The forces of history exert gravitational pulls. The Kennedy Assassination, 9/11, Covid, sometimes things happen that are so beneficial to ruling elites, it’s as if they caused them themselves.
The primary, and likely only, reason for bailouts is to keep the current scam (ripping off the middle class) going to the benefit of insiders. The excuse put forward for the "necessity" of the bailout is to avoid calamity, usually a "meltdown" or, to use Mr. Bonner's term, reversion to mean. That way, the system never rebalances, never resets, the rules are thwarted, distortions are never removed, and the scam can continue. So effective is the show that the victims breathe a sigh of relief, believing that they have been "saved". And on it goes. Best always. PM
Yes! "Safety" is a beguiling siren that calls to us all. But spare a thought for the little guy, 1 pay check away from a tent and eating from a dumpster. If we could walk a mile in his shoes, would we think differently?
The billionaire globalist oligarchs, the ones driving world affairs at present, garnered the power they have, power to do things like make nearly every nation on the planet move in perfect lockstep during the COVID scamdemic, by controlling both national and international money flows. They are in league with each other and with the international banking and business cartels to such a degree that they control the worlds politicians. The COVID response looked like a world stage ballet. The choreography was damn near perfect. Every corporate hospital on the planet went along. The vast majority of doctors and nurses went along. Everyone that had any power danced in lockstep. How this was accomplished needs to be the subject of much research and PhD theses. But the real point here is is that this systematic control infrastructure has not been dismantled. In the US we call it the Deep State. It involves much more and many more than mere state actors, who are no longer the most important players.
And while all the plotting and machinations go forward, there is in parallel a mighty struggle going on at the top. It is opaque in its operation but has visible symptoms, for example the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. It is a struggle for which side(east versus west) is ultimately on top. Ideologies differ in degree but not in kind.
And now they, that is both sides, have this nasty little assignment of what to do about Donald Trump.
After a shaky start, Bonner makes several good points. However, I do have an issue with this statement at the beginning of his column:
"Everybody knows restricting trade is bad policy. It prevents people from getting the best product at the best price... and it allows uncompetitive, but politically well-connected, domestic companies to stay in business long after they should have been liquidated."
In and of itself, there is much truth to this, except Bonner usually frames this as his support of "free markets and therefore free trade". But he usually neglects to take in the bigger picture - what about "free countries". That is, countries that respect individual rights. Bonner's beloved China is not one of them. Its citizens are constantly surveilled by the government, and their economic policy includes attempting to undermine US companies and US security by dumping products into the US, stealing intellectual property, and a host of other nefarious actions. Yes, trade with China will result in lower prices for US consumers, but at what cost?
Free trade should mean trade among predominately free countries, not adversaries that want to subjugate you.
How many Chinese aircraft carriers are off the coast of the US. How many US carriers cruise the South China sea, the Sea of Japan? How many bases does the US have in Japan, S. Korea and the Philipines. How many do they have in N. America? Who does the meddling? You don't think we are surveilled by our gov't? We as a country don't have to take in Chinese exports. We do it voluntarily. The US isn't the angel you seem to think it is.
Not an angel at all! How about a dumb ass! The US made China what it is economicaly. Without clinton giving them the most favorite nation status they'd still be in the 1930s. blue jeans would cost four hundred dollars. Our wages, however, would be much higher. At most four hundred dollar genes would be more affordable than they are today. When all the manufacturing plants moved to China, the big money folks made the big money. And we continue to pay. A big assumption was that giving the Chinese a market philosophy would eliminate communism. Well that did not work out.
You asked.
About aircraft carriers while they're making them....
Most Favored Nation Trade Status was one thing, but the real Treason by Billyboy was the approval and enthusiastic support for selling the Loral Guidance Research to the communists - he and his wife both profited handsomely off this scumbaggery.
Prior to Clinton selling us out with this information, the communist Chinese rarely achieved successful lift-off of their rockets, and when they did get off the ground they either crashed within seconds or did not follow the intended trajectory.
Thanks Bill and Hillary - you should both be charged and executed for this alone...
I never said the US is "an angel". But one crucial criterion to determine the degree of individual rights that exist in a country is whether it has a free press and whether it allows criticism of its government. Doesn't happen in China. At this point, we have that in the USA although there is a faction in our country that would like to severely curtail it - I call them the Progressive Fascist Nihilist Left. A country like China that has little respect for its own citizens except to use as pawns to get what it wants out of them is going to have little respect for other countries. We, in the USA, have people who want to do that too, but we have the means to fight back at least for now. No free press in China and the population is controlled as much as the CCP can do it.
As far as buying Chinese exports voluntarily, the communists have always said they are willing to sell us the rope that will hang us. We need to extricate ourselves in a measured way from trade with China. If China wasn't a communist dictatorship, we wouldn't have our military anywhere near them. So, most of what you write ignores the essential differences of character of the two countries. If China has a revolution or a massive change in direction and restores freedom there, then they become partners, not adversaries.
I think You forgot to mention that one of the founding Fathers said, I will not quote word for word, but You will get the drift of the message. "only buy, sell and trade with any country." Why did He say that ? Experience.
If you got a problem with my comment and want to reply, tell me where I'm wrong instead of writing this intellectually vacuous BS of "where do you get your information from".
The standard Go-To whenever a lefty/communist/dimocrat is presented with Facts or Evidence. They refuse to attempt their own research because they know there is NOTHING beyond their feelings and/or indoctrinated talking points to support their position, so will subsequently ignore you and Reality.
REstricting trade policy is bad policy.... So the theory of Comparative Advantage is always correct? It might be correct in a perfect world, one which we aren't even close to having. Seems Bill forgets that China is a communist country run by central planners.
I hadn't thought about it that way. It's official , the u s is now an exporting nation. Is our number one export is workers. Legal workers go for more mone than illegal workers presumably. I can see the headlines 2 years from now. Mexico puts tsriffs inbound workers China too.
Eureka! Let's keep all the workers. Let's make the other government's pay a tariff.
While obviously accurate, it is truly astounding how Mr. Bonner can continue, day-after-day, to say the same thing with different words. An amazing Wordsmith and there must be quite the well-worn Thesaurus front-and-center on his desk. ;)
PS - "Is the possibility that the world economy will crash soon a reasonable likelihood? Yes. And, the reason why comes down to two words, Donald Trump."
Bill: I suspect you get as tired of hearing my complaints as I do making them. Today is no exception. If Murphy is someone who you obviously find “shallow, wrong, goofy or silly,” then why waste your ink and our time discussing his theory? Or, do you provide us with his wisdom because you found someone who comes close to agreeing with you. Your complaint is valid that the rich get richer [that includes you by the way] and the poor get poorer [which includes me by the way]. So what! That’s the way it has always been and I don’t subscribe to your newsletter because I expect that to ever change. I subscribe to you to get insight into how I might move myself closer to the “richer” side of that equation. You and your minions have been saying a stock market meltdown was imminent and we had to crawl back into our caves until Armageddon was over and we could buy all the now-cheap stocks. So, we sat out 2023 and 2024 while the gains were through the roof, and the only thing you offer is more of the same. If you predict something long enough it will happen. When it does, I am sure we will hear “I told you so.” When I do, I will probably drop my subscription just cause I don’t see your group giving me any further “help.” Tom’s advice on various investment strategies was helpful, but too limited to help me manage my entire portfolio. Dan’s analyses have been educational, but again doesn’t get me past the Armageddon strategy. And, your diatribes are interesting if one is a diehard Trump hater. Does Murphy have a newsletter?
I suppose You expect miracles. Not Me , I read for education and that allows Me to decide . I do not only read Bill's works but others as well. This usually gives Me more insight to what I may do , but not have to.
While I would have loved to make more money over the last few years, the biggest reason I’m here is simple: I don’t want to take the big loss.
If I were 40 years younger, sure, I might throw some cash at the latest meme coin, stand back, and hope I hit the sell button at the right time. Or maybe I’d ride NVIDIA, cross my fingers, and pray I don’t look up five minutes too late to find it’s dropped, taking another $20K of my retirement savings with it.
Instead, I’m here for the long game—and to see just how many ways Bill can spin “boy, are we f*cked,” while I giggle my way to the computer to reply, “yep.”
It's best to have a balanced approach to newsletters. I'm not out of the market, and probably never will be. I follow trends, the newsletters help me figure out what might be the next trend. I'm in energy, no matter the CPI the need for massive energy and continues to increase. I subscribe to EB Tucker as part of this balanced approach. I've got a lot more than 1% in crypto. No matter who worthless Bill might believe crypto to be there's billions of dollars within its markets. Crypto is not for the light hearted, it's a lot like walking through the State Fair with one's wallet hanging out of one's back pocket.
I've had stocks over time increase double digits. Crypto has given me 20% gains in a month. Currently I'm making 29% interest on USDC staked on a Defi exchange. I trade perpetual futures through a VPN linked to Sydney Australian IP address. The US government doesn't think US investors should risk their money in perpetual futures but it's ok for the rest of the world. Is all this very risky? Damn right, nobodies paying rates this high without risk.
For better or worse Trump understands a key metric about crypto, the entire crypto market is keyed to the US dollar. Destroy crypto and there'd be no need for 100's of billions of US dollars in the space. If not for crypto USA would have lost the reserve currency status long ago, there'd be no space to soak up excess liquidity.
Who are the "asset earning elites" that Bill refers to? One should look at the percentage of jews who are at the top of the U. S. gov't, the banking system, big business, the entertainment industry, and the media(press, tv) . You'll find the numbers are quite high. They control things and they always work things to their advantage as they always have.
The roots of this perception go back over 2,000 years. Jews were historically labeled “Christ-killers” by segments of the Christian world, which led to centuries of exclusion from owning land, serving in the military, or participating in many professions in medieval Europe.
As a result, they turned to the few professions left open to them—most notably money lending and finance. Charging interest was considered sinful by the Catholic Church at the time but was allowed under Jewish law.
This profession became profitable, but it also bred resentment, jealousy, and accusations. Over time, this led to pogroms, forced ghettos (where Jews were restricted from owning land), economic scapegoating, and ultimately, the Holocaust.
Today, it’s true that Jewish descendants hold high positions in industries like entertainment, finance, and media. For example, five of the top 10 entertainment companies are run by Jewish leaders.
Does that make them evil? No.
Does it make them powerful and influential? Without a doubt.
Why shouldn't they if they can? Save your money and continue on your intellectual path and your family too may be leaders.... Some arrive with nothing and leave with nothing. The good stewards will prosper. For a while anyway, just ask Harry Weinstein.
You are SO full of shit. It appears you have done your bullshit research to show off your anti-semitism. You belong in hell for showing off such ignorance. Fuck you.
From a Jew who worked his ass off for many years to have a nice middle class lifestyle.
I think you'll find the majority of Jews spitting out their coffee over your comment.
The longest running conspiracy theory in history is "The Jews control the world".
The Jews only wished this were the case they'd have not been murdered, enslaved, robbed, raped, all over the world and in every nation they settled. They buy (yes from the Arabs) the land of Israel rebuild the entire nation into a modern state. The Arabs seeking work and freedom of self determination (something impossible to find in the Middle East) come running from all over the Middle East to settle in and around the Land.
Before you choose sides understand a key fact: There never was a Palestinian people in the history of the world. Rome conquered the Middle East the area occupied by the Jews it was renamed the Province of Judea (Jews) by Rome. Later in 135 CE and after what became the final Jewish revolt, Hadrian killed all the combatants, enslaved the women and young children, salted the land, destroyed Jerusalem and as a custom dating back to Persia renamed the land Syria Philistia in honor of the ancient Jewish foe the Philistines.
Hadrian simply wanted to wipe the entire race and their culture off the face of the earth.
Fast forward Yasser Arafat desiring to extort by scamming Israel out of $$$ started a separatist movement the PLO. Literally claiming to be a Palestinian a people history records being defeated by King David, and subsequently off the map by Alexander the Great. While history traces the original Philistines back to Crete and labels them as terrorist invaders.
The reason Jews are being vilified in their current defensive war, the world loves to hate Jews period. I have to say 90% of the hate is jealousy, the other 10% is religion.
Nothing a Christian or Muslim hates more is a Jew who knows their religion and associated books better than they do. Nothing a Rabbi hates more than a gentile who knows the Towrah better than they do. That in a nutshell is why Jews are hated, for the most part they ignore what God teaches, but know Christianity and Islam are so easily shown false using only the NT and destroyed using Towrah.
The person who attacks faith is always hated, and if possible silenced.
How about the Bolshevik jews who eliminated 40 million Russian/Ukrainian Christians during and after their lovely little revolution and the ensuing Holodomor. About 78% of the leaders of that revolution were jews. Although you've probably never looked into that. You say the world loves to hate jews. Have you ever looked into why that might be? Maybe you should. Especially since they are on stolen land.
Yeah, the Bolshevik Revolution and everything that followed were horrific. But pinning it all on “the Jews” doesn’t hold water. Sure, there were Jewish individuals involved—Trotsky being the most famous—but the Bolshevik leadership was made up of people from all kinds of backgrounds. Lenin? Not Jewish. Stalin? Definitely not Jewish. And let’s not forget that Stalin eventually turned on Jewish people too, purging them like he did so many others.
As for the Holodomor, that wasn’t about religion or ethnicity either. It was Stalin’s brutal collectivization policies, plain and simple. Millions of Ukrainians starved to death because of his totalitarian insanity. But the idea that it was driven by some kind of Jewish agenda? That’s just not how history happened. Plenty of Jewish people suffered and died under Soviet rule too.
Now, about this idea that “the world loves to hate Jews”—well, yeah, sadly, it’s true. And there’s a reason for it, but it’s not the one you’re hinting at. Historically, whenever things go sideways—economic collapse, political turmoil, plagues, you name it—societies have a nasty habit of blaming a minority group. Jews have been an easy target for centuries because they were often set apart, denied certain rights, and forced into specific professions. That kind of scapegoating has led to pogroms, expulsions, ghettos, and eventually the Holocaust.
And the “stolen land” argument? Look, no more than you or I are living on stolen land, whether it’s in the U.S., Canada, or elsewhere. Israel’s existence is tied to thousands of years of history, migration, wars, and international agreements. It’s messy and complicated, like most things in history, and reducing it to one phrase doesn’t do it justice.
If you’re looking for reasons why Jewish people have influence in some industries, you don’t have to reach for conspiracy theories. It’s a combination of history, resilience, and, frankly, a lot of hard work. That doesn’t make them evil—it just makes them human.
Stalin wasn't jew but almost all the people around and advising him were. It is very clear that the Marxist revolution was a jewish led revolution. Don't forget too that the talmud promotes pornography, lgbtxyz agenda, usury, etc. Who controls the porn industry for example? You guessed it, and they are very devious in apportioning blame to others and always making themselves out to be the victim. If you go back to medieval times, why were they expelled from so many countries? As far as the land goes two wrongs don't make a right. The jews in Israel today are not descendants of the jews of the Roman period They are ashkenazim Khazarian jews from eastern Europe bought there as a result of the Balfour Declaration after WWII. They are not semites. The Palestinians however are semites and have lived there since The roman period and before. The things you list as reasons for persecution aren't the ones at all. Usury, the immorality they promote, the control of the banking system by which they do control just about everything else. They control more money than countries and they use it to their advantage exclusively. The US congress is owned by AIPAC/ADL/ B'nai. Look into how much money they throw at the pols in DC. They own congress and they get the US to do a lot of their dirty work. They are no friend of the US. They use us much to their benefit and we get almost nothing from them. How about that USS Liberty incident? Friends? Yeah, right. Tell that to the thousands of Palestinians who have been crushed in the jew enforced concentration camp in Gaza.
The ethnic makeup of Stalin’s top advisors during the Holodomor shows the diversity of Soviet leadership at the time. Russians made up the majority, around 44%, followed by Jewish individuals at 30%, Ukrainians at 14%, Georgians at 8%, and Poles at 4%. The Jewish representation was noticeably higher than their proportion in the overall Soviet population, which was about 1.8%.
This overrepresentation wasn’t about some kind of agenda; it had more to do with historical and social circumstances. Jewish communities were often based in urban areas where revolutionary ideas took root, and many Jews had access to higher education, which positioned them to take on roles in the Communist Party. But it’s important to understand that the Jewish individuals in Stalin’s government weren’t there as representatives of their ethnicity or religion—they were Marxist-Leninists committed to the goals of the Soviet state, for better or worse.
The policies behind the Holodomor were driven by Stalin’s political and economic ambitions, especially his push for collectivization and total control over Ukraine. The famine’s horrific consequences weren’t the result of anyone’s ethnicity but of the brutal, top-down system Stalin imposed. While some Jewish officials played key roles in his government, so did many Russians, Georgians, Ukrainians, and others. They all operated under the same Stalinist ideology, which placed loyalty to the regime above anything else.
The claim that the Marxist revolution was “Jewish-led” distorts the truth. It’s undeniable that some Jewish intellectuals were involved in revolutionary movements, largely because systemic oppression under the Russian Empire pushed them toward ideas of radical change. Pogroms, discriminatory laws, and exclusion from many professions created conditions where Marxism, with its promises of equality, appealed to marginalized groups, including Jews. But Lenin, the leader of the revolution, was ethnically Russian with some mixed Jewish ancestry and identified himself as Russian. Meanwhile, Karl Marx, who wrote the Communist Manifesto, was born into a Jewish family but was an agnostic who didn’t identify as Jewish. The leadership of the revolution was ethnically diverse, with major figures like Stalin (Georgian) and Trotsky (Jewish) working alongside others from across the Soviet Union. To frame the revolution as driven by a Jewish agenda is not only false but also a deliberate attempt to scapegoat Jewish communities for complex historical events.
The reference to the Talmud supposedly promoting pornography, LGBT rights, or usury is another gross misrepresentation. The Talmud is a collection of Jewish religious laws and ethical discussions, and these claims have no basis in its teachings. Historically, Jews were associated with moneylending because they were barred from land ownership and many professions in medieval Europe due to the fact that Jewish people were called "Christ-Killers" (after WW2 and the holocaust, the Vatican explicitly rejected the notion of collective Jewish guilt, emphasizing that Jesus' death cannot be attributed to all Jews, past or present). Rulers often relied on Jewish moneylenders but would scapegoat them when it suited their purposes—erasing debts, confiscating property, and redirecting public anger. It was a strategy that unfairly painted Jews as villains while enriching the rulers who targeted them, a legacy that continues to haunt Jewish communities to this day. This pattern of persecution wasn’t about Jewish “behavior” but about convenience and power.
The idea that Jews “control” industries like banking or the entertainment business is another conspiracy that doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. Of the top 10 banks in the world, only one—Wells Fargo—is led by Jewish leadership. Hardly the “control” these theories suggest. Banking and finance are vast, global systems involving countless individuals of many backgrounds. Simplifying them into a narrative of control by one group isn’t just inaccurate; it’s harmful. In the entertainment world, of the top 20 companies only 9 are led by Jewish CEOs. Again, hardly the world dominance you were alluding to.
The same applies to claims about Jewish influence in U.S. politics. There are over 12,000 lobbying groups in the United States, representing interests as varied as healthcare, energy, and labor. AIPAC, which advocates for pro-Israel policies, is just one of them. Out of 100 U.S. senators, 10 are Jewish. In the House of Representatives, 23 out of 435 members are Jewish. That’s about 5% of Congress—not exactly evidence of control. Singling out Jewish organizations while ignoring the vast and diverse lobbying ecosystem in the U.S. is disingenuous at best.
The Khazar theory, which claims modern Jews are descendants of Khazars rather than ancient Israelites, has been thoroughly debunked. Genetic studies have shown that Ashkenazi Jews have significant Middle Eastern ancestry, consistent with historical accounts of Jewish migration. The theory persists, however, because it’s often used to delegitimize Jewish ties to Israel. That said, Palestinians also have deep Semitic ancestry, as do Jews. The histories and identities of these two peoples are interconnected, and dismissing either side’s claims based on pseudo-scientific theories only deepens divisions.
The USS Liberty incident is often brought up in discussions of U.S.-Israel relations. While the attack was tragic and remains controversial, it doesn’t define the relationship between the two nations. Israel apologized and claimed the attack was a mistake, and while many Americans have lingering questions, the broader alliance between the U.S. and Israel is far more complex. International relationships can’t be reduced to a single incident, no matter how painful.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is deeply tragic, and there’s no denying the suffering experienced on all sides. The people of Gaza live under harsh conditions, while Israelis face constant security threats. Reducing this complex conflict to accusations of “Jewish evil” or “Palestinian terrorism” oversimplifies an issue rooted in centuries of history. Both peoples have legitimate claims to the land, and finding a path forward will require empathy, compromise, and a rejection of rhetoric that seeks to demonize one side over the other.
Thank you Luke and Chris, for letting us sit at the grown-ups table for your discussion. Fascinating facts on both sides and I personally learned a lot that I didn't know...
Murphy is a wonky money funneling charlatan from a pea biscuit galvanized era. His philosophy is worth a bucket of spit on the turnpike. When the middle class fails the rich prevail, the spine support of Ramascus alleviates the slime dime canopy that Jacob fortified in the sand chip. The poor are blink hogging no more.
The slither of flesh, above the middle class edge is ready to move their life’s work into the hope, of green tall galore, but the devil hides in the muck, ready or not, Paris tower sniffles the buck, the return of Kamala Harris, block hedge mock the ferris, the eyes of dark light, puts up a fight to end civilization, destroy all the nations with turkey neck goose and drink the red juice.
Indeed, and people wonder why sane folks just want to be left alone, here in America. Live in peace with God and Nature as intended. Be thankful for what was always free for just a bit of labor & love. Instead we now have evil money changer's who believe that They are entitled to own and rule the world. Problem is the weak in the newfound land of God agreed for a stipend and a promise for a seating at their table. Was it all worthwhile? Ask the rest of us. Even the wealthy are slaves to the stipen but they won't admit it. Until we all understand the American Declorations of Independence - as children of God and not beholden to fabrications.
How does one survive in this world of high inflation, systemic distortions, corruption, immorality, chaos, mass psychosis, and lack of genuine connections, which may also be on the verge of nuclear annihilation?
Tom Dyson offers a sound investment strategy if you're financially secure, have substantial wealth to preserve, have at least a decade to wait, and a secure bolt-hole.
However, despite limited capital and considerable risk, swing trading is the only viable option for survival for someone like me struggling with the consequences of a past I didn't choose, near retirement with a fixed income, a negative net worth, and losing the battle with inflation.
Contrary to what our deranged leaders believe, nuclear annihilation has no upside, but it would solve all my problems and allow humanity to clean the slate and start over. But I doubt the end would be quick and painless for most.
Perhaps the aliens will offer a solution that doesn't involve recipes or servitude, and maybe they'll make better companions than AI girlfriends.
First off, Bill, you didn't finish the first sentence in one of your paragraphs. I had ChatGPT do it for you—very likely in your haste to get today's most original thoughts onto the digital canvas.
I can totally relate.
"There was a staggering economic toll. Estimates are all over the place... but the mortgage finance crisis of 2008... and then, the Covid Shutdown fiasco of 2020 reached upwards to $20 trillion of 'total economic costs.'"
I had given ChatGPT only your paragraph at first. It replied with "significant economic impact." I then added the paragraph immediately prior, and it thought the missing words were "a massive transfer of wealth." When I added your entire post, it changed back to "staggering economic toll." After Dan's paragraph, it became "a massive economic reckoning."
Too funny.
Secondly, the part about "Malice aforethought." While not every branch of government, every senator, or every working member of the Federal Government is in on the grift, there is, without a doubt, a number of elements within the biggest employer on our planet—the Department of Defense—that are doing things their way.
Remember, if the government has no idea where the money it allotted itself is going (the DOD has failed its audits for seven years in a row), then who's to say that money isn't going toward staging these catastrophes? At least the violent ones—intended to keep us all in fear.
While the left hand may rarely know what the right hand is doing, certain entities within the government know exactly what they’re up to—filling their bank accounts with misappropriated funds and flipping the rest of us the proverbial middle finger.
Finally, the bit about Fartcoin. A parody "meme" coin, it has absolutely no utility. It isn’t being accepted anywhere as a means of transacting sales. That doesn’t mean it won’t be in the future, but there are already plenty of other coins in existence.
There’s little doubt in my mind that, like many other cryptocurrencies, Fartcoin is largely funded by small investors riding the wave, hoping to jump out before the crash. The genius of the person who created it was in picking the perfect name for the perfect meme coin. Once the selling starts, everyone else will bail, leaving a lot of "investors" holding the rather empty bag.
Fartcoin's market cap is between $569 and $781 million. According to CoinScan and CoinMarketCap, there are between 28,000 and 42,000 unique wallets. Let’s assume, for argument's sake, that the average investor ploughed $5,000 (some more, some less) into Fartcoin. Let’s also assume the coin’s originators got 100 buddies in on the ground floor when the buying was cheap. With 41,900 other investors making up the rest, that leaves the remaining 100 wallets worth between $3.5 million and $5.7 million.
Now, let’s go a step further. If we work on the presumption that the distribution of wealth in Fartcoin mirrors the global billionaire wealth structure (just over 2,000 billionaires worldwide), then perhaps only two wallets of the 42,000 hold the majority of Fartcoin’s value—while the other 41,998 wallets collectively contribute about $5,000 each.
That means the two wallets at the top could hold between $179 million and $285 million.
The world has no real economy, China sells a bunch of crap no one really needs. The rest of what is produced whether food or clothing is poor quality. I have to agree with Bill, the web has been a real let down. It's has done more to enslave and impoverish the majority than any good it has created. We are given a short time under the sun. I'm old enough to remember not being connected 24/7 365 days. How did we survive? We did and we were all a lot happier for the most part.
Whatever the world becomes, Trump will not be to blame, the elites need a patsy, one that was installed by the majority is a real plus.
People are mad, their dream has been stolen. There's nothing better to unite a disgruntled bunch of people than a good world war. Europe will die in Russia while the USA and China will die in the Middle East.
We can only hope... On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines on the stream,
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Completely agree, Paul. In 2008 and 2020 the powers that be engaged in a slight of hand in which they bailed out the 1% while convincing the rest of the country it was for their own good.
Covid was the culmination of every scammy scheme ever devised by government. As usual the people raced to embrace victimhood.
Thankfully all three of our family businesses' received handsome bailouts. The end result of Covid convinced us and a lot of other business owners it's easier to manage money than people. Most all of our tenants saw the opportunity to default on their rent. Even those whose employment status was unaffected.
Suppliers of food and HVAC materials experienced staffing problems, why work when there's no place to spend one's pay, besides they were being paid not to work.
The reverberations in the workforce as we approach the new year convinced our family to sell the remaining Dairy Queen Grill and Chill restaurant. The new owners are going to reshape labor at the DQ. No need for 7 full time employees and 3 managers, when one manager can be tasked with running a 40 seat restaurant with active drive through. We'll see how that goes, maybe we'll buy the place back for 10 cents on a dollar and invest in food prep robots.
Dan, old son, you could tell Tom to follow the pattern formed by those amongst us who have profited by imitating weasels and use your cash surplus to buy back our subscriptions. Just saying....
This is a good one Mr Bonner, “The forces of history exert gravitational pulls…” indeed “…sometimes things happen that are so beneficial to ruling elites, it’s as if they caused them themselves.”
Though I am sorta hoping for the same outcome chosen personally by Brutus and Cassius once Antony and Octavian got them backed into an inevitable battlefield corner.
PM
Paul you really nailed it. I was thinking the same thing exactly. Merry Christmas.
Same to you. Thanks for your participation in this discussion group. To borrow a line, "I get by with a little help from my friends".
Thanks Bill and Hillary - you should both be charged and executed for this alone...
https://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/05/22/china.money/
Experience.
Where do you get your 'information' from? You assume trust in your sources veracity.
Every. Freaking. Time...
I see ol' Graeme didn't respond to Paul. Shocker!
REstricting trade policy is bad policy.... So the theory of Comparative Advantage is always correct? It might be correct in a perfect world, one which we aren't even close to having. Seems Bill forgets that China is a communist country run by central planners.
Or maybe he sees that as a feature, not a bug?
Afterall, we have recently proven to people like Bill Bonner that we are not sufficiently sophisticated to choose the proper Leaders...
"And there’s the threat of deporting millions of workers"
Bring it on.
A nation is not a nation if we continue in this direction. How can Bill miss this from his ivory tower...or maybe that is why.
Why have we allowed our inheritance, our children's inheritance to just be given away to the tune of millions of people each year?
People seem to be incapable of long term thought.
I was going to say more ,but I will restrict My comment to only this one. I prefer to dig My own grave, not have government do it for Me.
Looks like Bill has found a new bestie...
Excellent summary of BPR since its inception...
Bill forgot to clarify that Murphy is a rare exception to the "shallow, wrong, goofy or silly" financial experts or advisors.
I'm just here for the entertainment haha
Chris
You are SO full of shit. It appears you have done your bullshit research to show off your anti-semitism. You belong in hell for showing off such ignorance. Fuck you.
From a Jew who worked his ass off for many years to have a nice middle class lifestyle.
AP
Dennis:
Good comment. From a Jew married for 30 years to a Christian.
AP
Hi Chris -
Please see my reply to Luke...
Agree on some points with Dennis T. Mostly the history. Just because they know the Torah and The Bible does not mean they know what it means.
So what is your native language ES? And what translator do you use? My lord.
Merry Christmas

LOL!
What a time to be alive!!!
Three takeaways from today's post.
At least until the selling starts.
Yep that is mans words to "help" his fellow citizens. Works some times and other times not.
Week after week, never disappoints:

This is a good one Mr Bonner, “The forces of history exert gravitational pulls…” indeed “…sometimes things happen that are so beneficial to ruling elites, it’s as if they caused them themselves.”

Well that kinda supports Bonner’s underlying thesis that there ain’t no way out.
Yes Wes.
Though I am sorta hoping for the same outcome chosen personally by Brutus and Cassius once Antony and Octavian got them backed into an inevitable battlefield corner.
Hope springs eternal,
Mark
Agreed!
