What a shame Epstein never got to spill the beans. Overcome with remorse, apparently, he decided to take his own life at the very time his guards took a smoke break.
W S --Our current president and Epstein were close friends for nearly 20 years. Their friendship was severed over a real estate transaction.
Apart from no revelations about Trump in the Epstein files released to date, what I also find missing is any mention of the women who are presumed to have been the lures.
One woman who had carnal relations with Bill Gates apparently gave him a sexually transmitted disease.
I suspect one of the questions at the Congressional hearing at which the Clintons will testify will be ask Bill Clinton, who visited Epstein's island frequently, if he also had sexual congress with one or more of the young ladies
Maybe even the same one who gave Gates the clap.
Clinton will say no, of course, just like he said no when asked if he had a dalliance with Miss Lewinsky.
The point is that mainstream media is ignoring that two USA Presidents were blackmailed.
Clinton was one, who is the other?

Yes Bill, people are always changing. I don’t believe that the Trump of the past had Anything to do with Epstein, other then rubbing elbows with their close proximity to the rich, famous and perverted. Sure, the Trump of the past was a certified liberal NYer, and as such, I’m sure participated in many of the immoral and inhumane acts that make a Democrat a Democrat. It’s what they do. But as you have been living witness to yourself, people over their lifetime do change, some like Trump for the better, some like yourself, not so much. It’s what we do🤔

Interesting fact I came across last week - the very first Australian-born Governor-General of Australia (the Monarch's representative) from 1931- 1936 was Sir Isaac Isaacs, former Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, and a Jew.
In the 1940's, he was opposed to the concept of a Jewish nation in Palestine.
Isaacs said "political Zionism to which I am irrevocably opposed for the reasons which will be found clearly stated, must be sharply distinguished from religious and cultural Zionism to which I am strongly attached."
So, indeed Jews and Israel are not identical. Worth remembering.
Zionism simply means that the Jewish state has a right to exist. I’m an American and a Zionist. The vast majority of Jews are Zionists.. and you are an ignorant anti-Semite. Call a spade a spade. The words never forgive never forget never again is not a slogan. It’s a fact. Am Yisrael Chai
Being a small but disproportionately successful group of people, they were an easy target for thousands of years. The painful new reality for the antisemites du jour is they are no longer defenseless and have a stubborn new habit of mopping the floor with their would be killers. ‘Never again’ has become ‘try and you die’.
Absolutely true but many small minorities have been scapegoats for thousands of years. In the case of Jews jealousy is a major reason. 20% of Nobel prize winners are Jews even though Jews are .02% of world population. The only way to explain that is cheating right? Many different minority groups have been turned into scapegoats in different eras and places, often in ways that parallel antisemitism.[jewishcurrents +1]
Major patterns
Across history, those targeted as scapegoats tend to be:
• Religious minorities
• Ethnic or racial minorities
• Immigrant communities
• Political dissidents or “subversives”
• Sexual and gender minorities
They are typically blamed for disease, economic distress, military defeat, or social change they did not cause.[annefrank +2]
Examples by category
Religious minorities
• Early Christians in the Roman Empire were blamed for disasters like fires and military setbacks and were periodically persecuted as a dangerous cult.[historycollection]
• Various heretical Christian sects (e.g., Cathars in medieval Europe) were framed as responsible for social and religious disorder, justifying violent suppression. Ethnic and racial minorities
• Roma (Gypsies) have long been stereotyped as inherently criminal or parasitic and were targeted by discriminatory laws and, under Nazism, mass murder, with many of the same “inferior race” claims used against Jews.[annefrank]
• Tutsi in Rwanda were systematically portrayed as the source of Rwanda’s problems; extremist propaganda blamed them for political and economic crises, helping pave the way for the 1994 genocide.[annefrank]
• In the United States, African Americans have repeatedly been depicted as responsible for crime, unemployment, and social decay, a pattern used to justify segregation, lynching, and mass incarceration.[msp +1]
• In Kenya and other postcolonial states, prosperous Indian or other merchant minorities have been accused of “ruining the national economy” in times of scarcity, making them targets for threats and expropriation.[dialogueseconomiques]
Immigrants and diasporas
• Chinese immigrants in 19th‑ and early‑20th‑century North America were blamed for disease outbreaks and urban squalor, fueling exclusion laws and segregation.[foundsf +1]
Well Richard the actual truth will come out one day. But today it is all conjecture as far as I can see, tell. Personally I do not really care . Evil is as evil does .
When you’re referring to the Levant, ‘“the slaughter in the Levant goes on”, what country are you referring to? Syria, Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, or the Hamas stronghold of Palestine ? Obama would regularly avoid calling Israel, Israel. He often times referred to it as the Levant. Are you playing the same cryptic verbal game as Obama did?
Dear Pieces, he’s probably referring to the Netanyahu’s extinction plan in Gaza, which you likely endorse. Netanyahu created and then used Hamas to justify the slaughter/eviction/starvation/jailing/torture/rape/etc of 2 million Semites in tiny Gaza?).
What you intentionally (cleverly?) failed to mention is that Netanyahu/Trump’s similar pending action against the 5? million Palestinians barely existing in the West Bank (because their lands have been stolen/“bought” by terrorist settlers sent by this devious pair specifically for this purpose and THEIR ultimate elimination/expulsion.
And that’s not even talking about the actions of these 2 pariah governments’ horrific actions in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, etc.
Fortunately for the rest of the world the US war machine, having already killed 30 million foreigners since WWII and bankrupted the USA, is best portrayed/described by the Trump’s “magnificent” birthday present last year to us.
While he may be capable of overthrowing the Cuban regime or causing the demise of various more millions in the world, there is no way he will dare bomb China, which has yet to drop its FIRST bomb on another country and has not killed a single foreigner since 1979 (when it tried for 16 days and failed in Vietnam). Only our clueless Trump can still wonder why those 190-2 votes occur in the UN. And it’s a real tragedy because it wouldn’t cost a penny (relatively speaking) to just declare PEACE with the rest of the world—and quit pretending each of its other 190 countries and their leaders owe the USA (actually DJT) billions for all the favors us hardworking, Jesus-loving, white ‘mericans have sacrificed for all you dirty, lying, incompetent, variously colored foreigners for the last 249 lllooonnnggg years!!!
How you got that I likely endorse what has been going on in Gaza based off of my comment is ludicrous.; I don’t. But I’m not going to waste any more of my time and life energy on your reply.
Hope you mean that........would love if you and your ilk just left for other pastures. Just so disgusting to hear your love affair with anything Trump and Israeli. Just sick........
They haven't killed any foreigners in years? I suppose they don't want to take over Taiwan either. And they didn't kill millions of their own citizens. They're such lovely countries, these communist dictatorships. Why, we could have one right here. Just elect the Democrats. Like Bonner, it's amazing how you always direct your hatred at the USA and Israel.
Why not do that between Tel Aviv and Haifa. There’s plenty of space for at least 20 big beautiful Trump Hotels and the IDF won’t have to kill/starve/deport 2 million people (minus the 70,000+++ it’s already slaughtered) OR risk further IDF lives—not that the Trumpanahu administration cares about anyone’s life except their own.
So you’re an unabashed Antisemite?! Thank you, Mike Ware, for defining so clearly the type of world you advocate for all of us. Does that mean you would have supported Hitler? Both of you employ the same word (I.e., swine) with the same passion.
How about that stock market, y’all?! Hope some of you have been riding this wave since the tariff “correction” last year. Those eeeeevil, BPR avoid-at-all-costs, index funds have been serving quite well!
Dow at 60K, others up same percentage, too, by November? Won’t surprise me.
Now, if Ol’ LSO can just entertain us some more with, ahem, “TACO-clown”, and remind us of the horrible collapse that WILL happen this year. He’s ASSURED us of it.
If Epstein had dirt on Bill Bonner, it had to be the most sterile, most boring dirt God ever made. That said, Bill, isn't it about you time you came "clean" on the rest of the "fetching hat-check girl" story? Many thanks and best always. PM
You are using this comment section as an echo chamber to fault Bill's views especially when they are disapproving of Trump
Have you ever produced an articulate retort persuasively explaining why anything Bill opines needs refinement or is not fully accurate or is missing data?
Many times. But it is not worth my time anymore to go into detail. If you think Bonner is spot on, that's fine with me. I don't feel a need to respond to your comments because I just don't care what you think.
Plus, Jimmmm uses big words (yet confuses there/their...go figure?) You know us simpleton MAGA types can't handle more than two-syllable words, right, Jimmy?
And you do like commentaries contrary to your views? Look in the mirror. You can't help yourself replying to other people's comments that you don't like suggesting they stop posting. Aren't there any better hobbies for you to engage in? Why don't you just limit yourself to commenting on Bonner's posts? I rarely comment on posts I don't like, but I do pay for BPR so I will comment on Bonner's column although not to the extent I have in the past. I comment because Bonner is so biased, one-sided and dishonest in his commentary.
Bill, in spite of it being crystal clear to your many loyal clients’ stand on your commentary, I remain confused. On two things.
First, your writing style is sophisticated, subtle, nuanced sometimes to the point where I am left with sometimes wondering what is really true or not. Or does it just lend credence to a point you are trying to make Case in point - your words:
“We spent the evening in quiet contemplation, heavy drinking and light prayer. People come to think what they must think when they must think it.
"And little by little we recovered the memory that was never there.”
That is close to poetic as one would could get, but
And what followed - was the rest just made up or were you actually there? Or not/You never mentioned who you were with, when it happened only vague benign generalities leaving me wondering if this is as W.C.Fields would say “I was in Philadelphia, that’s my story and I am sticking to it” and you are off the hook. No more explanation necessary.
You are a great storyteller, so was this a better way of telling a story, after all a little fabrication will almost always make for a better story. My Dad’s ultimate denigration of someone was by saying “he would lie when the truth suited better” So the simple questions- were you " there "or not? Were these "recovered memories" or not? Those two answers would clear up my confusion.
My 2nd confusion about your commentary - as the face of Bonner Private Research, and presumably wanting to get and keep customers, why do you go to such great lengths to piss clients off? In particular, any and all of your commentary on domestic politics. I suspect your client base knows as much about the domestic political arena as you do, possibly more. We don’t need or want help knowing your opinion on politics. If it is relevant to investing strategy, stick with the policy argument, not who is making the argument or what you think is their motivation. We (the universal “we” based on the clients' comments) are here for the BPR perspective (including yours for sure) on investing strategy not your opinions about stupid politics. There will come a time when Tom, Dan, Joel and the host of smart people they bring to the party turn the page to another chapter and the platform from which you offer your opinions will disappear. Like bankruptcy. Suddenly, overnight. You will be speaking to an audience who will no longer be there. Reflect for moment on Budweiser, Subway or Cracker Barrel. Those incredible stupid marketing decisions, without considering the reaction of their customers. And the predictable consequences that never had to happen. Consider your big picture commentary as marketing. Does it help? If the answer is no, or even probably not, then a simple solution is to stop. And it doesn’t have to happen to BPR. We’ll see.
This is said with all sincerity from a guy that goes back in time as you and a place – Baltimore and people and the firms Legg, Alex Brown and T Rowe Price who knew your name – and respected you.
You hit the nail on the head. Perfect. My only guess is that he has so much FU money, he doesn't care if he destroys this BPR newsletter. Or he assumes people won't take him seriously. Or, finally, he is relying on Dan and Tom (I think Joel has fled the coop) to keep the customers.
When you get an email from BPR there may be an actionable idea, you have to simply wade through what comes before that idea. Sometimes moronic statements misdirect your attention so at the very least it’s annoying. On the positive side I can appreciate his writing style and enjoy his commentary on history and his activities outside the business and those people he encounters. Same goes for Dan and Tom and the stories about their families and where and how they live. But, and it is a real plus, they have the good sense to not talk politics. But back to Bill, he does occasionally dredge up ideas that are universal and still have application to making and keeping wealth- that is worth being reminded of. He doesn’t say it this way, but preserving one’s capital is as important, if not more so than enhancing it. All in all, I reckon I can put up with his political views however moronic and obsessive they are about certain people. And I can understand your sentiment completely. Thanks for that.
Well Jimm, now I am confused, I thought I was answering your question of “why I tortured myself reading his commentaries”. I considered it as a straightforward question and I answered in a straightforward manner. Not sure if there is anything “demeaning” about what I said. But it does show how naive I was in reading your question- I didn’t realize you were just being sarcastic. So tell me precisely what I said was demeaning and I will respond to that. Should I also assume you took it personally as an affront to you as well – you seem to suggest as much.
Or were you referring to my initial posted comments? Wherein I ask two other straight forward questions. One, Bill is a very clever story teller and was he using his writing craftmanship to answer in a way and that left me wondering whether he was really there or not. So on that score, I will ask you a question – do you think he was there? Either way it doesn’t matter a wit to me if he spent a week with Jefferey Epstein. Besides Bill brought the subject to our attention. Two, “why does he go to great lengths to piss off his customers with his political opinions”. Its not good for business and if you think it is I would like to know what business you were in. So having clarified to best of my ability, what in my first post do you think was demeaning. Specifically, so I won’t have to guess.
As for Bill Bonner, I followed him prior to ever starting BPR and was one of the first on board because of Bill Bonner. I knew of him from his Baltimore days. I want to see BPR succeed and I offered my critique of his style as constructive to that end. He is a big boy and I suspect not quite as thinned skin as you might be
I go back to Bill's Baltimore days too. I owned a home there at the time (in Upper Baltimore). I will be driving to Towson (a "burb" adjoining Upper Baltimore) on Tuesday. I even still root for the Oriels; sometimes in person. Great stadium.
To your questions:
1. Was he "there?" Yes. He crafted another pleasant read; a quintessential Bonner articulate assessment of our life and times made astounding by the Rogue Elephant we have as president.
And I found the Epstein reference humorous. I deduced Epstein also read Bonner's critiques of the mismanagement of our Federal dollars just as I thee and me did.
2. What did you say that was demeaning? You made no crass insult; your critique simply conveyed an array of sentiments that implied Bonner wrong for conveying his opinions but failed to persuasively and politely explain why.
Well Jimm, your note mentioning Baltimore, brings back fond memories. I’ll share one with you:
A red brick row house on Loch Shiel Rd, just off Loch Raven Blvd, only 10 miles to Memorial Stadium in the city, on a hot August day, sitting with friends and family in the shade of the house on a small back porch with a fan on the floor overlooking an alley that ran the length of the block, eating hard shell crabs that were 10 inches across the back, weighing a minimum of a pound +, pulled from a bushel basket that cost my farther-in-law maybe $6 bucks, drinking Colt 45 malt liquor, and listening to Chuck Thompson do the play by play of a Sunday double header with the Orioles against the New York Yankees. On hand were Whitey Ford ,Jim Palmer, Mantle, Maris, Ripkin and Robinson all of whom wound up in Cooperstown. It was truly a grand day for baseball. One could go out the back gate and walk the 4-5 blocks of alleys, with the game being broadcast from the homes all the way to Lock Raven and never miss hearing a play. As best I can remember, the Orioles won the first game 14 to nothing or something close to that . For the people of Baltimore, tomorrow would come soon enough, back to work and maybe even your shift started at midnight that same day but for those 5 or so hours, life just couldn’t get any better than that. Perhaps you were watching that game, that day. That to me was Baltimore. Close to perfection. Something pure.
That scene was played out for a couple of decades in the working-class neighborhoods all over Baltimore – with both Oriole and Colt players living in Baltimore and working 2nd jobs in the off season in these very same neighborhoods. Unfortunately, that Baltimore doesn’t exist today. Baseball is still there but the players certainly don’t work at off season jobs in Baltimore. But more importantly, the wide range of industries are gone also. Industries and businesses that constituted what we now call “supply chains” and which we wring our hands over now nonstop. Baltimore typified what was the heart and soul of America’s supply chains, in virtually every form they existed - a concept that we neither knew nor thought important enough to foster and protect. Track down the answer to why that occurred and it will tell you what happened to Baltimore. The gross negligence for this neglect, in my opinion, can be traced back to the political class and their thinking that came into power in the decade after Dwight Eisenhower left government – and still exists today. Ike knew about and cared about such things as infrastructure and “supply chains”. His contribution to winning WWII was in large part built on supple chains. One only needs to look at the Interstate Highway System as the beginning of his vision for America’s supply chain.
At this point you are probably asking how did this idiot gRichard get from baseball in Baltimore to Ike planning for the future, I’ll end this by saying that just a short decade after he left office we began the grand experiment of currency debasement and I will guarantee you Nixon didn’t get that idea from Ike. And as you well know, a subject Bill Bonner can speak on with authority, better than anyone. Even write a book about it.
As for finishing up our running commentary on Bill, you still seem to think I disagree with Bill’s opinions and offer no reasons as to why, to which I will say, I can never recall ever disagreeing with one. I have simply pointed out on at least two different occasions it is not good idea to go out of one’s way to deliberately piss off your client base. For me personally, I can’t be insulted or offended so his obsession with Trump and calling him names, means zero to me. I don’t think that is true with many of his clients. All I have said is that it is a mistake to bring politics into the realm of BPR’s business and its mission. If talking about politics has any effect at all, it will almost always be negative ----and it will never ever help. So, if you are still looking for my explanation – that’s it in a nutshell. Not a crap shell from back in the days. That size would require a whole page on the core tenets of marketing, and I am done thinking about it. If a nutshell isn’t satisfactory, so be it.
Have a great trip to Towson. Hope you don’t encounter one of my other memories of Loch Shiel Rd and that was of a freak winter storm during the mid 60’s when the snow was knee deep. They couldn’t plow the neighborhoods and it took us a week to get up to Loch Raven Blvd.
Good luck on that score and maybe our paths will cross someday.
My, My, my.... Isn't it Ironic that the TDS infested Billy Bonner ends his prose with the comment:
..." political hoax whose only purpose is to harm Jeff’s best friend for many years, Donald Trump"
This even after factual evidence supports Billy Clinton visiting pedophile island 26 times. But Trump is his best friend.
Maybe you are just losing any sense of reality, you know, like your best buddy Joe Biden...
W S --Our current president and Epstein were close friends for nearly 20 years. Their friendship was severed over a real estate transaction.

"We spent the evening in quiet contemplation, heavy drinking and light prayer." Bill, it looks like
your prayers were answered, this time.
I wonder whose idea it was to create a "honey trap" to entice the High and Mighty to love Israel?
Whoever it was, they succeeded. To find fault with Israel is "Un-American."

Of the passengers on the MS St Louis approximately 288 survived the war.
The remaining 650 souls aboard were eventually killed by the Nazi's, not the IDF.
WTF are you rambling on about?
Yes, thank you. I was a little bit sloppy. The precursor (of the IDF in Gaza) was the Wehrmacht, the Nazi German military.
Your wording tends to imply the IDF manifest from the Wehrmacht.
It did not...
To implicate the Nazi Wehrmacht and the IDF share commonalities, I agree.
However, these common grounds hold true for most every military.
If you are implying the genocide aspect of Nazi Germany is the same as the control and revenge demonstrated by Netanyahu, we will disagree.
Not even close by comparison...
Jewish lebensraum?
Well… perhaps…
Which side would you rather reside?

So, Sir Isaac Isaacs was an anti-semite? I doubt that.
I don’t know Isaac but he certainly could have been a Capo like Witkoff and Kushner but you my friend are an anti-Semite.
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
:-) Have a good night!
No
Jews are the scapegoat of society going back centuries
My guess is that Bill touched a nerve
Bill is an anti-Semite pure and simple. And you’re right I’m Jewish and my friends and I were responsible for “pedophile island.” Gotta blame the Jews
Well Richard the actual truth will come out one day. But today it is all conjecture as far as I can see, tell. Personally I do not really care . Evil is as evil does .
This is a little over the top here. Why make yourself look bad just to make a point? Best always. PM
Bonner is the one who looks bad with his constant anti-Semitic tropes
The “heavy drinking” part does have a ring of truth.
Well said
Funny, but beside Bill Bonner I have seen nothing factual connecting Trump to any of this. TDS in high gear today Bill.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster.
Friedrich Nietzsche
Bill.
Just sick........
there it is, more TDS.....the OOD has spoken
W S. -- No need to castigate a person just because they do not share your views, especially of Trump
Jewish, just write a book Ffs
Whichever is the most anti-Jew..
Of course he’s playing word games. I’m hoping they can speed things up a little and finally finish the job.
To which job do you refer? Create a world of peace and prosperity or continue to foment a world of war, destruction and poverty.
I’m referring to turning Gaza into a wonderful beach resort. After the area is completely cleared out.
No, just the swine living in Gaza will do.
He’s ASSURED us of it.
he is very good at bringing up vintage prose, names, etc. thinking he is on target - omg, here it comes..... incoming....>!
...yes!
Real tears since "Liberation Day"...tears of joy, made more in the 2025 market than I did in salary.
A great one ,Bill , Beautifully summarizes all the things I have believed about the Jew Epstein for years.
If Epstein had dirt on Bill Bonner, it had to be the most sterile, most boring dirt God ever made. That said, Bill, isn't it about you time you came "clean" on the rest of the "fetching hat-check girl" story? Many thanks and best always. PM
First of all the U.S. and Israel bombed as a response to attacks
Second the Palestinians voted Hamas into office
As far as Iran you are full of ……..
Now for Gaza the plan is to make it like the riviera of the Middle East where Palestinians can return and live if they want to
Rebuilding will be done mostly by Arab countries
You are attempting to confuse Bill with the facts again.
John,
You are using this comment section as an echo chamber to fault Bill's views especially when they are disapproving of Trump
John, It's clear you don't like commentaries which are contrary to your views.
And I am grateful you don't bemoan my humble opinions like you do Bonner's eloquent ones every single day after day.
I'm sure you know there are better hobbies than constant carping.
Yep, Joel bugged out.
100%
gRichard,
Why in the world do you torture yourself reading Bill's remarks?
GRichard,
For goodness sake, Bill has opinions. That you don't like some, maybe many of them is understandable.
But to demean him because he doesn't think the way you do is commentary beyond the pale.
And by implication everyone who agrees with whatever criticism, fault or misstep he cited but with which you treat as an affront.
For sure, disagree with Bill's opinions but tell those of us who agree with them why.
He is a big boy and I suspect not quite as thinned skin as you might be
gRichard,
I go back to Bill's Baltimore days too.
My take on today's missive, Bill was tired from travel and went conspirtorial with a bit of humor mixed in. No harm no foul and no knowledge.
No knowledge is the most salient.
Yup
... only to those that recognize knowledge.
Is Epstein really dead?
