Looks as if many things are coming to a head, whatever that means, in the 2nd half of 2023 - FeDNow in July, new BRICS currency backed by gold in August(de-dollarization gaining steam), liquidity crisis at full throttle due to vanishing Covid money, more banks on the edge sure to fall over it.... so many converging issues and many unknowns and unk-unks(unknown unknowns).
Would love to see a joint essay by Bill, Joel, Dan and Tom on your outlook for the 2nd half of the year and in particular what is your view of the new BRICS currency and what is the best and worst case scenario for the USD in the next year?
We really are just coming to Jesus moments, in understanding what the various impacts of the pandemic are, including realising WFH working in some other joints, (well so we are told) is more efficient and saves commuting waste & fumes, etc, so why have skyscraper office towers, Dudes?
When we all started to realise also, that the ‘free’ economy of the West, is now so manipulated by forces hard to control, the passion and drive to thrive waned and gloom & doom in the media took over every waking hour, if we let it.
Come on folks we can do better than this surely?
Even at just 75, I ain’t about to give in and let my residual span be dictated to by idiots & thieves.
Fight back, rattle a cage and debate, never miss an opportunity to push the boat out.
Dear Authors, Fast John here Commercial Property Hmm. You dont see Joe's Bid to stay in the now gray house do you. Joe will buy the vacant properties from Democrat owners with a cash bonus for those selling above market rate for a percentage returned for Campaign Donations the properties will go to the homeless, Migrants getting first Dibs. Republican owners will be get pennies on the thousand dollars of real value for their property if more room for migrants is needed if not well all is well just the same! In Joe's eyes Its Win Win Win Win Remember losses for Republicans and the American people are Wins for Joe Incorporated! Enjoy
Bill, I like you. I do. But your dislike for Donald Trump is so deep it sometimes deceives even you from the truth. Interest rates were low during B.O.'s administration. My husband and I purchased our current home in 2013. Our mortgage interest rate was, and still is, 3.3%. A full three years before Pres. Trump came into office. The lowest it got was two years ago under "the big guy"- 2.2%. You know the Fed has a mind of its own. President Trump did not control the interest rate.
Penny: I don't think Bill purposely dislikes Trump or Biden. He just tells it like it is. He knows who controls the the mortgage interest rates...The Feds. You can thank them when rates are down and curse when they are high...It's the Economy which, unfortunately, they have most of the control.
There is so much commercial building going on in South Central TX it makes you wonder who in the world is going to occupy all the buildings. I spend quite a bit of time in FL as well and the same thing is happening there. Huge buildings and strip malls. In addition to that are thousands of new homes being built. I can't figure out where all the money is coming from and worse yet, how we will have enough water for everyone.
I like the 'cage fight' principle for exactly the reasons you give, and have espoused fights between principals or their champions so as to spare the rest of us for decades already, though I'd like to propose a solution to a problem with such matches.
The problem with matches is that I think it highly likely political foes would have worked out a deal before the match, as to who won and lost, and how the spoils would be apportioned so that they both win while the taxpaying electorate still loses - as this is exactly what the sleazy politicians would do in advance. One only has to look at the way politicians continue to get their bribes today after the Abscam scandal slammed the door on them accepting brown paper bags of $100 bill payoffs. Now they get their bribes by ridiculously profitable speaking engagements that were promised while they were still in office, for doing whatever the briber wanted. This is why so many of them get so filthy rich after they leave office.
My proposed solution is that once a match challenge is made and accepted, that the terms of the match are set through a vote by the electorate as to whether each challenger can choose a champion to fight for them, or to fight in person, and how the fight is to be conducted - till defeat as decided by a referee or to the death. And I mean literal death as in give them both swords and to hack away at each other until one is chopped into dog food.
This would offer the rest of us guaranteed benefits, such as sparing us the attention and sales pitches of so many charlatans, and some entertainment in advance with the hope of more to come when the next challenger arises. And if one challenger would have been as bad for the rest of society as the other, the fight to the death would at least have improved the gene pool so that we can hope several millennia from now, the planet would actually have better people in general. And that would give us all something better to look forward to than an everlasting diet of our own deaths and taxes.

Its the timing...
They’re overdue for one of their chats…hint, hint.

I had to read it three times to understand what you said but I agree
We are getting sandbagged by 21st Century brain control, purporting to be super great for better lives for all.
If not careful and rebuked, it will be our Valhalla, rather than anything else.
We have to keep this ‘Screw You’ movement alive and kicking goals.
Fight back however we can.

Trump’s problem (one of them) was he tried to do what he promised and the Deep State wouldn’t let him.
There's a rumor that The Bonnernator is challenging the winner of Musk vs Zuckerberg.

Inflation is here to stay. Expect the Fuderal Reserve to “tread water” for 15 years.
