All smoke and mirrors Bill. All meaningless BS to keep the herd in line for slaughter. America is a declining country that has been purposely divided for decades just for this moment in history to break her apart. We have half of the country that work everyday, and are semi responsible people who just try to do their part for the benefit of themselves, family and community. We have another half who suck off government, and even multiply without being married just for a few extra fake dollars monthly. Totally irresponsible and only care about themselves and nothing/nobody else. With 20+million illegals amongst us now, the scales have been purposely weighted with the useful idiots and now America will pay its price for allowing it. Still have time to prepare, and this fact is what we should all be working towards. Like the poor Jews who stayed in Germany during the rise of Hitler, who didn’t want to leave their wealth and businesses could tell you, all the gold in the world couldn’t help them….

"And now... today... the Fed will add more ‘liquidity’ to a saturated, rotting system. "

Hiya Bill -

Your line so reminded me of an unavoidable fact in the Horticulture world. While water is essential, too much on ANY growing plant (tree, palm, shrub, grass) results in chlorotic foliage, rotting roots and a Fungal invasion. That's a bit like where we are now - the people are yellowing (cowards) and curling up, the "roots" (shared Culture) of what makes us the Greatest Country in the world are inarguably rotting and we have an invasion of a Fungus that has no idea what it means to be an American and seem to not care (based on their misplaced Faith in the dim party and ready acceptance of all the goodies our "government" showers them with before their feet are even dry.)

Most times cutting the water WAY back, removing mulch and turning over the soil around/above the root ball to speed drying, and the application of a Broad-spectrum Fungicide are enough to save a plant - different species and environmental conditions directly affect the results.

Sadly, it is usually too late to save the plant if the condition is not recognized and treated early in the process, particularly in regard to the Fungus...

What Warren and other globalists do know is that when they scream loud enough they sometimes get what they wanted. They don't seem to be screaming about the wonder of sending an overwhelming amount of Haitians into small cities, wonder why? Most likely they are just sitting back laughing at their cleverness.

MS13, TdA gangs, Haitians, etc., et.al. are the “collective” initium novum within the constructs of the Cloward-Piven Stragegy. The Democrat Party (symbolized by a donkey a.k.a. burro or mule) has largely chosen to adopt and assist in the strategy’s materialization.

The primary objective of the Cloward-Piven Stragegy is to create chaos with the (treasonous) specific intent of destroying America’s capitalist economy and replacing it with a Marxist (rebranded as socialist and progressive) system that includes guaranteed (welfare) incomes.

For the Democrat Party’s malicious treasonous dreams to come to fruition, Cloward and Piven recommended “a massive drive to recruit the poor onto the welfare rolls.” Now, arguably 22 million** non-detainee immigrants.

Cloward and Piven are NOT altruists, they ARE anarchists. The point of surging welfare claims is to enroll as many individuals as it takes to send the United States into an economic crisis. The untouchable (high voltage) 3rd rail of politics is what? The [nearly] insolvent Social Security\Medicare systemic entitlements.

You’re welcome.

Regards,

Mark

Fed has no choice but to artificially lower rates to just allow the enormous interest payments on the debt. Clowns like Warren just show how feeble minded our members of Congress are. We are definitely headed for more inflation and more likely stagflation like in the 70s.

Unfortunately, it is not that simple. If it was - lower rates to -1% and there is no interest on the debt and over many years the debt would just vanish. Problem solved. The Government is the problem - they are all bought and paid for. This isn't fixable - it is rotting and - sooner than later - it is going to flush America down the drain. Ain't goin' be pretty.

To my fellow BPR readers and subscribers, you are invited to a brief detour to today’s substack (silver academy) https://thesilverindustry.substack.com/p/from-coins-to-collapse-a-10-step?utm_campaign=email-half-post&r=36syrn&utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

From Mr Bonner’s astute subtitle: “The Fed almost always favors more credit at lower interest rates, resulting in more debt. The need to service the debt subtracts from the amount of money available for other things.” The Interplay of Money and Empire Decline Through History…that is the Silver Academy’s message. Enjoy the reading.

Bill, you need to quit bashing Trump. He is a braggart, albeit a successful one, and he doesn't understand certain levels of economics, but he, unlike you, is DOING SOMETHING OTHER THAN COMPLAINING.

After all, he belongs to a very small category of people......those who have been elected (twice). If you think you can do better rather than complain like a one trick pony, why don't YOU do something? I am personally tired of your crap. Try saying something positive for once in your fucking life. The only reason I am subscribed to your "Private research" is Tom Dyson.

Everybody loves a catchy tune and such a tune might even be wonderful if it can put the thinking caps back on a general public who do not seem to realize the very real dangers of spending money

that does not exist. After today's .5 % fiasco almost any politician I see starts me singing or humming an appropriate tune from the musical comedy SWEET CHARITY. Kinda like...The minute you walked in

the joint,....I could tell you was a man of distinction...a real big spender.... I can't wait to write in my VOTE for rep: THOMAS MASSIE !

Well, Bill, it is remarkable what an excellent column you can write when you keep your eye on the essentials and don't wander off into international politics, a subject you don't know anything more about than most of your readers. Of course, you had a pretty soft target in Elizabeth Warren, an example of what happens to a seemingly intelligent person when their fundamental values are based on reality-negating collectivist moral philosophy. Even in economics, reality is the final arbiter, and the more the facts of reality are ignored, the more destructive the outcome.

Hi John -

Your last sentence describes a FACT that today's dimocrat communists choose to ignore and will likely result in us not having ample opportunity to turn things around. Though lately I question whether the effort is worth it. May be best to let the left have their way and accelerate the total collapse that will be the inescapable result of their beliefs and policies.

Sooner that it burns, sooner we can purge and rebuild...(?)

Can't argue with your conclusion. During the 2020 election, I was telling my golf buddies that it may be a good thing if Trump loses. I believed his advocacy of stimulus payments and low interest rates would lead to inflation, although tempered by some of his better policies as far as being pro-production and pro-energy, etc. I thought if the Democrats got in power, they would be exposed for who they really are - progressive fascist nihilists. Well, the Dimos have been exposed and are much worse than I thought they would be. But it seems half the country is not capable of applying the simple rules of logic. The fact that Harris is not being trounced by Trump in the poles is remarkable, but, of course, understandable to some extent realizing the total bias of the mainstream media. So, yes, if Harris is elected, let the effing house burn down.... so we can rebuild, hopefully on a foundation of individual rights, logic, and the facts of reality.

I'm sure you have all read the following but I thought it a good and timely reminder...

"The highest art of warfare is not to fight at all, but to subvert anything of value in the country of your enemy until such time that the perception of reality of your enemy is screwed up to such an extent that he does not perceive you as an enemy. You can then take your enemy without a single shot being fired." - Yuri Bezmenov, a former KGB propaganda master who defected in 1970.

The whole of christian civilisation is under threat not just the USA. This is an attempt to usher in world government. Even though everybody thinks the vote doesn't count, we MUST still use it wisely. Each of us has a small part to play we are the low notes in the symphony whilst the high notes are played in heaven. Beautiful!

The economic doomsday scenario has finally arrived. Hyperinflation with a new wave of excessive money supply, yet goods and services limited by supply chain war blockages in return will devalue the dollar destroying all consumer confidence that leads to a Stock Market Sell of epic proportions. Hahaha, thank you for your service Comrade Kamala, laugh it up and order a .50 cent cheeseburger from McDonalds Mrs. Giggles, and enlighten us with your snobby pitched, I’m a minority VP running for office but I’m still better than you elongated shaky voice, “Can I please get that cheeseburger with extra drip mustard.” 😆

Hi Starboard Edge

I am not American, but a Brit, but all of these observations are just as meaningful and relevant on our side of the pond.

While I totally accept Bill Bonner's analysis of the situation, not to mention how a regular Joe Taxpayer should arrange their affairs, I haven't heard his prescription of how to fix it - how does the US, or the UK, stop this runaway train, before the inevitable?

I read a paper the other day, talking about 340% debt to GDP ratios, and was wondering, aside from the sheer lunacy of such a position, who did they think would finance that? And why?
