How about this: Cut 20% ACROSS THE BOARD ON EVERY DAMN SPENDING CATEGORY???? End of story. EVERYBODY complains. EVERYBODY suffers. Yes, this means you, and you, and you, etc., etc.

If we must have a single "bill" to get all the funding assigned (what a LAZY and COWARDLY bunch of parasites), then ^^^THIS^^^ is what it should say. One page, one paragraph - then let the scumbags vote up or down. Mr. Norton nailed it.

Otherwise, split it ALL apart into single Issue/Department funding bills and let the games begin...

Well, we may need to dust off whatever trust we might have remaining to witness an effort to stabilize and overcome a "train wreck" left by the Biden/Obama regime.

But, it will take time and a herculean effort to overcome the barriers left by a nasty, evil, and revengeful "head-of'state" lacky foisted on us by an undercurrent of elite progressives, who will eventually find themselves on the dust heap of history, if not a worse environment.

Let's take a break from the "Cynicalist" in Chief, Mr. Bonner, and listen to some real American patriots. Three sisters, raised on a cattle farm in rural south Georgia, home-schooled through high school, which gave them time among other things (hunting, riding horses, working on the farm, etc.) to learn from their grandmother to sing and play musical instruments. Just a hobby, or so they thought, when a friend convinced them to post on social media (2022), and the music industry soon came calling.... leading to a budding career and their band, The Castellows. I stumbled on them on YouTube last April 2024 shortly after they released their seven song EP.

They received the honor of singing the National Anthem on Sunday before the Atlanta Falcons game. No over-the-top vocals here - just subtle, beautiful harmonies from three brilliant musical geniuses. All is not lost when we have young people like this. Just thought I would add something positive as you certainly are not going to get it from Billy Boy.

John ,I like the essence of Ur story of the Castellows , However Mr. Bonner is no Cynicalist , He is the purveyor of truth Most people of Ur caliber do not understand .

Apparently, you are not a regular reader of Bonner. The word "Cynicalist" is a word of his invention and what he calls himself (hence, why I put it in quotations). He has used it several times in the last few months.

As far as most people of my caliber, do you mean advocates of individual rights - the right of each person to his own life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, and by implication, the right to own property (possessions)? Because that is what I am. And when I get into detail on these pages, I give arguments based on the facts of reality. Bonner, on the other hand, is a mixed bag - sometimes making a good argument, other times taking pot shots at people or making points that have no basis in fact. He is far from a purveyor of truth. In any given column, he makes some good points that most would agree with, only to follow with some absurdities right after. It's as if he makes the obvious points in order to get away with his absurdities because he apparently thinks he can get away with it - feed his "minions" some good meat and maybe they'll accept the poison along with it. But then again, maybe most people of your caliber do not understand or discern the contradictions in Bonner's narratives.

The Neffster is an avowed leftarde who frequently embarrasses himself on this board. Like pretty much all of his cohorts, there is an arrogant ignorance on full display that dooms him to never being able to be taken seriously. He is living proof that age doesn't always equal Wisdom, but frequently correlates to Gullibility...

Even Abe Lincoln had to give congressmen "goodies & favors" - today they are called - "PORK", to get his emancpation proclamation legislation passed. It angered him then and it angers us now. They don't want to vote on each item because then they can't hide the PORK. The PORK is what is used to get the votes to pass the legislation.

We're going to maintain our Federal government's generation of income via current taxation and we're going to CUT, CUT, CUT 20% from the Federal budget - right off the top - no excuses!

Cushy pensions? Come on Bill! The figures show a minus 3% return on money taken & invested in Social Security. Wow I’m all in. The pension system needs to change to something more like Chile. My friends who died @59 & 60 never received any benefits from money taken by SS.

Not as promised. Retirement pure & simple. Supposed to be in vested for us. Government took / spent it. You may have confused Medicare with Social Security. SS was supposed to be government pension. The government originally thought people would die in 2or 3 years but folks lived to long and they also included disabled folks with very lax standards. They have increased deductibles., put up types of exclusions& block approval of needed services. Hired hundreds/thousands of pencil pushers.
