Bill take a bigger view than you are, although I recognize you have a duty to you subscribers of which I am one. What assets in Ukraine are worth anything today. If America gets drawn into a Nuclear war, which asset will best hold its value. This is the most worrying period of my whole life and I'm 79 years old Australian, born in 1943 which was the middle of the second world war. The world is exposed, some more than others. Please focus attention on the greater good of mankind and not the preoccupation to protect ones assets. If the target can be any nation in the world then few assets will have any value. The time to be cashed up couldn't be more prudent in these times.

Yes the fed not serving average Americans that's for sure. Ironically gold could be the ultimate poison pill when they are done tinkering too little too late. Failing that, bartering works too, after socialists have had their say, when that of course, fails. No easy path back it appears..

Thank you for finally, not today but a day or two ago, speaking on "purchasing power" of the dollar as it relates to gold. That was helpful and I, personally, could use a more in depth review. I would also like to see a historical tracking of currency devaluation to income, perhaps in multiple countries. If income even closely tracks devaluation it would be helpful in managing an unmanageable debt load, and as I've noted before only helpful when budgets are balanced. A funny aside, I was in conversation this week end with someone who thought themselves well informed that spewed the "deficits don't matter" mantra. Perhaps in a macro kind of way you might comment.
