Thanks for your insight into our financial cycles. Here in New Zealand our left wing Maori partnership is trying to wreck the world's best country and make us all evenly poor, thank goodness the public is finally waking up to this bloodless coup,Jacinda Ardern is another lying Trudeau and headed for that other corrupt world institution the U.N.

Great to see another kiwi reading the pages of Bonner Research! If only we could get more of our countrymen to do so... we would wake up a hell of a lot faster!

Never fear, there are more of us Antipodeans among the masses who do not acquiesce to the nonsense. I absolutely love BPR. Brilliant team. I'm stoked to have discovered such wisdom at the ripe age of 33. My nana also loves reading all Bill and Joel's missives, God bless her, she's 91, and sharp as a tack, and remembers most of the topics they conjure. But yes, I do hope NZ awakens soon.

I very much like your writing Joel ,and the pendulum watch is perfect. Without the government the pendulum would only have a short swing , it is our tax and spend politicians that cause the wild and destructive fluctuations . When 50% of your money goes to taxes we are in trouble. Thanks to

Bill, Tom, Dan and Joel Great job of helping me understand the mayhem of today . Stephen Denomme

I worked for Hewlett Packard in the 60's......Dave Packard became the Undersecretary of Defense. He put all his stock assets in a trust. He was gone about 3 years from HP, without pay, and came back and said that the Federal Government was too much of a bureaucracy to get anything done! He also liquidated his 'profits' in stock assets while he was working for the Dept. of Defense. If all politicians did this, we'd all be better off since they would truly be working for the people!

Sorry you don’t believe in the omnipotent Operator. We all, as in every single person, without exception takes one side or the other of Pascal’s wager. I do enjoy your writing but followed to the end, don’t you think it leads to emptiness and despair?

Thanks, Mr. McMillan... though in this particular context, I was referring strictly to an "omnipotent operator" controlling the economy and political realm. Best!

"Bitcoin block chain unnecessary and unwanted and is ponzi scheme snd suckers poker game."

Bitcoin and Blockchain are two totally and completely different things and I'm not going to waste time trying to educate someone who shows zero regard for accuracy and refuses to discover Truth on their own (beyond pasting this, which I am certain you won't read because you're never wrong about anything.) --

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/blockchain.asp

Your statement shows a complete and utter ignorance as to what the Blockchain actually IS and it's thousands of uses that will ensure accountability, precision, transparency and increased Freedom for millions of people around the world, in both their personal and professional realities. That is inarguable if one knows even the basic facts about how the Blockchain is constructed and how it functions.

But you do you PG. We have come to expect nothing less...

Bitcoin is “bad” as opposed to today’s world of fiat currencies 100% controlled by governments-banking cartels, whose value is continually drained away? It’s neither needed nor wanted? People didn’t “need” autos, strictly speaking--animal and steam powered transport worked--and I’m sure many a harness maker preferred the horse-powered world. The canard of drug and sex traffickers using bitcoin so bitcoin is bad is also unpersuasive. First, they’d be among the dumbest criminals (blockchain records transactions and law enforcement can discover the identity of the parties (IF they decide to)). Second, to extend your argument, since criminals also use phones and cars--as they do--these things are also bad and so presumably should be banned or restricted because bad guys use them.

It's clear from reading your posts, PG, that you are quite knowledgeable about a great many things. But based on this post it's also clear that you know very little about block chains, and the Bitcoin blockchain in particular.

1. The BB has NEVER been hacked. There are theoretical ways it could be hacked, but theoretical is the key word. There is currently no practical way to accomplish it.

2. Bitcoin doesn't even remotely resemble a ponzi scheme or a poker game. The comparisons are simply nonsensical.

3. As for criminal activity, there have been multiple analyses from multiple private and governmental agencies which have clearly shown that the share of illicit activities connected to cryptos is but a tiny fraction of illicit activities overall---in 2020 it was approximately 10 billion for cryptos vs. 4 trillion for fiat.

In other words, fiat is still, and will be for the foreseeable future, the medium criminals use to transact business. Decentralized cryptos (Bitcoin in particular) are not now, nor have they ever been, a serious problem.

We all need hope. The Bible foretold events that would signal that Gods Kingdom (heavenly government) is about to begin its rule over all the earth. Present world conditions match what the Bible foretold. The evidence is all there for the humble , open-minded, unprejudiced ones to examine or reject. Read how homelessness, unemployment & poverty , injustice, malnutrition & hunger, crime & violence, damage to the environment, war, sickness, disease and even the “last enemy “ death will be no more under this heavenly rulership. Only God has the ability to foretell this future; only God has the power to achieve this. It’s comforting to know that so far in mankind’s history, everything that has ever been foretold in His Word has come true so far. Nothing can stop the Creator of the earth from fulfilling his promises when he is ready. Remember a “day “to him is as a thousand years. So it’s not been a long time (to him) since the whole world became “lying in the power of the wicked one” He wants to help us because he is love. We can raise up our heads The time for real justice is now nearly here for people in EVERY nation. The earth will become a global paradise for humans to enjoy & inhabit, as God originally intended! Too good to be true? I used to be a proud, close-minded, prejudiced, atheist. I was also a lawyer. So felt compelled to examine ALL the evidence first before dismissing it! Maybe one or two on here might like to do the same ? It takes time of course, to sift all the evidence , and it takes a degree of humility to admit if we might have been wrong on a few assumptions and untruths maybe drilled into us since childhood once previously unknown evidence is revealed? But it’s worth the journey. One Bible writer compared this hope (of the rulership of Gods Kingdom government) as an “anchor for the soul”. I, personally, have found that to be so true. Just like an anchor keeps a ship steady during a storm, this solid hope for the future helps me weather all my problems. It protects my emotional and mental stability, and my physical well-being in spite of my great age!

So, Here’s a start for anyone out there who , like me, many years ago had lost all hope in the governmental systems of this chaotic world: https://www.jw.org /en/library/series/more-topics/real-hope-future-bible-promises/

May I wish you ,Joel , a peaceful and healthy 2023 I enjoy your articles very much.

I remember being in BA in 1988 and the austral currency was 7 to 1 to the USD. My hotel bill went up every day in local currency and stayed the same in dollars. The austral subsequently hyper inflated and was replaced by the peso which was pegged to the dollar at par. That didn’t last because the government couldn’t pay its bills without being able to print up money.

Wow. Joel you have raised the bar to new all time highs. Bravo. I can't wait to read the rest.

In the meantime, it would be a shame to have to choose between Betty or Veronica (when it's so easy to love and appreciate them both). Either way you win, since they are both so comely in their own way.

In the meantime, I'd like to get rich and vote in the opposite of the lumpinvestoriat who believe the mainstream media. Sure, deficits don't matter, and Bernanke should get the Nobel prize.
