I don’t know Bill, instead of basing every article on hypotheticals, maybe wait and see what happens in the next year and then base your opinion on reality 🤔 These two most popular and successful businessmen will be a refreshing change from the decade of incredibly corrupt, Woke, never creating jobs or anything constructive-Obama/democrat destruction he and his corrupt minions have assaulted our nation with. Let’s take a deep breath Bill, sit back and enjoy your time with family, and try to survive your time in Baltimore this Christmas season 🎅🏼🎅🏼🎅🏼

IMHO BB comes out with these wild and provocative statements simply to evoke outrage and a healthy debate in this comments section.

He writes the piece, hits the send button, rubs his hands together, chuckles to himself quietly and waits for our response. Nothing wrong with playing Devil's advocate when it results in good debate.

The "Message" has gone out and our deceitful host is all in. That message being to drive a wedge between Trump and Musk. It is so very obvious and infantile, in the past 24 hours EVERY mainstream "media" outlet has used the expression 'President Musk" in relation to the Continuing Resolution fiasco. I predict Trump and Elon will eventually have a falling out, but it won't be over this issue. Do better Bonner.

"...𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙖𝙭 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙙𝙙, 𝙣𝙚𝙩, 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 $1.5 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙩 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧."

Please stop repeating this 𝗹𝗶𝗲. It reflects "projections" by a bunch of pointy-headed government "accountants" whom you would typically deride relentlessly (when they don't agree with the Bonner narrative), and is NOT Historically accurate regarding what happens when taxes get cut. Serious people know that Revenues go UP, a fact those "experts" (including BB) conveniently ignore. That has been verified with evidence MANY times on this board.

PS - The 38 "Republicans" who voted NO on the "clean" CR are PATRIOTS. They are COMPLETELY against increasing the Debt Ceiling and have taken a stand. Yes, they support Trump but support the Country more. Bill should have been singing their praises in today's missive - after all, their stand is PRECISELY what Bonner says we need to do, ad infinitum - that being STOP SPENDING. Yet all we got on that front today was crickets. Good job, Bill. Trump's position is disappointing, but not surprising. His biggest flaw is overspending and most of us knew it when we voted for him. If the perfect is the enemy of the good we are truly screwed.

I'd also note that this situation is showing us the KEY difference between repugnicants and dimocrats - some R's can and DO buck their leaders when those leaders make dumb decisions or push for harmful policies, 38 of them in this instance. You will NEVER see that on the left - no matter how degenerate, destructive or insane the policy may be, they will ALL get behind it. Which side is actually a Cult??

Thank you brother Starboard! Sure, Trump may continue the spending spree, but instead of wasting our hard earned tax money on Ukraine and democrat laundering schemes, Climate scams, corrupt social programs, 20 million illegals and democrat sex change operations, Trump will build our infrastructure, economy and security to support Americas interests over total globalist/WEF/democrat cult bullshit💩💩Making America the power of the world and Great Again 🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

There is also some validity to the notion that the Trump Agenda is going to need Day 1 Funds to hit the ground running (see Homan's assertion that ICE needs 100,000 detention beds immediately, yet currently no $$ allocated.) However, our side has the juice right now - that necessary money needs to be peeled off of existing wasted tax dollars, not an increase in the credit line.

Nothing about this fight will be easy and the Domestic Enemies among us will throw up every roadblock possible. For example, I read where the Border Wall materials that WE ALREADY PAID FOR (and were stolen by the TraitorJoe regime to auction off) have been removed from the Auctioneer's site, with a promise given that they would alert Texas if the material is re-listed. So maybe, just maybe, we quashed that bit of Treason, but there are many more severe landmines for Trump and America First being laid in secret right now.

And all courtesy of the dimocrat party. We don't despise their scumbag leaders and ignorant sycophants enough...

Again, like you suggested to Bill - maybe you should wait and see. It may be that Trump will continue the path he was on in his first try - over an additional $6T to the national debt and did little for the infrastructure. It is understandable you are wishin' and hopin' but the primary trend - most likely - will continue.

Yes Ol man, agree that Trump was clueless in his first term, especially when the Plandemic was shoved on the world. He was ill prepared for the incredible assault the swamp and democrats had planned for him. Lie after lie after lie, to the point of treason was pushed on an ignorant public and the damage that these swamp creatures caused are no less than treason. Trump is at fault for not listening to the hundreds/thousands of real doctors who tried to stop the murder of tens of thousands of American seniors, but due to the constant media assault on him he followed really toxic advice from the left. The most insanely corrupt period in World history. Yes Ol man, millions of us Americans have hope and pray Trump will pay back those corrupt individuals responsible and get this third world shithole back to the greatest country ever! So I believe you and Mr Bill are wrong, but only time will tell 🤔

President Trump was ill prepared for his first go around but judging from his nominations this time the deep state better be looking for new jobs. They won’t go down without a fight and the rinos will be trying to delay the hard choices that have to be made.

The good part is Elon has the $ to make the rinos worry about being primaried. Trump has 2 years to reverse what 4 years of senile corrupt traitorous Biden and his minions did. We cannot fix the debt but with deregulation we might be able to grow our country into a better position going forward.

Bill might be correct in that President Trump now has a scapegoat in Musk to blame when times get rough when he starts cutting the fat in Washington. I do disagree with what Bill is saying that cutting the discretionary spending will hurt SS, medicare, etc since those programs are obligatory and not discretionary. Defense will need to be cut though and the MIC will kick and scream and maybe even try a coup to stop it.

Cutting 2 trillion out of the federal Govt will be painful to lots of people, but that war must begin. As Mr Bonner has mentioned in the past, we have no choice! Where will any additional funds come from?? Nothing changes if nothing changes. We have to start somewhere. If DJT wants to be successful, he must cut costs and put the non-productive spenders back on a budget. Again, this war will not be easy.

It would be wonderful if a bill was introduced that prevents the printing of fiat money; in other words, get rid of the Bank run Federal Reserve. Only spend what is collected in taxes and don’t go over that amount. Our own businesses would go bankrupt if we don’t control their spending.

"A better shooter on the roof in Butler", hmm? I don't think so! Whatever god is in your life, my God saved President Trumps life, and one in unable to "trump" God.

There are some things which happen in life that cannot be rationally explained in human terms. I believe the event in Butler is one of them; they are called "Miracles". Miracle: "an event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws". How could Trump have instinctively turned his head at the microsecond the speeding bullet whizzed past, hmm?

So, Mr Bill, in my mind, and as you may have indicated in "Miracle on the Pampas" with Javier Milei, I believe there is no comparison between the two. Milei is on his own, no intervention there; although, he is an man of extreme understanding of "what causes a nation to sink and decay". This part of Milei may be with God's making of who Milei is, but which one may not be able to unequivocally say for sure. But, I believe, Butler is a miracle.

Merry Christmas Sir and may God Bless you and your family.

That aside, the main issue here is are you, Dorothy, an advocate of individual rights - you know, free speech, free markets, deregulation, limited government - that many (but not all) of the Republicans support or do you support the Democrats who want to limit the exchange of ideas, regulate the economy to death by people who produce NOTHING, tell people what cars to buy, what stoves they can have, and myriad other restrictions in their idiotic embrace of catastrophic global warming caused by anthropogenic CO2 and only promote the expensive economically ruinous piddle power of solar and wind power rather than nuclear power. Just wondering.

In my opinion the jury is still out. In other words, it is too early to tell how the past 8 years have changed Donald Trump. There are some disturbing signs(like the lack of consistency and coherency in his cabinet), but they are not definitive, not yet anyway. One difference: He seems much more articulate on the issues than he was in 2017. He should be, of course. And nothing focuses the mind like being shot at. I have never been a Trump fan, going back to when he reminded me of the worst bosses I ever had while watching The Apprentice. But I’m going to give him more time before final arguments, before pronouncing that he can’t move the needle in the right direction. Can he move the needle enough? That is an entirely different question to which the answer is: No human being could.
