I came upon this quote from V. Lenin recently which is I believe is a snapshot of the ideology western governments have adopted which in itself is a play on the quip: "If you can't beat them, join them". Comrade Lenin: "The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation". In today's context, replace 'bourgeoisie' with 'middle class' and you have the playbook of today's political masters.

A large part of costs for the average middle class American consumer is planned obsolescence of large ticket items. Some of this is wrapped up in global climate change laws. Instead of a 30 year HVAC system costing $5K, we have a 10-15 year HVAC system costing $14-18K. How can any family budget $15K every 10-15 years, plus other expenses? We just replaced our (35sq of shingles) roof after 22 years of life. I was hoping for $12-15K on a 35-50 year roof, but to get it with a quality install and guarantee cost $21K. Inflation is taking a real toll, and I expect people are pushing the lifetime of equipment to the max and beyond from now on. Washers, dryers, and dish washers come to mind as well.

Maybe I missed it, but Bill used to have a warning system regarding the outlook, flags or levels, etc. Where does he believe we are right now, or have we finally reached the high point?

Yes Bill,..."Consumer debt passes $17 trillion for the first time despite slide in mortgage demand"...Slide in mortgage demand for Americans, as Chinese and Indians are buying homes for bags of "Dollars" at an unprecedented rate...just another blow to our poor middle class, delivered by those with no class, no God, no country, no shit...

Actually, the destruction of the middle class is intentional. The anti-christ (or, replacement Christ, see https://biblehub.com/greek/473.htm) power of Revelation, the same power that in Daniel 'thought to change times and laws,' finds it far easier to manipulate the masses in a feudal type society, as existed in the middle ages.

One does not have to be a supporter of Marxism to realize a simple truth that relates to Newtonian physics. When someone pushes in one direction the other pushes in the opposite with the same force.

Russian revolution was perhaps the conclusion of many years of the working class being pushed to a point where survival became questionable.

America became frantic and enraged because of the idea of communism. It was not because it feared competition but because it provided the working class with an example on how to deal with oppression. If they knew the American constitution they would have remember oppression being mentioned in that phenomenal document. American democracy was put to test during McCarthy’s era. The elite started spewing their poison and the brainwashing became rampant. People started hating communism and Russia without a clue why. This goes on today and regardless of the end of the Soviet Union it continuous on and on.

Our demented president is one of the victims of the brainwashing process since he was born well after the revolution in Russia in 1917.

In my entire life as an adult I rarely encountered someone who was not inflicted with the enormous hate for Russia without knowing any reason and without any knowledge about that foreign land. Many could not point to Russia on the map or knew the first thing about that country. Brainwashing does wonders. Hitlers managed to do the same to his people and they followed him like a herd of sheep.

America the self proclaimed police of the world is pushing the button of war. We must remain vigilant and informed about the the elected government by the people for the people.

Bill, you might be correct regarding our system being stacked against the middle class, but I

think you are remiss in not listing ALL THE GREAT "things", the ruling elite of communism, and

socialism have given (done to) the PROLETARIAT. Keep up the good work.

The cost of living will increase, if the debt ceiling is not raised. The middle class will suffer and pay more, if the debt ceiling is not raised. If the country defaults, the middle class will get ass wiped. 😂 A debt ceiling increase will benefit the middle class more than any other group. To oppose such move is irrational.

If the debt ceiling is not raised, millions of hard working jobs will be lost, the poverty level will increase, wages will decrease, many businesses will go bankrupt and the end result will be chaos and a threat to national security. It’s a no brainier, Let Her Rip!!!

Do you want that to happen? The average person, probably does not.

Hahaha! Sweet meat pies, the debt ceiling will be raised as we create a Golden bridge of opportunity in the 21st century. Oh yeah boy! Trump Trump Trump! Wooo! 🤩
