I don't think Trump will be able to accomplish what he wants in his 4 years. The Dems are going to do as much damage to America as they can until Inauguration Day to spite Trump. I remember when W Bush beat Gore and teh CLinton Admin removed all the "W" keys from the White House keyboards, just childish. They don't care about the 99% that will suffer. Evidence of this is biden finally allowing zelenski to escalate the war with Russia leading to possibly WW3. Why didn't he do this before they lost the election, we all know the answer to that. Its simply to make Trump's task of bringing peace and stopping the deaths that only enrich the relites and zelensky that much more difficult so they and their mindless minions in the media can score points against Trump..

Well, Bill, your rant against DJT continues in earnest. At least you have quit picking on poor Kamala [you know you secretly voted to DJT, didn’t you]. Nevertheless, DJT is around for the next 4 years, if they don’t kill him in the interim, and you will have plenty of opportunity to take cheap shots at him. I’ve said this before, Bill, but once again: “How about dropping your disdain for DJT and give us perspective and advice on what you predict will be consequences of the upcoming administration. Do you think chopping off the Education Department is wise? How about other major cuts like in the Energy Department, Transportation, etc.? If any of these happen, what consequences might we expect? Any investment opportunities or reactions might we consider? You know, stuff like this that might actually have some positive impact on our financial status. Additionally, you mock the DOGE effort. Do you see any reality in cutting $2T from the federal budget? If so, why or why not? Do you think this is a scam just to get DJT elected or is there something positive to come from Musk and company’s promises? Do you think the debt will be reduced by their promised cuts or that that nasty DJT will just spend the extra money on other stuff? Frankly, I see lots for you to discuss with the proposed changes in government, and little to be gained by you just continuing your diatribe on DTJ. Come on man, give us something besides vitriol.

For some REAL insight into "what's going on" & what to expect from Trump's agenda & much bandied about Plan #... check out Adam Taggart's "Thoughtful Money" interview with Michael Every or <X@themichaelevery>. Very smart guy IMHO talks about Mercantilism (which has been around for several hundred years) & Balance of Trade (2,000 yrs) & is about not only Tariffs, but it's a 3 legged stool of Tariffs, Monetary Policy, Interest Rates (FX) , and TRADE. He also goes into the question everyone should be asking themselves (not only us but the Trump Secretaries) which is "What really is GDP?" If you think about the changes coming both positive & negative....you will understand the importance of this simple question. Hint also look at Balance of Trade & LOGISTICS...being particularly impacted by MAGA.

Sounds simple, but it's not!

True. Not so simple. But in My mind simple is simple. Get rid of 99 percent of government and thing s become really simple. Then win , win deals will come. Freedom and liberty will take place . I see that in one hand money comes in and the other hand money goes out. Usually some where in between a little money stays in My "mattress". Sounds to simple ,but it is the elite that like to keep You and I under thumb. Will DJT be able to do this? One can only hope. But as has been said on the pages "hope" is not an investment!

Hi Dottie -

It really seems to go well beyond that. BB has literally NOTHING positive to say about Trump. I can get that before the Election (maybe) - but with all of the specific Policy actions and Personnel selections we have seen since 05NOV24, there is really no reasonable excuse to remain so very, very negative. Bill doesn't need to sing DJT's praises, but for him to not even acknowledge the necessity, positivity and feasibility of some of the stated Actions to get us to worthy Goals (not to mention the People onboard the effort) - well, something is SERIOUSLY amiss here...

Despite all the recent criticism of Bill he really nails it with this writeup. Just perfectly in my opinion !

Trump read the vast majority of the American populous in a clairvoyant fashion. He put together a brilliant team which should be able to dismantle the leviathan Deep State if ever it could be dismantled at this time in political space. But will it be dismantled? The Traitorous Democratic governors of failed states don't want to give up their lucrative and carefully constructed empires of elite disbursement. Who would, as they amass millions, of easily funneled money in their direction? They still have 30% of society wearing masks and willing to send their children off to war as true believers. Hey it took them years to build this well oiled machine so their certainly not going to give it up just due to their children. It is their God-given right to everyone else's money.

At the same time Biden gives Zelensky permission to launch missiles at Russia. I can see the Davosians sitting back with a bourbon this evening. These people are greedy psychopaths and no one expected they would stop their gravy train just because they were voted out of power. They might have to double their swiss army protection to 4000 troops next Davos congregation. Expect more absurd cards to be played. The irony of the DOGE name should inspire artists to create masterpieces that sell for millions.

So there are some clairvoyant investors that see what Bill sees, Warren Buffett being one of them. Sort of a strong recommendation for the Big Loss considering the best investor in the world puts his money directly out of the way of the Big Loss "possibility". It was considered note worthy when Warren put 125B out of the way but then he raised it to 165B and now again to 325B. Maybe a couple of the "always keep your money in stocks" Wall Street parade might take notice? Certainly with Wall Street's CFPlanner crowd supporting the "always higher" crowd the bull might carry on a bit higher. You know "It just needs a trigger" but I've seen situations where there was no apparent trigger in my estimation.

So when the lava covers the homes of the FOMO crowd it might just trap the participants inside, to be found by posterity. Which will most likely will completely miss the financial aspects of archeological analysis.

As I noted in another reply, Bonner does make some good points today as you note, but only when the upcoming Trump administration is not involved in his comments. Once he goes over that line, it's pure TDS - totally unbalanced, irrational, and a mishmash of incoherent thought - all for the sole purpose of trashing anything Trump. So, we will have to see what Trump does and evaluate it in a balanced, rational and coherent way. Trump has a mountain to climb for sure. I don't know if he is capable of climbing it, but I would say that looking at his cabinet appointments, he is on the right track. Will he follow through. Stay tuned as TDS Bonner would say.

Yes what will actually happen? I suspect and hope Bill is bringing attention to the difficulty of the situation the US is in. Something like this has certainly never been solved before, this amount of debt, and given the history of Congress it only seems like they will spend more incessantly. Furthermore my personal guess is that the debt will collapse i.e. stocks will collapse before Trump provides a solution. More likely that a stock collapse will come soon and the only "solution" will be to drive debt higher due to a society that desparately wants more spending artificial or whatever but more. That's what happened to Hoover.

Just a note about the Israelites and their journey into the promised land. They did fight the inhabitants of the land and conquered them. Why did they defeat them ? Because they were more evil than the Israelites, and a promise is a promise. These people, the Israelites were to be a "showcase" for lack of better words. Our Creator would teach them to be Holy and just. But like mankind , they thought they know better. There is more to this than what meets the "eye". I will not go further than this as this points out the folly of not understanding Our Creators plan.

I am long TSLA, BTC, SOL and many others, however, in a nod to the doom and gloom Bonner Team, a investment advisor yesterday pointed that NVDA is now worth $1 trillion more than the entire German stock exchange. This news sent a shiver down my spine. He thought this was a good thing.

For those not old enough to remember, the Japanese market had a single stock (NTT) in 1989 worth more that the entire Germany stock exchange. Germany was the leading export country in the world, a title it gave up in 2009 to China.

After this peak, the Japanese market decline 80%. 35 years later and the Japanese market is still lower than it was in 1989.

NTT was valued at $367 billion in 1989 and is valued today at $90 billion.

Buyer beware.

It's always "different this time." Yes, NVDA is a cutting edge AI powering company not a Telegraph and Telephone company, but this may still be a case of history does not repeat but rhymes.

"Why does the left hate America and Americans so fervently" you ask. Ayn Rand had an answer many decades ago - she said that they "hate the good for being the good". In other words, they hate virtue, they hate productivity, they hate success, they hate perseverance, hard work, etc., and explain it away as privilege or as luck, or as anything that does not require any effort. They do not give a flying f*ck about the Bill of Rights. They are philosophically collectivists, not individualists, and believe in the "Common Good" - which in reality means the good of some at the expense of others and also means that any particular individual can be sacrificed for the "common good" because the "common good" is what is important, not any particular individual. Hence, the carnage under communist, socialist, authoritarian and fascist regimes where millions have been murdered so that the nation, state, or society, etc. can benefit (supposedly). Under these regimes, the individual is disposable.

I'm the first to admit I suffer from extreme negativity bias when it comes to the U.S. Government. The problem with negativity bias is you end up manifesting your own destiny. To my knowledge we've never had a President bring something like DOGE to the table. This is our only option to proactively get out in front of the steamroller. Four years of Harris would have been an unmitigated disaster. Realistically speaking, Trump was our only option. Trump has my support, but I'll call him out when he ventures off the reservation. American's are celebrated for their tolerance. However, tolerance has a couple evil siblings; indifference, and indecisiveness. We always wait till we're at the precipice before reacting. DOGE is the only proactive option we have to get out in front of the oncoming credit crisis. Yes, the odds seem insurmountable. If Trump can deliver on just 25% of his promises we'll be way ahead of the game. This will give the country the taste of success and give them something to build upon.

Judging by the critics of Trump's administrative nominees he's off to a fantastic start.

The time for being friendly and social is over. Every stupid thing the current administration does between now and January 20th needs to be called out and exposed to the American People so they don't forget. The same group that has been torturing us the last 4 years, want to rub our faces in it as long into Trumps's term as they can. An of course as we all know, DJT will be blamed for everything after 1/20/25, by the same group.
