Plenty of soap opera drama w Watergate, for sure! Cuz many Americans -- well, not me! -- love their soap operas & dramas. And so it went down... (Full disclosure: I was of age back then, but missed most of it cuz I was a studious college student sans TV in my dorm room.)

Then again, keep in mind that in 1972 Nixon won a landslide victory at the polls and in the electoral college; 49 states to 1. Had zilch to do w anything that happened at Watergate. But it did create Washington Worries, in that Nixon had two dangerous ideas up his sleeve, or so I'm told. First he was going to reopen the Kennedy assassination file and have a look. Second, he talked about reversing his 1971 decision to "close the gold window," meaning return to some semblance of American Hard Money.

Well... Can't Have That, right?

So, VP Agnew was put down and replaced w Jerry Ford, of Warren Commission fame. And along the way, under the guidance of Herr Kissinger, the US dollar went full fiat and Petrodollar. By August 1974 Nixon was gone, the secrets of JFK were safe, and the federal complex could spend its way to monetary oblivion.

As for Epstein... I've been told that it's all about covering up the honeytrap connections btwn US, UK and Israel intel ops. That name-list of Epstein associates is a Who-s Who of global movers, shakers, and total pervs.

And we Can't Have That kind of info floating around, right?

Good to review the Watergate incident. I had no idea of incompetence or the Martha Mitchell saga. The truth is more fictional than fact when in the political arena.
