I liked the idea of auditing Fort Knox. Wonder if we have any gold at all. Just sayin'

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's only an IOU. Same game these criminals played with the Social Security Trust Fund. Can't audit Fort Knox or the Federal Reserve due to National Security issues. Right, I'm long past buying that line of B.S.

Here in the cheese , chocolate and watch country there is an official audit each year . I am sure that PG V is right there is , at least I want to be optimistic, but no official audit to this day .By citizens the Swiss have the most of réserve of gold , and they match 25 % of the public debt , means that if gold goes from 1830 to 7300 usd per ounce the debt is match by the reserve of gold “audited” no country has this advantage. “Le talon d Achille “ is the amount of usd and eur hold by the Swiss National Bank , with all its interventions to try to weaken the Swiss franc .

Hi Don ,

Suppose to be 8133,50 tones or 261.500.000 ounces or 500 billions at today price ... don t want to be a party killer but it s a drop in this debt sea of 30 trillion , as I wrote to PG V , the USA will need the price of gold at 115.000 usd an ounce to match the debt ... just saying ...

Liz Warren has a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a law degree. Clearly, she is qualified to lecture Mr. Powell on economics and Fed monetary policy. Bill, shut up and obey!

Liz is looking out for millions of American workers, Bill is looking out for his stocks. And he calls her a moron. SMH

She's worse than a moron, she's the most dangerous person on Capital Hill. She's worse, than Sanders, AOC, and Biden. Her ideas (or the ideas she espouses) are absolutely antithetical to this country and its people. We'd all be much better off if she just dropped dead.

Great logic! LOL. If Mr. Market is allowed to do his thing as Mr. Bonner suggests the stock market will continue its decline. AFriend do you know what happens to the majority of people's stocks when the overall market declines? Bill does and that's why he's "looking out."

"Russian gold" will be "banned" is in today's news. Someday, when the $hi7 hits the fan, and the only ones left standing are those, like BPR folks, who bought gold, and the governments are looking for scapegoats, will the gold held by us be "banned" or confiscated? Or am I being paranoid?

I’m glad to hear you say exactly what I was thinking while watching Powell and Warren. It’s so ridiculous and so clearly moronic. I just scratch my head. It’s rather embarrassing to see our politicians “be informed” and or think they are “informing the public.”

Oh Mr Powell did not bother me as much as Ms Warren. In fact, I was surprised at his composure after her idiotic comments. I was fine with his answers and impressed or maybe I should say, hopeful at his truthful answer on inflation when asked. That being said, I did not like him whistling down the hall after leaving the hearing or whatever it was. I did not expect him to answer reporters, but whistling and walking seemed silly. It somehow diminished the credibility I had felt for him after he answered the inflation question in a seemingly truthful and non political manner.

A record number of people airlifted in record time from conflict zone with minimal deaths is a big win for Biden. Right wing media just framed it as a disaster. You should get out more.

There are still untold numbers of Americans there that can't get out. Upwards of 9,000, you really are clueless. Oh, and how smart was it to just leave 10's of billions of dollars worth of the latest and greatest military hardware, weaponry, helicopters, etc. there for our enemies to study and use?

Mr Market always does the right thing at the right time ... hum not really God does ...

Mr Market has been a moron since 2008 , he has allowed himself to bubble to a level , where rich and poor have never been so far apart . Mr market shouldn’t have allowed to let the Fed to bubble him to this magnitude... No Mr Market has been manipulated and has no will . Mr Market will die ( crash x pour-cent) because he will not receive his drug ( liquidity) for a while . Mr Market , Bill, is a moron manipulated by the Fed and the Elite , but has no live by himself . My opinion for what is worth

Bill said on Friday:

“Yes, it’s ‘one for all and all for one.’ Governments will print money to save each other’s bonds. Then, currencies and credits... dollars and pounds…. Germans and Italians… all roped together; they will be stable, until they aren’t stable.

There are rules. There are agreements. There are guarantees, promises, contracts and treaties. But at the end of the day, links… like hearts… break.

But what about gold? Surely, there is a link we can depend on, no? Tune in on Monday.”

I was on the edge of my seat all weekend, and today? Nada. What a tease.

I noticed in the news that “Russian gold” is now being “banned” (whatever that means) to combat the evil Russian oligarchs. As a big gold buyer, I’m sure China approves. And might this not be the writing on the wall that portends banning all physical gold since really only oligarchs and drug dealers would have a need for it? Tom says he doesn’t worry about it; I do. Any comments?

There is little chance of a universal ban on gold.

Of the 196 states in the world there will always be some that don't ban it.

This is not 1933 and it would be interesting to see how big a proportion of the population, in the case of confiscation, would voluntarily hand over their gold.

China and India, for example. I would just find it...inconvenient... to have to smuggle gold there. But perhaps a future business opportunity for some entrepreneur.

while not popular with everyone If you have some (or a lot LOL) physical gold/silver. having digital in a solid project like LODE with vaulted audited PMs in a many vaults lets you travel and send PMs globally very inexpensively with no need to smuggle

Right on, right on, right on for Ron! He IS a superstar and he comes with zero baggage. Someone with some political savvy needs to sit Trump down. I'm beginning to hope the Marxists find a way to disqualify Trump so we have a clean primary. De Santis will be an awesome President for all the reasons you stated.

Have a great trip. Hilton Head is awesome I'm sure. We're beginning to become very concerned with our trip to Europe. Now the Euro train employees unions are starting to walk. This trip was supposed to happen last year, but the British Open was bumped a year due to Covid. I have a bad feeling about this (we're now buying insurance).

From here in the UK the BLM summer bonfires in many US Cities looked more like an insurrection than the 'Weirdos day out in the Capitol' where people in fancy dress took selfies, got bored, then went home. How many politicians in the US stood beside BLM rioters while they burned and looted? The fact that you in the US choose to prosecute the Capitol bunch but let the BLM rioters and its supporters get off scot free is weird. It doesn't do much to inspire confidence in the US from over here in the UK.

You are certainly right not to be confident in the US government, an organization that does the bidding of world bankers and is populated with political, economic, societal and cultural saboteurs.

Last I heard, all of the founding documents are still in force (remember --those that were supposed to guarantee the freedom of all Americans). Yet, if one looks at the so-called "laws" being enforced today, Americans are not nearly so free as they were 200 years ago. What happened? It's complicated, but basically the American public was propagandized into abject stupidity and distracted by circuses while the government was quietly and methodically overthrown. U.S.C. Title 18 is aimed at protecting the usurpers who have replace real representatives and real public servants. Free Americans would AND DO have every right to protest and overthrow corrupt government at all levels.

Buried in a news report is the observation that there is an incline prior to reaching the tracks. I have a rural railroad crossing near my house that also has an incline, and I can tell you that you cannot look far both ways down the tracks until you reach the top and are practically on the tracks. Very dangerous! You must proceed slowly and LISTEN for the sound of an approaching train. Freight trains are easy to hear even when far away, and they always blow their horn several times before reaching every crossing. The truck driver is at fault for not being careful, and paid for his carelessness with his life.
