I’m surprised that Ol’Joe d’Corpse, hasn’t worked out, that he can solve the debt problem in a Presidential flash, like Nixon did.

So wakes his sleepy head, stumbles up & looks out the window, big Yawn but BINGO!

Yep! From today a US$ 1.00 will now revert to being called a US$ 0.01 - only one cent

All fixed stroke of the pen...

- Govt Debts not $Trillions any more.

- Gas at the pump only cost cents per gallon

- House costs go down to values not seen for years!

Love it brother.

I'm counting on something like that. Can't wait to pay off two mortgages with one pocket-full of coins...

So true brother. But the upside is we can pay off asset debt with the $$ THEY made worthless.

yep that is the one thing Bill and Co have NOT discussed, ie how many oz of gold and silver and platinum plus anything else you can collect will the world need to wrap all that debt into ANY hard currency .. there ain't enough gold yet dug up to cover all that printed FAKE paper because the price of gold will have to rise to usd$551,456 PER Ounce .. that means that bullion or diamonds or anything else's VALUE has been buried under $50+ TRILLION of ocean/DEBT .. do the numbers folks it ain't gonna happen !

I live in the suburbs of a large west coast city. I have 3 Walmarts within 10 miles of my home. Yesterday I went to the largest and best of them to buy a few items. It was closed, permanently, with all signage removed from the storefront and parking lot. No notice on the front doors. I then proceeded to the next closest Walmart, just 4 miles away. I had not been there in years. It was open but a complete train wreck inside, shelves empty and disheveled, the look and feel of a business going out of business. The 3rd Walmart was my go-to store, but I decided last month to stop going there due to similarities to yesterday’s store number 2. I’ve lived here 43 years. This is new. Supply chain issues? Walmart is, perhaps was, a $400 Billion dollar a year business. Every day it feels like there is more and more that we are not being told.

Expand full comment

That's surprising. Did you ask why? When a business in my area goes out, I always try to find out why. Could be that there were too many walmarts in the area. Can you say which state or city?

so we headed south and west as part of "manifest destiny" and ended up down here but half of this continent will be under water again as it was before the last Ice Age .. that why all the high mountains here in the south east have sea shells embedded in them .. its all part of a much larger cyclic movement, that we little smart ass two legged ants think we have all the answers and know it all .. but we don't eh .. just intellectual infatuation of a species most of whom don't even spend their allotted 26,000 days above ground ..

The local Walmart where I rarely appear has few or no inventory issues. They are building a new RCMP palace almost next door, but there is still some constraint on theft. Reports I have read (mostly from The Epoch Times) indicate that the US catch and release programmes for shoplifters has rendered the retail model nonviable.

Those with adequate dollars have Amazon Prime, so you are seeing another example of the working class being starved out.

By 2030 they will all live in 15-minute cities, will own nothing, and be happy.

I suspect that most BPR readers are doing our best to avoid that outcome.

Within the confines of the under passage, the wire runs through sectors of steel box switches. A ticking time bomb awaits the surprise element. The bodies move in the night, walking into a fire pit when the earth opens up and the ambush ensues. Trickery burns the goats of parlor. When the earth splits and the fire from hell overtakes those whom walk at night, for the light follows the darkness.

The US will never run out of money, but the money will run out in the US. 😂 Inflation is on the brink of the 2nd wave, when the Fed’s hold the interest rate steadfast and bring it down to fund the mechanical surplus of the Eastern Front. Inflation must level at 25% and chaos will finally manifest on a daily basis. What we see now, we will not see then. True panic and financial pain await retirement funds, for that is the type of money that sits untouched behind the thick walls of the global institutions. That’s the money that will first be utilized to cover the wartime expenses of the elite. Hahaha

I believe the Fed will raise a half point. That will create the slow down we need to correct all the bubbles created by free money. Sadly, All the major financial institutions holding the paper asset entitlements we supposedly own have been allowed to pawn them off for their own purposes (leveraging /derivatives) and the legal structures are in place for all of those collateralized securities and deposits to be executed upon without further recourse, rendering all of us unsecured creditors of the institutions that are in fact not too big to fail. It's going to rhyme with the 1930s, but bank reopening and gold confistication/revaluation part is instead going to be reissuance of currency entitlements in the forms of CBDCs. At least that's according to what I've read recently about the proliferation of (worldwide) coordinated UCC securities laws and the legal allowance of collateralization of deposits at major banks, and our securities entitlements held with the brokerage clearing houses. All they really need is some matk-down/ margin call calamity to precipitate the springing of this trap.

Expand full comment

A substantial conflict will bring on a market collapse, leading to the introduction of

a CBDC, and penury for all. Perhaps forced purchase of war bonds to keep the "show" on the road. That should soak up any remaining bank deposits, and physical gold held in "secure" storage. In OZ the favorite word used by the "government" was mandate !

Dear Mr Bonner,

independently of your contribution today, I have just found an article in "Cato", a German monthly journal, which may be of interest to you on the problem of living together with the so-called indigenous population of South America.

Title: Winnetou's poison dart

Cato Magazine for New Objectivity

Issue 6, October/ November 2023

Pages 40-45

Here, author Alex Baur refutes the narrative of the good indigenous man.

Alex Baur , born 1961, lives and works as Latin America correspondent for the Swiss magazine "Die Weltwoche" in Peru and has been married to a Quechua Indian woman for 42 years.
