This is great.

Now we need to hear from you on the Saudi decision. Will MBS allow payment in Yuan for Saudi oil?

Great stuff, as always.

If only that was the greatest act of self harm carried out by the U.K. government!

Fellow Joel! Thanks for bringing this up. We renamed the Bonner Private Research podcast to the Fatal Conceits podcast a couple of months ago. You can find us on Apple Podcasts and Spotify under that title... or here, on the BPR Substack website:

https://bonnerprivateresearch.substack.com/s/fatal-conceits

All episodes are free. New shows every Sunday. I particularly enjoyed this last conversation with Chris. He's shared tons of excellent book recommendations with me over the years. A true omnivorous reader. If you like what you hear, feel free to spread the word. Cheers!

Joel, your comment "Not 19%, mind you; not 21.3%. Exactly 20%. Because, math" reminded me of all the marketing nonsense with precise % predictions of the fortunes we would all make and that I/we have been subjected to over 20 years from all of the publications that Bill founded and has been part of. Pot, kettle?

Thank you for the reminder of the infamous Brown’s bottom - it makes me proud to be British 😉

Old Pennsylvania Dutch adage "Too soon olt, too late schmart!"

If I had it to do over government might have been the best investment vehicle, simply make the opposite bet to whatever government decides is a smart investment.

Gordon Brown was certainly associated with the WEF, both during his tenure as British PM, and afterwards. I haven't searched the archive to see if he was a "Young Global Leader" as are the current cohort of Schwab minions -Trudeau, Ardern, Macron, Jakobsdottir, Merkel, Buttigieg, Ivanka Trump, Scott Morrison, Boris Johnson, etc. There was a prior arrangement from the early 90's, Gordon Brown may have been a bit old for recruitment to the YGL's. For English readers, I had always wondered how a provincial central bankster, Mark Carney, could be elevated to become Governor of the Bank of England. As Mr. Bonner says, our job is to connect the dots.

The "New World Order" and "Great Reset" were likely in planning and preparation that long ago, and Mr. Brown was setting up an early support for a CBDC- Central Bank Digital Currency. Note that this is a pillar of the Social Credit Score System now in place in China.

I would be interested in PG V's take on this, otherwise I will continue to suspect that PG V is a paid troll; I am always happy to have an alternative point of view presented but I prefer a respectful discourse.
