Thank you so much for correctly ordering the acronym. In my public school teaching career in last 20 years, first there was diversity. Inclusion followed after some time. But equity? Only--as I remember--since perhaps 2018. So D I E is the only appropriate spelling. Reversing the order of the last two letters implies that the orderers themselves realize the truth of their own evil nonsense, and cannot bear to see it.

I’m feeling worried Bill. I’m 82 and always thought I was a woman. (A man with a womb?). Over a period of 20yrs 7 human beings emerged from said womb after growing there. (I’ve no idea how they got there by the way). Please let me know if any man (?) …you know, the guy with the penis and no womb (?) has ever had seven baby human beings emerge from his inner body. I’d like to exchange notes. Love your writings Bill and Joel. Much appreciated.

Hmm. I am 72; 3 live beings issued from my womb--a number of others got going but didn't reach the finish line. Oddly, the man whom I call 'husband', who carries a penis beneath his pants' fly, never managed to produce more children for us from his own internal equipment.

I don’t see anyone else looking in the Bible for Jeremiah 20:11, so here it is: “But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.”

Now let’s look at the at the accompanying verse, Jeremiah 20:12: “But, O Lord of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.”

If Bill didn’t see any threat from these friendly, gun-toting Christian nationalists, Bill needs to read both verses.

Just the thought of a liberal tries these righteous folk. A guy like Bill might be perceived as a liberal. In that case the friendlies might be thinking, “If you open your liberal mouth we’ll gun you.”

I have many friends and associates in a few states who either approve of open-carry or openly do it. Without exception, you would be safer with them around than without.

I grew up in British Columbia, then lived several adult years in Texas. Never did I feel safer in Canada than in the USA. Rather the opposite.

That's just my personal experience.

Incidentally English is the defacto Esperanto as it is taught in almost all schools in the world! And all countries strive to attain fluency in it! But as a Canadian I find American English 'vernacular' to be of poor quality in the main!

For example a very high percentage of you folk pronounce the number 'ten' as 'tin'

and often as oftin, when as whin and so on! it is amazing how many words have 'en' in them or as you say 'in'! Men are Min; maybe that will please the pronoun-raping peoples!

Take note and you will see and maybe notice yourself mispronouncing 'en'!

I figure 70% or Americans do!

Language has always fascinated me. At the age of 48, I made my first business trip to China and became a student of the language. I admit that I can neither read or write the language, but Hanyu Pinyin uses English letters to convey Chinese characters and intonations. My last trip there, in 2011, required no translator for my daily routine including living arrangements, food, and transportation. The Chinese got it right at some point in their language evolution. There are no pronouns for she/her or he/him in Mandarin. They use Ni for you, Wo for me, and Ta for he, she, and it. Problem solved?

Petard.

Mr. Bonner notes the incongruity of using the plural "they" in referring to singular humans.

Although he has previously explained his usage of "we" for his singular person, I still find it a bit jarring.

"We are not amused" has always seemed a bit self exalting to me. I've assumed that the Queen was referring to the divine right of kings (queens), her near kinship with the Almighty. As King Henry said to Sir Thomas More in A Man For All Seasons, "I am the king of England. When I pray, God LISTENS!"

I like the reference to Jefferson including women in his use of "all men are create equal" - unfortunately he did not include his slaves as being in that group.

Slavery was a construct of the times. The White race were the first in the world to abolish it. I could go to Libya today and buy a slave. You know why? There are no White men there to stop it.

Hi Worm Farmer-

Your correctly-stated facts will NEVER be acknowledged because to do so would immediately preclude the ability to define oneself as a "Victim" in America's "Free" society...

Much agreed. Every day people of color flood into this country. If it were so racist why would they come? Plus the data does not bear out what the left says. The average black family makes 43,000 per year in America. The average white family makes 66,000 per year in America. Here’s where it gets a little dicey for the left. The average family from Ghana or Nigeria when they come here they make $69,000 per year. The average Asian family in America makes $81,000 per year. The people from Libya make more than white people the people from all over Africa make more than the average white family here. Do you know why? Because they come here to work and not protest about white supremacy which does not exist. They are too busy working 80 hours a week while putting your children through Harvard. All the rest is BS. When the black lieutenant governor of Virginia was elected last fall she said that she came to America for opportunity and she found it!

Women were not politically equal in Jefferson's time either. I suspect that he meant what was quoted.

I am 81, have traveled alone in remote areas of South Asia and Mexico, have never carried a gun, and have not felt the need to carry one. I like guns as tools, but I don’t feel any need to carry them for protection. I think too many people in the United States are carrying guns needlessly, out of insecurity. Carrying a gun can get a man into more trouble than not carrying one. Cross the river into Mexico with even a cartridge in your pocket, and you could unexpectedly find yourself in a world of grief. I lived on the Rio Grande for 25 years. The risks of getting caught with a gun on either side of the river far outweigh any protection it offers. That’s just my opinion, of course. Others are free to carry if they want to. I’ve seen how the Mexican. police operate, and I don’t want trouble with the law on either side.
