While 57% pay no federal income taxes, they do pay payroll taxes which fund about 40% of the federal budget . What is really unfair are the extremely wealthy folks who pay federal income taxes at an effective tax rate below that of the average citizen who pays federal income taxes!

Tim, good point. But the fiscal mess that our government has presented to us, the citizens, is really not about tax revenue, it’s about spending. Until that (which will probably never happen) is controlled, nothing will ever improve.

Wealthy and successful people just pass along higher taxes to the consumer by charging more for the goods and services that they produce. The consumer ends up paying the taxes anyway.

5.8 trillion dollar budget proposal, 1.1 trillion dollar addition to the national debt, the US dollar debasement continues unabated and there is no challenge. Who will be brave enough to tell the truth?

US President Lincoln: “I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. When Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.”

—U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864 (letter to Col. William F. Elkins)

Clearly, the misinformation on who pays no taxes reminds me of the welfare queens in the 2000 Presidential election. If you take information out of context, the results can easily be skewed to whatever you want. 57% of non payers of Fed taxes include millions of people whose only source of income is Social Security. Additionally, it includes millions who earn less than $ 30k a year. These people who are "untaxed" pay for government mandates through sales taxes, real estate taxes and payroll taxes. We cannot move ahead as a society unless everyone moves ahead. The immense income inequality destabilizes the nation. In our own self interest, if we do not take care of the people below us, they will take care of us.

I am a little perplexed; we have German type inflation, printing presses running wild into the stratosphere and we should “pack boxes” because real property is going to fall in the cellar.

If Biden were removed by 25th or impeachment, Kamala would get to choose her VP. Granted he would have to be confirmed by the Senate but the presidency wouldn’t devolve to the Speaker unless she left office before her VP was confirmed.

Take the Republicans with them to the swamp. The Republicans are scarier than the Democrats.

When corruption in government reaches the current level, the steps that must be taken to remove the corruption are neither "fascist" nor "communist" in character. Though they might be "illegal" according to those in power, the steps are more like a duty under this country's founding documents. And it is certainly not unlawful (under Natural Law) to overthrow tyranny. It is an inalienable right. Democrats and Republicans alike, at the direction of banker elites, have lead America down this path. It is up to Americans to put a stop to it -- or not. It would be nice (though dangerous) if the military leadership would clean house and restore the Constitution, but alas it is on the banker payroll, too. What's worse is that perhaps 50% of Americans are on the payroll via employment, subsidies, contracts, welfare (the poor), corporate welfare (the rich), etc. Who will rise up? The shrinking and increasingly impoverished and over-worked middle-class producers?
