What a mistake to give the fantasy of the Santa story any time or credence! Santa has been one of, if not the most successful and influential tools of man’s enemy satan, the devil, to usurp glory away from Jesus Christ. Satan is a mocker and liar, he’s unable to create only copycat. The lie so many people tell their children of how Santa watches over them knowing and monitoring their behavior and rewarding them accordingly with some kind of fantasy gift giving and delivery system is such a bad joke I can’t believe anyone would to promote it in any way. Especially telling lies to their own children. No thanks, my children know dad always tries to be truthful to them and we believe in our Father God’s true story of him giving of Himself through Jesus to gift us the promise of life eternal beyond this world. Ask yourself, what kind of fool would fall for Santa?
P.S. : Please add an EDIT feature, Bill....because I was interrupted while typing....and now notice I left incomplete my second sentence, where I wanted to say "...my Russian-born wife. and I" (treasured your daughter Mariah's...performance.. Let me add that my Russian-born e treasured your daughter Mariah's palpably heartfelt and superbly executed performance....which, allow me say as a veteran of 27 years' simultaneous interpretation {from French and Spanish into English} at the "United" Nations, shone not just lyrically, but also in terms of impeccable pronunciation.
Footnote: Thought you should know....that the first time I clicked on your link to "O Holy Night"....what came up on my screen instead, for the first 2 min. 50 sec. was, improbably enough, a "Preparedness Hero" ad, featuring illustration of a so-called "fire-extinguishing blanket" said to be not only far easier to use than a spray extinguisher, but also much more quickly effective. Coincidentally, they seemed based in Wyoming. It came across so persuasive, I started looking into it forthwith....only to be startled yet again by the following Better Business Bureau scam warning https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker/lookupscam/646308. To say the whole episode yanked me back down to earth, HARD, is a bit of an understatement. Still, alerted to at least the possible existence of such a blanket, I plan on doing more research.
