…good luck 🙏

Love you my brother! We don't always agree, but I love and respect you for what you stand for!

My family and I (family are my brothers I fought with) decided many months ago, to start our journey to our future. Unfortunately, we will leave many behind, due to their own decision's/choices, as sometimes we don't have one.

We are not abandoning our love, our America, but we are looking ahead for our families future.

You get it my friend, so please know we will Never leave our's behind, because it's not what we do...
