I live in south central Ohio on a 225 acre farm, which I own free and clear. It is my retirement account. It brings me in around $45k rental each year. I can buy some things local from farmers and could raise some of my own stuff if I wanted too. Like others , I have an outdoor wood boiler for heat and burn my own wood. The only utilities I pay are for electric and internet/phone/TV. I am presently considering adding solar panels for that. My power supplier is a CoOp. and has good rates of about $.15 a KW. Our good Ol government is going to help with that of course by giving me printing press money. Nobody has to pay for that you all know, it’s freeeee!

I also have a side business of dealing in homebuilt helicopter kits, mainly RotorWays to those that might be familiar, and some production machines like the well known Robinson R22, R44.

Life isn’t to bad right here right now, except for the soaring prices for everything. I fully expect the city folks to be coming to the country side looking for food when it gets bad in the terribly run cities , which are all run by Democrats right now. Ohio is a red state but the cities all vote blue. Many that live there listen to MSM and are ignorant of basic economics. They believe the government owes them free healthcare a good standard of living and the last election was fair and no ballot boxes were stuffed full of fraudulent votes.

Thomas Jefferson said, “If we are to guard against ignorance and REMAIN FREE, it is the RESPONSIBILITY of every American to be informed.” This is unfortunately not being done. MSM is lying to us daily and leading us down the path to destruction. People must stop watching these news outlets and force them off the air because of their lies.

Thank you guys for bringing us real news and truth. And helping us through these very troubling times. I believe we are in the end times of the current Roman Empire. Our Gladiators are paid big money and the people are at the stadiums while Rome is burning!

My way of dealing with the inflation of food, energy and shelter is that I eat less meat, since I wanted to anyway, and I travel less since it became so unpleasant since 2020, and I have no mortgage.

It seems that I was ready for this already without even knowing or planning for it.

My 2005 car is being maintained very well, and runs like new with 320k miles. I hope to make it see 500k miles to join the 500k mile club.

Have a bolt hole in the woods in Canada at Bills advice years ago buy property in parts of the world where my $ is valued higher than there’s! Turned out to be great advice ! Out of the everyday fray. Beautiful setting with indoor garden and a deep Artesian well! Just payed $20 for 4 bison burgers at my favorite butcher he had bacon for $25 it was wild boar but still pricey! When I was here last year gas was $1.35 CND per liter there are 3.79 liters per gallon got as Hi as $2.09 CND recently before coming down to $1.89 CND

Good news converted USD to Canadian dollar give them $100 UDS get $127 CND.

I know That won’t last but enjoying the conversion while the USD is still the best looking person on the block of not so good looking people ! Now we go directly to the farms and cut out the middleman if that’s available I suggest finding a situation like that! Oh and the farmer took my crypto payment!!

Joel, Thank you! You are seriously interested in helping us common men, and leading us to water, but many of us are unwilling to drink, due to the blinders many of us horses asses wear.

For those of us that are not blinded, we appreciate you, Tom, Bill and Dan but search for properties in nations that will not suffer the coming collapse of these United banana republic States, and the horrors that will accompany. You guys are all over the world at all times. My family is of Swiss heritage and though we have never been to Switzerland, it seems like a safe place to sit back on the slopes and watch the new "American Horror Story" unfold. I would like to stay and fight, but it seems like a losing battle....to many donkey asses it seems.

Cost of living, food shopping more than doubled in the last 12 months! Leg of lamb $40.00.

9kg gas bottle refill is $39.95 up from $25.00 6 months ago!

Lucky I live in a rural area and can get meat direct from local farmers. Use wood for heating.

Regards, from rural South Australia.

The cost of living in Mexico is not as cheap as I expected. However the Mexican Peso is strong this year & my native currency the British Pound is weak. Some things are cheap, some things are actually more expensive than the U.K. There is no shortage of heavy weaponry though it seems.
