Bill could you keep all this under your hat for just a short while longer? I've been selling all my rental units in Philadelphia, PA. The kind NY folks are paying 10x more than I paid between 2005-2007. Factoring what a lower level blue collar worker can afford the properties will have zero or negative cash flow for at least 8 years. I guess losing money in the rental business is old hat to these investors.
As an old mariner, I appreciated the nautical metaphors applied to Powell. How about a sea shanty to go along....maybe ”What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor?”

The US Government should create a new global agency to control cryptos and inflation, in addition to what is already in place. Call it somthing like The Cryptoflation Agency.
This process would allow them to print an additional 300 trillion new global dollars over the next 10 years without having to put it up for vote, thus alleviating inflation and preventing a global recession by pumping the money back into the system, the markets, economies and most importantly, peoples pockets, and then we can all live happily ever after. 😃 :-)

Some years ago our son travelled through Zimbabwe. He neglected to obtain for me one of the 10 Trillion Zim notes, hopefully forever ruining my chance to become a trillionaire!
If the current plan proceeds as Mark1 above notes, I may get another chance, and it won't be amusing.

If that’s in the works, the Treasury folks should call their opposite numbers in Zimbabwe. They’re rather familiar with that sort of project.
