A debt-funded stimmie is a hollow deception; it will just increase prices. Because the chicken is barren; there is no real output to justify the expense. Real earnings must be earned.
Was the child who pointed out that the emperor had no clothes on a traitor? If we cannot tell the truth about ourselves to ourselves, we are doomed. I pointed out back when the USSR collapsed that one of the primary reasons for their collapse was that their officials produced the statistics that their rulers demanded, regardless of the truth on the ground. We really need more people like Bill who will call it as they see it, regardless of whether that pleases our rulers or not.
They all lie. Every single administration. They believe the people can't handle the truth. So they continue the grift—keeping the public appeased with as little as possible, offering just enough bread and circus to maintain control.
Meanwhile, they funnel as much as they can to themselves and their inner circle in the form of crony payouts, insider kickbacks, and political patronage.
The problem? The bread is running out. And you can only watch the same tired circus act so many times before the illusion shatters.
Today the real Bill chimed In and not some ghost writer. I personally appreciate Bill for his brilliance, family values and success, but do not agree with his globalist acceptance nor his democrat leanings. Those are his choices and who am I to disagree with them. I prefer Dan and the old Joel, who I continue to support, but truly enjoy our fellow dear readers and the great information they provide. Traitors and fools were just thrown out of America’s government, and may have been replaced with more of the same, just with different agendas, but only time will tell. Until then, let’s enjoy our lives, enjoy our families and loved ones, and continue to support each other, and for your future, buy the dip in crypto 😊
Mr. L, You nailed it. Bill was excellent today, although I agree with the increase in border spending, which Bill appears not to be on board about. Or maybe he approves of an increase, but simply believes $175B is excessive.
Bill is so analytical some days, like today, and on others, he generalizes and cherry-picks stats as much as any leftist. It’s as if the real Bill writes a column, then turns his column over to Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi to write, then returns to write another highly-analytical, insightful column.
Excellent analogy Frank! So far almost everything that we see taking place in our country has been a very positive thing. Especially enjoy the reaction from the psychotic left and their behavior solidifies their obvious mental illness. I know it’s sad, and nothing to make fun of, but after almost 15 years of the destruction to our Republic, at the hands of these most demented of humans, it’s about time we put them back in their place and reopen the mental institutions they should be held in. Until then we can at least enjoy the entertainment of the crazy clown show, and their meltdowns. It’s almost as funny as the View or the Rachel Madcow show 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I used to think Dot was merely a typical ill informed democrat. But after her response to me in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that she is just flat out stupid.
95% of the leftardes are too stupid to actual participate in or contribute to a functioning Society. The other 5% are busy either pushing degenerate filth at all times, or robbing the real Producers blind...
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had much time for comments, but I just HAD to make time for this little gem!
Real news from Maddow! 😂🤣😂🤣
Good Lord, woman, it was just a couple of days ago that NBCUniversal agreed to settle a $30 million defamation lawsuit filed by a Georgia gynecologist after Maddow falsely accused him of performing unnecessary hysterectomies on immigrant detainees at a Georgia detention center!
And I could easily list a dozen more examples of Maddow's lies.
You've posted some doozies here, Dot, but this one is an all time great!
Invector: Glad you liked it! Obviously, we watch different stations. What lies do you think she has told? I watch her occasionally, but have never read or heard of her lying. I would think the station would not allow that to happen since they could be sued; but I guess Fox has/had been getting away with misinformation for a long time before they finally got $1.6 billion lawsuit .
DOGE will be a dog if the thieves in Congress don't step up and cut back. This is garbage we are being fed - the Senate wants to "fund" Trump's priorities, while simultaneously leaving all the other "funding" at current, wasteful levels? AFTER ALL THE FRAUD AND CORRUPTION THAT HAS BEEN EXPOSED AND VERIFIED? WTF??
We are being sold another scam, folks. The House MUST step up and put forth a budget that is AT LEAST 25% below last year's levels. DOGE can only discover, publicize and make recommendations. The same old snakes are still controlling the strings that open the Purse. Make them feel the heat NOW - hard, hot and often...
“Apple said on Monday it plans to help bring online a quarter-million-square-foot factory in Texas by 2026 to build artificial intelligence servers and will add about 20,000 research and development jobs across the country”. If the corrupt left stole this election, that facility and Jobs would be closer to Beijing than Texas. So far, so good Mr President 🙏
All 3 INTEL plants here, just 2 miles south of Portland ORE, have their own power grid. Bigger outfits like TEKTRONICS and LAM RESEARCH have their own grids her too... even NIKE World Headquarters. You should see the new one just put up for AMAZON at their new distribution / data center.
Butbutbut - they really need that money. Being "valued" at 800x earnings (or whatever ridiculous number it is) doesn't go as far as it used to, brother...
Now, if only they could move the supporting chip manufacturing plants in Taiwan to the U.S.
Taiwan has approximately 40–50 semiconductor fabrication plants (fabs), with the majority operated by TSMC, UMC, Micron, and Nanya Technology. TSMC alone has over 10 fabs, and UMC operates around 10 as well. When including smaller manufacturers and research fabs, the total number is likely in the mid-40s to 50 range.
Of course, Robert Moses could’ve done it in a long weekend. What’s a few eminent domain seizures, a couple of highways plowing through neighborhoods, and some misplaced toes among friends?
Honestly, I’m starting to think Elon Musk is his new incarnation—except instead of bulldozing Bronx tenements, he’s steamrolling government regulations, Twitter, and occasionally his own employees.
I thought TSMC was busy building that YUGE Fab Plant in BFE Arizona? Not that it matters - between tax "beaks" and TraitorJoe's steaming pile of CHIPs BS, we are surely footing the lion's share of development costs...
A couple of things about the yet to be produced DOGE checks: a) $5,000 is based on Musk trimming $2 trillion. Even he has admitted that is an unreasonable goal, so the checks will probably be significantly smaller. 2) I do not view the checks as stimulus. I view them as a return of stolen property, since all taxes are basically coercion. If my house is burglarized, the police find some of my stolen property and return it to me is that a stimulus?
They stole from your future. From your children’s future. Putting it back in your pocket today won’t change that fact. Paying down the debt will. Getting rid of useless government departments and programs will lower the monies needed today, so the USG doesn’t have to borrow.
The only problem is, their only source of revenue is taking it from the taxes they collect. But at this point, trying to fix the deficit by increasing taxes is like trying to put out a grease fire with gasoline. The only real solution? Stop cooking nonsense in the first place.
And let’s be honest—when the government returns what they took, it’s never a clean transaction. First, they hold a few committee meetings, lose a few billion in “misplaced funds,” and then send you a check for a fraction of what they grabbed—after taxing it again.
But then there was Dan’s email last week. He proposed Trump’s plan to be:
a) Strengthen the US dollar
b) Then weaken it
c) Tether the US dollar to gold while killing the FED
d) Lower interest rates
e) Let inflation run amok
f) Pay back $36T with devalued dollars
g) The weakened US dollar will make US exports attractive
h) While renegotiating trade agreements will bring more $ back to the US
I dissected his explanation using ChatGPT and ClaudeAI because I didn’t have a whiteboard and a whole bunch of stickies handy to make a crime scene tree.
Dan’s email reads like an Ocean’s Eleven heist plan, except instead of walking out with a vault full of cash, we’re trying to escape a burning casino with devalued dollars.
If Trump's plan (according to Dan) plays out, that $5,000 check he's offering you might buy you a nice dinner - if you're lucky.
I suggest telling him to keep it and pay that debt down.
You want part of the $36T they printed up back? That money's gone, baby. Burned through already. Likely in the form of a military black op, a failed fighter program, a redundant government department, a brand new yet unheard of false flag operation or a corporate subsidy or bailout.
If they hand you back $5,000, they are taking out a loan to pay you mister.
Let's make it even simpler for you.
If your neighbor stole your car, then sold it for parts, and rang up a Vegas bill for $200,000, and had a bank account that said -$300,000, then he (or she - I'm equal opportunity here) would be in no shape on his own, to offer to repay you for his earlier indiscretion.
He's going to have to get that cash from the bank.
In your case with the USG, it wouldn't be the bank. It would likely be the FED. Who would "print" money (digitally) to pay the Treasury for the bonds that Trump would create to fund this game of Monopoly.
Why the Fed?
Mostly because no one else on the planet may want to buy those bonds, seeing what the current administration is doing. Fiscally and trade wise, that is.
Which means, that all they’re really doing is digging the hole another $5,000 deeper. For 1 household. Multiplied by a few million households with their hands out, and that would amount to amount $400 Billion.
Money that didn't get "produced" as Bill put it in his article. It was just "created" out of thin air.
And there are repercussions for that.
Inflation.
Debt Expansion.
Economic Instability.
Elon and Trump? They don’t care. That’s just icing on the cronyism cake.
But interestingly, it does align with the devaluation of the USD strategy that Dan mentioned in his article:
No worries Bill it strikes me those incapable of critical thinking are the fools. As to the accusation of "traitor" it would be better aimed at those in DC. Pointing out the dangers we face needs to be done... I can think of nothing more patriotic... DOGE is of course no real solution... Rand another truth teller... makes clear that Congress got us into this mess and only Congress can get us out... well unless were just going to let it fail and collapse.
"But it is probably foolish to say so. Like noticing your wife’s first gray hairs, it might be best to keep it to yourself. Most excellent advice Bill!
Would be interesting to compare the left brained public / media view of DOGE in the US to Milei's chain saw approach in Argentina. Is the uproar the same in Argentina with the cuts taking place? Or are the left brained Americans and the media cry babbies about the government cuts here in the US.. I suspect Argentina is taking the hair cuts much better.
I’ve been a subscriber for a few years now. This is the very first time I sense that someone got under Bill’s skin. Name calling because they disagree. I enjoy Bonner’s thoughts everyday and look forward to them. I don’t always agree. Lots of smart writers in the comments. I say this: you can run from the truth but cannot hide from the truth. Thanks Bill Bonner always for your thoughts.
I think the saddest thing about your accuser is that they have fully accepted the propaganda that MSM and the like perpetually spout and in doing so is wasting his money on your subscription. Bill Bonner is smart enough to realise that the true strength of any newsletter is the quality of the readership and its commenters, and he knows how to wind them up and let them go. Some of his muses wind me up but mostly he sounds sane, and rational. On economics anyway.
I disagree hugely that you are a fool and certainly your investment advice over the years and your wealth disprove that notion. You’re not a traitor either although I will admit that I believe you’re a “normie”, a term coined by the Q followers as to those that seemingly have no clue as to what has been going on the last eight years; the greatest military psyop in history to unseat the Deep State with Trump put in to lead the charge. It’s not about political parties but rather a fight for freedom. You’re on Substack and I believe you are still into learning so check out Burning Bright who brilliantly explains the Game Theory. In play. If nothing else you’ll love the author’s ability to tell a story. We live in interesting times and once the picture becomes clear, then Bill, even you can believe that “the best is yet to come”.

This was clearly evident the past few years when the harris/biden admin put out fake statistics and the American people saw right through it.
They all lie. Every single administration. They believe the people can't handle the truth. So they continue the grift—keeping the public appeased with as little as possible, offering just enough bread and circus to maintain control.

I pointed out how Maddow's "station" was sued, and subsequently settled for 30 million, because she told a bald-faced lie about a doctor.
And then you respond to my post by saying you would think the station wouldn't allow her to lie because they could be sued!!!
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME????
READ IT AGAIN, DOT!!!
MADDOW'S "STATION WAS SUED BECAUSE SHE LIED!
HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN I WROTE IT AND THEN YOU RESPONDED TO IT???
SHEESH!!!!
Put the bottle down, sweetheart, and sober up before you post again. That was embarrassing.

Hope that You are correct. Do not put the cart before the horse.
Isn’t the big Intel plant being build in Phoenix partially funded by the Inflation Reduction Act
Yup, and Nvidia got a yuge grant from the so called inflation reduction act.

Hi Ann,
Thanks for the Tip.
Looks promising!
