Bill seems to be pretending that people in developed nations who have assets (1) have no skills, (2) have been and are overpaid, and (3) fear immigrants because they believe the immigrants will take their overpaid jobs. What facts can he cite? One would wish that such a successful capitalist would consider the negative cultural and economic impacts of importing unskilled, uneducated, often uncivilized people who do not believe in either assimilation or the Western rule of law.
Like a successful business… you can only achieve anything if your partner shares and respects your values, goals and work ethic. Which the West did very successfully after WW2.

Here's still another opinion of why Judao-Christian society is crumbling: The reason the forefathers restricted suffrage was they knew the need for a well-informed electorate. I recently coached a legal immigrant to prepare for US Citizenship Test (128 total questions, 28 are Civics with a passing grade of 20 of them). Based on person-on-the-street interviews I have seen, most current American citizens could not pass the civics part, much less the entire 128. Moreover, citizens 30 y.o. and younger with diplomas from public schools are totally ignorant of the most basic concepts brilliantly described in the Declaration Of Independence & enshrined in the Constitution. A representative republic cannot stand once the ill-informed public are prey for politicians promising free goods and services for everyone. And finally: Essentially all of both federal and local politicians are just as ignorant of US exceptionalism as the voters. Oh, about universal suffrage...for a long time, arguably the most positive political force was apathy. Communications technology kept people from being inflamed by issues that really did not affect them. Cell phones, 24/7 internet, social media, & professional protester-rioters put an end to that.
