The red metal is red hot
Copper is a red hot investment theme again. But is now a good time to buy it? And if so, how?

In the image above you’ll see that not only is Chile the largest copper producer in the world, it is also home to the two largest copper mines in the world. But if demand from renewable energy and AI is anywhere close to accurate, the world’s going to need more Chiles to keep up. And even then it won’t be enough.
The US Geological Survey reckons over 700 million tons of copper have been mined since the dawn of human history…but the highest estimates are that we’ll need another 1.4 billion tons in the next 50 years to meet demand from renewables and AI. That’s on TOP of existing demand for construction and power generation.
Copper is a red hot investment theme again. But is now a good time to buy it? And if so, how? I’m sure this will be one of the key themes at The Rule Symposium for Natural Resource Investing in Boca Raton, Florida.
I’m writing to you today to remind you have less than two weeks to register if you want to attend in person. I’m ALSO writing to remind you that, like me, you can attend this year’s show virtually and live by registering today. Please note that BPR receives a small commission if you register for the Symposium through our links.
Until next week,
Dan
PS The image comes from the work done by the very talented people at www.visualcapitalist.com. Their creative designs help you visualize some of the big investment themes we also cover at BPR. If you’re new to Bonner Private Research , please take the time to listen to (or read) our Private Briefing with Rick Rule in early May. We cover uranium, gold, copper, and energy (among other things).
Dan great news about copper as the real 'gold' of the digital age .. just wish Bill would have encouraged us to invest in Copper Bars these past 40+ years ..!
