I remember Trump saying he would go over the government with a fine-toothed comb looking for assets to create income or sell. I think Elon Musk might be given a role in that. What about refilling the strategic energy reserve as a sovereign wealth fund? Those higher 60% tariffs on China are to target electric vehicles made in Mexico and China. Lower taxes of any kind usually mean more jobs in the real economy and higher income to the federal government. I see a big difference between the candidates, even though one doesn't check all the boxes the other checks none. Bill, at times you write like you are suffering from cognitive dissonance like a Democrat. Or are you wanting to say nothing by beating both sides of the bush so as not to offend?

There may not be 'a dime's worth of difference' between the two candidates when it comes to spending, but there's a whole lot more to governing than just the monetary policies. Cackles would be a disaster on so many levels while Trump at least has a brain that works and we stand a chance of surviving.
