"𝘞𝘩𝘰 “𝘸𝘦” 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘢 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 “𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺” 𝘢𝘳𝘦."

Speak for yourself, O well-insulated, out-of-touch, irrelevant billionaire. It could not be MORE obvious:

"𝙒𝙚" are the people that actually BUILT this Country and are responsible for its continued existence - y'know, the kind of people who get up everyday and put "hand-to-plow" by being Productive and actually making the world a better place through our thoughts, words and actions. "𝙒𝙚" are the ones that respect our Laws, Traditions and Neighbors by always being willing to help a stranger, do the right thing or right a wrong even at personal expense - all while abiding by the Laws as passed by our duly-elected Representatives. "𝙒𝙚" are the ones who care about our Families and Communities - and WILL push back when our "government" and "leaders" decide that the immigrant is more important than the Citizen, the "teacher" is more important than the Student, or the criminal is more important than the Victim. "𝙒𝙚" are the ones who Honor (and even Worship) a Higher Power, realizing that "𝙒𝙚" are NOT God and that not a single one of the people we see around us is an accident - "𝙒𝙚" acknowledge that each individual is made in the image of God and is worthy of Respect and Dignity. "𝙒𝙚" are the ones who remember and understand the excellent Documents upon which our Nation is founded - "𝙒𝙚" remember what it means to love our Country, believe in what our Traditions represent and "𝙒𝙚" are willing to fight against the forces that want to see our Society overthrown and all Patriots put to death. "𝙒𝙚" don't condone violence or murder simply because we disagree with someone and can't successfully dispute their argument, nor do "𝙒𝙚" tacitly support such evil by displaying a glaring silence with regard to the scum among us who publicly and vocally dance on the graves of the assassinated. "𝙒𝙚" are the people who got the United States to where she is now - and "𝙒𝙚" are the ones who will save her from the "theys."

Sorry to say it, Little Bill, but you have firmly shown us which group you fall into.....

You just said it best! Thank you for being so articulate in explaining why some of us choose to believe that we can save this great country. The only thing we need is more people understanding that we can do it. With God’s help, we’re going to get to a better place and we can’t do it without everyone believing in the concept. And …Thank you for defending my position!

Bill, Can you even write anything anymore without showing your TDS? IMHO, we didn’t sign up and pay for your political viewpoints which is akin to how entertainers seem to think we pay for a concert but then get to hear their liberal BS rather than being entertained. I have followed you for years and sincerely appreciate your financial acumen. PLEASE can you just go back to writing about that and stop thinking that we (collectively) actually care what your negative political opinions are. The corruption and evil in government (and elites) has always been part of this world and you’d have to be dead to not know that. I personally think that you have no clue as to what has really been going on in our world and ignore the extent of escalation in the last 60 years. “They” haven’t been silent in their intent. Paul Harvey identified it in his famous “If I Were the Devil” way back in 1965. Your era as well. How novel that there might be more going on than meets the eye to rid us of those that are destroying us and that seems to totally elude you. I choose to look on the positive side and think there is actually a possibility that there are those behind the scenes that have been working to this end; for YEARS. I’m not alone in this thought. Respectfully, I suggest you start reading some of the other posters on SubStack that maybe can prompt you to delve deeper. Try Burning Bright or Badlands Media: Devolution, although there are many more with the belief that there are forces of good in play to give us back what has been taken. You can widen your eyes if you’re willing to open your mind to something other than negativity.

I watched the Charlie Kirk tribute. It was long, many speakers. I am a believer; I was gratified. There were 100k, We, there. I define that as “salt of the earth” that produce good. I am skeptical, withheld my opinion on whether or not some speakers were wearing halos or horns.

When the trumpet sounds, we will know. We can know them by their fruits. It is a choice, God or mammon, it is actions not rhetoric.

I am glad Trump is President, it is interesting; he might have a plan that might not work but, at least he has a plan.

I like America better already.

There were no rioters, no violence and the widow forgave the killer.

Christ is “The way and the truth,” and “The truth shall set you free”, and give appreciation and peace. Only a true believer and keeper of the Word knows that.

There is good and evil personified, spiritually and in humans.

To put on the Armor of Christ, you need righteousness; righteousness and truth are the answer to all things.

And, the human brain needs help, inspiration.

Just because you are absolutely convinced your view is the Light and the Way, doesn't make you right. But it does make it impossible to consider there may be a crack in your logic. For positives - let's see: 1. Did the Ukraine War end on Day 1?; 2. Has the U.S. deficit been cut?; Is the Gaza genocide been stopped?; Is the US$ becoming stronger?; Does the world trust the U.S. more now?; Are relations stronger with Canada and Mexico?; Is the world closer or further from nuclear war? Just a few - the list could go on and on and on.

Frank Westmoreland's avatar

Mr. OL' LSO: So you supported VP Harris for POTUS Nov. 2024? And you supported the Democrats taking control of the House & Senate Nov. 2024? In other words, you support a continuation of an open border to enable tens of millions more illegal alien peasants to pour into the U.S.? And an immediate mass amnesty which would provide citizenship (with all sorts of govt. aid) and voting rights to 20M illegal alien peasants, 98% who would vote for unlimited amounts of additional govt. aid? You support trans men in women's sports, locker rooms, and restrooms? You support an increase in gun control measures, onerous regulations on private domestic businesses, & fascist tactics like Big Gov. working with Big Corp. to continue on-line suppression of conservative viewpoints? (Google had to stop this now that the GOP is in control.) You support shipping even more good jobs overseas to authoritarian-run countries? You support a law enabling abortion on demand right up to birth? You support multi-national treaties promoted by authoritarian countries? You support even more govt. control of health care so that talented doctors and dentists have to treat poorer patients, forcing middle-class patients to stand in line behind these poorer patients, while rich leftists buy their way out via concierge health care? All these would have occurred had Democrats taken the WH and Congress Nov. 2024.

My point this that because of all the U.S.-based, good-paying jobs shipped overseas for the past 27-28 years to authoritarian countries that work and pay their people like animals, the U.S. Fed has had to step in and keep employment up (or keep unemployment down) in the U.S. by directly or indirectly creating trillions in debt via interest rate reduction and QE. This has caused the debt-to-GDP ratio to rise over those years from 35% (1998) to over 100% (2025). So the US. went form having low debt and low unemployment in 2000, to having huge debt and low unemployment in 2025. So shipping jobs overseas was a disaster. I read an article that indicated that the so-called tech revolution only replaced about a quarter of manufacturing jobs shipped overseas.

So in 2025, with so many U.S. jobs now depending on enormous debt to keep them propped up, the GOP would be committing political suicide to start trying to balance the budget by slashing the debt, because as the debt is reduced, so are jobs. This is the pickle that the U.S. is in. Look at Argentina recently. Pres. Milei was able to cut debt by a bit, but now his debt cutting has been overruled by the Argentine Congress by enormous numbers. In some cases by 85%-90%. So that means his own supporters are terrified the folks they represent will lose their jobs. So his party and aligned parties would be pulverized in the upcoming elections. Voters around the world, not just in the U.S. are hooked on debt, mostly via their jobs. So debt reduction has to be very GRADUAL over a long period of time. The Left has shown no inclination to ever cut debt. They talk about taxing billionaires, but billionaires are the main supporters of their campaigns, and would just move their money overseas. And if the Left cut the military budget, they would not use the money to reduce debt because of all the military employee and contractor jobs lost. The Left would simply hire ten million more social service workers and increase more govt. aid to poor and lazy Americans to obtain their votes each election. More free stuff.

So Pres. Trump and the GOP are trying to do what they can to hold onto power by yes, increasing debt, BUT also trying to stimulate the economy via tariffs, tax cuts, rate cuts, regulation cuts, energy independence, etc. Do I want more debt by supporting their plan? Of course not. All this debt accumulation is terrible. But considering the alternatives, as stated in my first paragraph about the Left, this is the best, most realistic, alternative plan. This is especially so when considering continued open borders and mass amnesty with the Left in power, which would destroy the U.S., and almost certainly cause it to break apart, with the South and Farm Belt leading the way.

Frank, I applaud your effort. However, this ol' LSO is not a democratic - never have and never will be. Just because someone doesn't like Trump's policies or his attitude, doesn't make that person anti-conservative. Jumping to conclusions isn't the way forward. And, I find it hard to understand how increasing the debt and using tariffs/sanctions is going to help anybody. I get it - you like the TACO Clown because he is a bully. I get it you hate the left. I get that too - I think the left are nuts too. But Trump's actions aren't going to make America Great Again. Just the opposite - he is accelerating the demise of the U.S. hegemony and has the US$ tanks so shall the U.S. Trump along with all the administrations probably back to JFK, have forced the world to understand the U.S. is a war-mongering country and not to be trusted. Just look - what gave the U.S. power is the petro-dollar and now that is history. With today's technology our military isn't the mighty stick that Trump and the neocons think it is. Look at well that worked out against Yemen. Failures is all our numerous wars have been since Korea. One right after another. But - warmongering we do. So, it isn't others destroying America, it is America doing it to itself. The vast majority of the world is turning away and EU has become a immigrant slum with the economies crashing. Soon at least the UK and France are going to request a bail-out from the IMF. Unbelievable! You can smoke Trump's hopium if you like. I'll remain a cynical conservative and not drink the kool-aid.

We can "hope" that Bill is not correct about what Trump and the two "Stevens" are doing with our economy, but there is logic in his argument. The debt is still totally out of control, and I must admit to doubting that Trump or anyone can devise a plan to bring it under control.
