When this finally is all played out you will see that the Feds have nothing and will not obtain a conviction (if they're smart they won't even pursue a prosecution).
The only way the Feds win their case is if a judge doesn't follow the Constitution, constitutional precedent and the applicable statutes (one of the ones cited allows a President to hold documents for five years after leaving office).
I would like to see Trump retire from politics and stick to being a kingmaker. Not because I dislike him (though he can be very tedious), but because he doesn't give us the best chance to win. His policies are winners and given the right messenger so will the candidates that espouse (and implement) them. Of course, you probably love the regime that's in power right now so you really don't care who the alternative messenger is.

The DOJ made the call, not Biden, to retrieve materials that belonged to the American people
It tasked the FBI to retrieve the materials that Trump did not return despite repeated requests to do so.
