The predicament, described well here, is a world wide phenomenon. Bill’s primer is also a good explanation of why the powers that be concluded that the entire system needed to be “re-set”. They love to blame the reason on the environment, food, energy mismatched population growth. The real reason for the ‘unsustainable’ future we find ourselves facing is them, it’s the staggering and foolish profligacy of our overlords for decades, all part of their scheme to make themselves filthy rich.
I've been saying for 20 years that the primary problem the US faces is too much credit or too much printing. It is the cause of the tremendous growth in corruption. It is the cause of why the US has a president like Joe Biden or even Barrack Obama or Don Trump. All corrupt in some sense or another but primarily because the leadership has been obfuscating what credit is and the damage it can do. Virtually no one and most likely most Congressmen, women, don't understand how debt occurs and how it is damaging the country i.e. the savers or the productive people motivated to build themselves a better life for themselves and their families.
This was an overt play to destroy a country. Who could order and execute such a plan? He had to know that a country with constitutional law was too weak to stop it. How do future freedom-loving people avoid this?
Unfortunately, the public didn't "nod off". It had no clue what was going on and most had no options. The public is struggling with day-to-day life. The elites/politicians know this and will keep kicking the can down the road until the US$ blows up. The banking cartel and military industrial complex know this and have bought the politicians. Corruption is everywhere. And when the can blows up, the proles will struggle to survive at all. Those in power do not send their sons/daughters to "fight" in all these foreign wars. They know - most proles are ignore (not stupid - there is a difference) and the media works hard to keep the proles that way. Just is - it isn't going to change this time. The word of the year should be - PREPARE!
