Methinks that the money going to Ukraine is to be distributed to all the politicians from US going over to pat Zelenski on the back for doing such a good job. Remember the Biden connections, both "big guy" and son, are recipients of rather a large sum of money from the country. And why not let Mitch and Nan go over to get their "fair share" as it is known. All you hear from the elected idiots is, "we must preserve our democracy." There is not a more democratic institution on planet earth than a free capitalistic market. Yet the idiots in charge tell us we can't practice free market capitalism in America. They tell us we need regulation so they can protect us from the bad actors. Then they use the regulations to put their fat thumbs on the scale to enrich themselves, family, friends, and Tribe. Is anyone really surprised that the supposed protectors turned out to be the bad actors? If so, then who's really the idiot?

About $9 billion of the $40 billion will be used to restock the US weapons stockpile which has been depleted by giving our weapons to Ukraine. This makes sense to me. The other $31 billion is a mishmash of "do gooder" project money that will probably end up in the pockets of corrupt Ukrainian officials.
When the Ukrainian was born, the Jew cried. An old saying. Ukraine is high end military strategical land. The only way Russia can defeat them and claim victory is with an all out full scale assault. It’s probably going to happen somewhere down the pike, and eventually lead to another world war.
Inflation, bankruptcies, unemployment, stock market crash, global pandemic, terrorism, ect...are all preludes to the coming world war.

There are shady oligarchs in Ukraine as well as Russia. Some of those Ukrainians are arms dealers, and the West has just arranged the chance of supplies they never dreamt of. Unfortunately, they may sell some of those arms to people who could use them on us, and shoot down, say a couple of American Airlines flights, or even do something else. Congressmen and Senators should be more careful what they wish for.
