Laramie, Wyoming
Dear Reader,
Earlier today I registered to attend the Rule Symposium on Natural Resource Investing, but virtually. Attendees are arriving at the show in Boca Raton today. But the real action doesn’t begin until tomorrow. To join me as a virtual attendee, sign up here now.
Last year I was at the show in person. But I got sick on the first day and spent a lot of time in my hotel room. With the live stream available to virtual attendees I was able to watch all the presentations I had circled ahead of time. And this year, all the presentations are available, on-demand, within 24 hours (if you can’t watch a presentation live, or there are two presentations taking place at the same time, you can come back later and watch at your leisure).
On Monday morning at 9:10 AM eastern Ross McElory from Fission Uranium will take the podium. Fission has a uranium project at Patterson Lake in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. A bit later, at 11:50 AM eastern time, Rudy Fronk from Seabridge Gold will speak. Those are two I’ll be watching for sure–and many more later in the week, including the ‘macro’ panel on Tuesday at 2pm with Rick Rule, Grant Williams, Nomi Prins, and Jim Rickards.
Virtual attendees are also able to schedule one one one meetings with exhibitors. You do it through the platform, which is all explained when you register. If I’m not mistaken, attendees can also message one another during the show and continue a conversation that way. By all means say hello if you see me online. If you can’t make it, I’ll report on the highlights of the show in my Friday update.
All the best,
Dan
PS Just one chart! See below. It’s the gold price in Japanese Yen. If BPR’s analysis is right, the end-game for highly indebted Western governments is a currency/bond market crisis relative to gold and other scarce or strategic and critical metals and minerals. My goal at the Rule Symposium on Natural Resource Symposium on Investing is to see if there are any suitable (not risky) ways to leverage higher gold and commodity prices as the debt crisis plays out.

There is a great interview last month by Lobo Tiggre with Rudi Fronk of Seabridge on YouTube

Hey Dan, interesting you mentioned Seabridge as one of the early presenters at the Rule Symposium. This is exactly how we can leverage a rising gold price. VNOM works nicely for oil. Now that I think of it, this is probably a reply for Tom. :)
